❥ Background: june was born in sokcho, and lived there with his parents until age seven, when they decided to take a trip to seoul. upon reaching there, they were involved in a car crash, which killed his parents. with no other living relatives that he knew of, june was put in an orphanage. this particular orphanage was pretty much filled to it's full capacity, so the children had only, like, one meal a day and two pairs of clothes. in other words, they were poor. june would spend most of his days wandering the city, watching street performers. he decided at age eleven that he was going to be a musician, and ran away from the orphanage when he was twelve to try and fulfill his dream. he learned to play the guitar from the street performers he admired, who taught him in the daytime, assuming that he was poor and went to his house at night. but in reality, he just slept in dry places and just... lived on the streets. eventually, he met the others and began working part-time jobs to buy himself stuff like proper clothes and, of course, a guitar. he likes singing while playing guitar, but as he has not learned to sing properly, he has no confidence in his abilities.
