Where is the cache partition.. Everything in /data? doesn´t sound cool..

I just run unzip *update*.zip -d /cache
then cp -af /cache/system/* /system

but if you want to know.. i don´t have ubuntu... maybe i have somewhere a BackTrack 5 R1
i don´t understand it still. I know that Linux can see Ext2 partitions but
in update.zip is not /cache !
what i have to do?.. i am totally "fcked up"..
can i ask for a proper instructions?..

How to install it..
Everything that i have.. 3x Ext2 (I can reformat like you want...)
Neofroyo.zip (updater script inside..)
CWM 1.9.. I know that isn´t CWM related..)

Everything that i want is proper instructions from scratch...
