  1. [Prompt 1] You have just been outed as the mastermind in front of all your peers, who are now staring at you in horrified expectation. You’ve played through the mutual killing game of your design, and each of them has lost someone precious to them. Some of them look murderous, others merely shocked and appalled, yet others are in total denial of what they’re seeing, asking you if this is some sort of sick joke. What do you do?
  2.
  3. “And I am telling you, that I have absolutely no involvement in this. The evidence that has been placed against me is the obvious work of a frame-”
  4.
  5. BANG
  6.
  7.
  8. Gunshots were so very helpful when it came to acquiring silence. The courtroom had been chaos, tension rising as accusations of guilt flew every which way. But now it was dead quiet, the remaining students looking at them with looks that varied between shock and absolute horror.
  9.
  10. Really, it was as if they had never seen someone shoot themselves in the head before.
  11.
  12. The body is pulled from it slumped over position on the podium by the back of it’s shirt collar, giving the students one last view of their E.L.L.A. Lemnos’ shocked, bloody face before they carelessly toss it to the side like it was a piece of trash. Because that’s what it was, of course. The clone had played it’s part, and though E.L.L.A.- the real E.L.L.A.- had had a vague hope that it would originally win this game of Mutual Killing when things were on the rails, it really had no point in existing now that they had made their first real appearance.
  13.
  14. “..Hm. What do you think? Was that a dramatic enough entrance?” they ask the gathered students, in a tone as if they were chatting with her over coffee, rather than having just witnessed them murder themselves in cold blood. “Enough to satisfy the executives? It had better be. It’s not as if we can reset the entire scene and do a retake, we are live after all. They’ll just have to take what they can get, no complaining.” With a sigh, they casually toss their pistol towards an attending MANU, it’s screen opening to catch and lock it away, and then lean onto their blood-stained podium. “There we are, we certainly can’t have any further gun violence on this program, there are children watching, after all.” The fact that children were able to witness bloody and cruel murder prior to this trial goes completely ignored.
  15. Their eyes move across the room taking in each and every one of their test subject’s reactions, a light smile playing on their lips... now this was data they could put good use to. “Oh, don’t looked so shocked, really, after everything you’ve been through a sudden occurrence like this must be equivalent to hearing a balloon popping… well, a head popping.” They chuckle at that, but the laugh is devoid of any actual mirth whatsoever. “Besides, this is old news for all the viewers at home, what they want to see is the real plot twist they’ve been waiting for ever since our third “chapter”. Who is it that has been highjacking our broadcast signals, who from the outside world has managed to communicate with our dear Hope’s Peak students.”
  16.
  17. All emotion or hint of amusement suddenly drains from their face, as they turn to stare at a podium that had always lacked an occupant. “So why don’t you show yourself. Nanase. We’ve been waiting for you.”
