Isabela was the youngest of three children to her Chinese-Korean mother and her Filipino father. She wasn't really recognised for her efforts but this pushed her to work harder. She moved to Seoul at the age of 3 and learned Tagalog (a Filipino language), Korean and Chinese as her parents made it compulsory for her to understand and speak the languages of her ethnicity. Isabela found that music, singing and dancing stood out to her and realized it was what she wanted to do in the future. She auditioned for an entertainment company at the age of 14 and trained for 3 years and 2 months. Her parents didn't hold her back and in all honesty, they really didn't care what she did because they paid more attention to the fact that her sister was graduating the same day she was leaving, so she left without a goodbye.
