- Blew out smoke a few times before he inhaled as e stared up at the sky. Wrapping his hand around his pendant allowing the energy that radiated from the gem to empower him for a moment. After a moment he felt something invigorate throughout is body until he soon released his hand around the pendant before he sighed.
- "For a moment there, I felt it."
- It seemed like he was speaking nonsense, and he possibly was at this point, but he didn't seem to mind it at all. At least he knew, he had felt a further connection with the stars than he had before, possibly from being exposed to cosmic magic more than usual since he was blessed. Shaking away those thoughts he soon reached over to take his blade and unsheath it.
- "Sorry, let us begin."

- The still livid retainer sat himself down as he stared up at the lowering night sky. He had always enjoyed this time of day, granted he hated being alone and surely he caused himself, but he was content with his. Shin'Ra told himself he was okay, as long as he had the stars to look at.
- The mutual connection he had with them, the stars almost made him feel uneasy. When he thought about it gingerly, pushing people away from him would be easy, too easy, he could just leave the Tseng family, Amarisa, and everyone and just started a life staring at the stars, But even he knew that wouldn't bring him satisfaction, even if he wanted to do so. Shin soon turned his gaze to his pendant before he sighed running a hand through his hair.
- "That feeling again, it happened." He flexed his hand around the pendant until he finally placed it back on. He quickly soon turned back towards the direction where he thought his star was or was it another one? He really can't tell at the time as it may have been another one.
- "Odd."

- Stood firm as he collected more wood, possibly for a new house if he and Amarisa ever decided they wanted a bigger one. He found himself tightening his grip on the bag he used to carry as he continued to hike his way up the mountain. Steam started to permeating from is body heartening himself by means of sweating.
- Shin'Ra soon dropped the logs and scrambled to find his match, soon he just gave up entirely and simply stared up at the sky. The stars were out again and he even saw his own unstable star up in the air. Closing his eyes he could feel the surrounding stars orbiting his own. He mumbled a bit to himself as he sat up and ran a hand through his hair.
- He sighed and thought thoroughly about some things mainly, why did he want to get strong?
- A fairly simple question, it was for the retainer, smoke soon left his mouth as he snuffed out the lighter and stood himself up and headed back to where his house was. His boots crunched in the snow as he made his way down, Amarisa, his current lover came into his mind, he was treating her terribly these days, he knew this, but..he was honestly jealous of her, she had power, good morals and she almost was never alone due to her personality. And he was dating her, if he ever told her that he felt inferior to her she'd probably smack him or give him a pep talk, which he felt was well deserve considering everything they've done thus far, he also loved her.
- Next was the Tseng family, mainly Zai, Ren, and Dai, the ones who saved him from the lives on the streets, well in the slums. He was a mess back then and even less of a mess, but he vented more and wore his emotions on an open sleeve. He was jealous of them for being together as a family and just powerful in general. A sigh escaped the retainers mouth as he took a stop and stared up at the stars again.
- "I don't know how I'll get stronger, but with the aid of the stars, can I protect the ones I cherish?" he asked, getting no answer back before walking on coming close to his home.

- Shin'Ra was getting better! Somewhat?
- Seeming to have learned from his previous bouts with Wei Ma as he was actively able to hand hits on the male despite feeling a heavy jolt of electricity coursing through his arm in the process.Gnashing his teeth the retainer pressed forward, keeping his stance rooted to the ground as he soon wrapped himself with cosmic energy and charged the back of his katana into Wei Ma's frame before he toppled against the ground with a hard thud.
- With a closed fist he brought his fist down on the grass to send a surge of cosmic mana to cause a wide area around him to illuminate with a yellow sear. With a simple shake of his head as he listened to Wei Ma's words carefully as he continued is the assault on the Herizan.
- "I guess it isn't bad for an unenchanted blade." he mused as he broke away to charge his body with more cosmic mana, thinking this was the answer to solve his issues. "Then maybe this is." He dashed ahead as he grasped his blade in two hands attempting to land a clean hit on the War Captain's frame. With a sudden invigoration of cosmic mana flooding into his circuits causing the aura around him to momentarily flash a blue hue, just for a second before he met with Wei Ma's blade sending his already worn body sputtering to the ground. "Ow OW! Fuck! What even is this?!"
- He cried as an intense pain rushed through his body, Wei Ma probably didn't even hit him that hard for something like this to occur.

- The retainer tossed his steel greatsword off his back as he shifted his stance, soon his gaze narrowed before a golden glow erupted from his body as he dashed himself towards the Shenlong, who seemed like he was getting rusty. With his Mythril blade clenched lightly as he clashed his blade with the Shenlong's glaive.Gritting his teeth as he attempted to out strength the Drakanite before he was flung off by the sheer force of the male's attack. Stumbling back, Shin'Ra attempted to regrind his footing only to be met with an onslaught of blows from the Tseng Officer until he was tossed airborne. For a moment, Shin'Ra finally realized why Chunhua loved flying, only for a moment as he soon tilted himself backward. "In moderation? Okay."
- While making his descent, Shin'Ra exhaled as he invigorated his body as he called for his unstable star to flood his mana circuits to the brink with celestial energy. Suddenly his golden cloak turned dark blue, like the night sky as he barreled himself downward as the retainer with all his might slammed his blade into the Shenlong's frame sending the male back.
- Shin'Ra didn't want to miss a beat as he dashed forth with cosmic energy to slam his body into Dai's frame before he crumbled to the ground, clearly this technique was taking a toll on his body, he was rather new at it after all. Sweat flooded his brow and body as he struggled to stand back on his feet, he didn't even have time to properly defend himself as Dai rushed in and slammed him into the wall making a mini-crater."God that..hurts.." He flopped.

- Shallow breaths escaped the male's mouth as he struggled more causing the chains to bind and tighten around his wrist cutting into the skin. Cursing under his breath as he pressed his head against the wall. His breath as a bit more horse as he gnashed his teeth while trashing and eventually kicking causing the chains to cut deeply into his wrist, at first only shallow bleeding.
- Unknown to Shin'Ra that the bindings around him loosened because of the small amount of blood. He paused to take a breath, inclining his head back to rest against the wall. Closing his eyes to collect his thoughts. The only thing that came to him was Amarisa, he didn't want to die here...he couldn't die here. "I...won't die here.." He said in a hoarse breath, slowly opening his eyes in the process. Only for a startling surprise.
- His vision was heavily blurred in one eye! A low curse escaped from his mouth as he blinked a few times making sure he wasn't seeing things, at first before it dawned on him. Each blink he saw his vision worsening....getting darker fading even before eventually sealing his left eye shut permenately.
- "Amarisa...I'm going to make it out of here.." Now Shin'Ra wasn't a spiritual man, but he did believe in the stars that guided him. Closing his good eye he prayed to the star that gave him power, Ain, or the eye. "Oculus Boreus, I offer my left eye, in order to gain power, once I get this damn collar off." He flashed a small grin, taking it all in, at least the cosmic energy he could feel.
- Snapping his eye open he trashed around once again eventually placing his feet against the wall ignoring the seething pains in his wrist causing his ooze profusely as he gave one final push ripping the chains off the wall--actually the wall in general, this place wasn't very...secure. He didn't really have time to waste as he groggily took off dragging chains behind him.
