Random hot take. If I see an arch linux sticker somewhere on your laptop:
 1. I don't think you know what you are doing. I think you are pretending you know what you are doing. In a job interview, I will SWEAT you on linux questions
 2. Arch is a piece of cake nowadays anyway. They have great documentation. Building an OS so it sucks so much you need to have perfect documentation to be usable is one way to achieve good documentation I guess. Just un-suck the system itself once you get there
 3. Packages are irrelevant nowadays, AUR stuff is available through other means. Usually better means, like it actually fucking passed through CI and is not built from a random github branch on your computer
 4. Unstable system is not a point of pride
 5. There are people who run crazy systems, and they dont flaunt it, if you really want to punish yourself try:
     a. gentoo (if you want to physically fight richard stallman personally to install GPU drivers)
     b. LFS (if when you need milk your first idea is to buy some land so a cow has some grass to graze on)
     c. OpenBSD (if you think MOSAD or someone is trying to implant a root CA or something on your computer)
