  6. Alpha Patch 3.5.0 has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: PTU-1179321.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizenPTU\LIVE.

Note: This patch is devoted completely to feedback on the updated flight model and will be split into several phases specifically designed to focus testing on aspects of the gameplay changed or impacted by IFCS. Missing 3.5 content will be added to testing at a later date and any new content not related to IFCS will not be part of this wave of testing. In addition, it is recommended that you redo keybindings from scratch for those of you using custom controls due to numerous updates.

  33. EVA exit/entry can cause interaction mode to get stuck on.
  34. Pitching/yawing at or near the velocity limiter can cause the ship to accelerate beyond it.
  35. Art and assets are noticeably missing from Broken Moon and Dying Star
  36. Spectator mode UI and respawn UI are not setup correctly.
  37. We are only partway through a ship systems heat rework and as such weapons are currently not overheating.

  39. IFCS Update

  41. All ship thruster output and tunings have been reworked for a more drifty feel.
  42. IFCS netcode has been updated for more efficient performance.
  43. ESP has been updated for new flight tunings.
  44. SCM and PRE bespoke modes have been removed.
  45. "Afterburner" as it was has been removed.
  46. Comstab has been removed.
  47. "Boost" is now referred to as "Afterburner".
  48. The old throttle has been replaced with an universal throttle system.

  50. The updated universal throttle is a throttle controlled speed limiter that is applied to all strafe directions and is controlled independently of ship motion. Core ship movement is now controlled via "strafe" in the desired vectors. Additionally, there is a "cruise control" toggle that activates automatic thrust forward for longer distance travel. Cruise control is disabled with any strafe input. The speed limiter can be disabled by default (game settings menu) or via hotkey (J).

  52. Velocity is now shown as actual velocity rather than vector dependent.
  53. Ship audio has been reworked including new thruster audio, new ship sounds, and audio linked ship vibration.
  54. The center flight HUD has been reworked to better fit the updated flight model.
  55. Atmospheric flight has be retuned and now includes lift in addition to drag.
  56. Gravlev control hs been reworked.
  57. Controls for joystick, keyboard, mouse, and gamepad have been updated.
  58. AI pilot behavior has been transferred to updated flight model and includes break-away under fire tactics and seperate lateral and frontal attacks for larger ships with turrets.
  59. Shield health has been significantly increased and shield regen reduced. (Note: We won't be focusing on time to kill this phase and as such wont' be taking feedback on shields just yet)

  65. The canopy should no longer be highlighted as if in interaction mode when moving on some ships.
  66. The UI in AC/SM for cycling target when spectating should no longer change when the player toggles the HUD on and off.
  67. Ships should no longer spawn into Arena Commander with their landing gear deployed.
  68. Interaction mode should no longer occasionally stay active after tapping "F"..
  69. The correct UI overlay should now be present in Arena Commander race modes.
  70. AI ships should now appear with full shields.
  71. Fixed Arena Commander and Star Marine not showing the reason for awarding points.
  72. AI pilot opponents should no longer cause the comms to get stuck open and all audio from them to stop.
  73. The sight crosshair on ships should no longer occasionally vanish.
  74. Exiting decouple should no longer automatically set anything on the throttle.
  75. Spacebrake while decoupled should no longer behave as if coupled.
  76. Missile lock UI should no longer remain after firing the missile.
