We love you Baby B

Covet: Cadence was sitting on the edge of the bed in her hospital room She knew she was coming up on another feeding for Baby B and she wanted to get ready for it. She was stiff and found it hard to move with her stiches. // Felix came into the room with the wheelchair for Cadence, having made his way out to go get something to snack on out of the vending machine.
Alexithymiaa: -Steph was sitting on the couch staring down at her phone in her hand, scanning through the email she'd gotten earlier from Aubrey's management. She pursed her lips, glancing up when Felix wheeled the chair into the room. "Ready Bruce?"-
Covet: Cadence nodded her head and got to her feet. She made her way over to the wheelchair and sat down, grabbing the extra blanket on her bed off of it, draping it over her legs. // Felix smiled at the two girls, then looked at Steph, seeing her lips pursed. "Everything alright?" He asked her while watching Cadence get into the chair.
Alexithymiaa: -She reached for her crutch and pulled herself to her feet, shoving her phone into the waist of her yoga pants. "Yeah... awesome. I sent that song over for Liz and Aubrey. And guess who kicked back that her part isn't right and needs to meet in person to get it right. And guess who doesn't get paid if we don't meet..." She grumbled, starting behind them.-
Covet: Cadence listened to Steph, " Tell her she can meet you here. I'd love to see her try to get all uppity with you, because she wants to be a princess." She said flatly because of her medicated state. // Felix laughed, " I don't think you're going to be doing much in the state you're in right now, plus, you have a baby that needs you here not in jail."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, don't be ridiculous Cadence. I'm in much better condition to be in jail right now." She said with a smirk, giving her arm a gentle nudge as she limped along. "As much as I'd like to meet her here so I don't have to leave, I need my piano. And maybe the piano lid will just so happen to fall on her fingers. Never know, these things happen." She pulled her phone out again, rolling her eyes. "And guess who's already conveniently in Portland..."-
Covet: "Why nobody even likes her here." She said as they moved down the hall to the NICU unit. "Does that mean you'll be leaving here then? " She asked with a slight bit of panic to her voice. // Felix nodded his head, " I mean.. I'd hope that more than just a piano lid on her fingers happened. Nothing....super serious, but even something a little karmaic would be awesome."
Alexithymiaa: "No." She said very quickly to Cadence, stopping outside the doors. "I'll be here all day tomorrow. It looks like she wants to meet up tomorrow night, and as soon as she's gone, I'm coming right back here. And then I'm not leaving. Okay?" She said to her before raising her brows at Felix. "Is this you perpetuating violence? Because I've been itching to kick her ass so... if that's some sort of green light, I'll take it. It's a shame Penny and Nugget are about as aggressive as teddy bears."-
Covet: "Okay good. Thank you for being here... I'm sorry if I have been so demanding with you needing to be here..." She said then stopped when they were at the NICU unit. She put her wrist band out to let them into the are with the barcode on it. Once the doors were unlcoked she felt Felix push her forward, and into the area to wash her hands and get the mask and gown thingy put on in a workable fashion. // Felix held the door open for Steph, then did the same getting used to the whole process now having been helping out most of the day. "Yeah Right. I can't see either of them being anything more than something to trip over."
Alexithymiaa: -She limped through the doors, waiting her turn to wash up and get ready. "You're not being demanding. I want to be here. I'm your Remy stand in. Minus like three feet." She smirked, getting set before continuing on their journey toward Baby B. "Excuse you. They make great pillows too. Especially Nugget. He's beefy. Now... where is my nephew?" She asked, her eyes searching the incubators.-
Covet: "I really appreciate it. It's still hard without him here, but I'm glad you're here. Cadence was pushed down to the section that was set up for Baby B. She smiled and got watery eyed as she saw the little baby underneath the warm light, just sleeping and breathing away with an oxygen tube taped to his face. He had only weighed about five pounds so he looked tiny in this large incubator. The nurse met up with them with the bottle of donated breastmilk. Cadence took the bottle and reached in on one side while the nurse helped her navigate the tubes that were attached to him. She smiled when he started to take to the bottle and just watched him. // Felix just kind of kicked back against the wall out of the way, once they got into the room. He laughed, " Yeah except for when Nugget is gassy or drooling. He's not a great pillow then...."
Alexithymiaa: "I wouldnt be anywhere else." She said with a smile, moving beside Cadence to look down at the tiny baby, her hands instantly going to her chest to clutch at her heart because that's all she felt everytime she saw him. She watched Cadence with him, just smiling literally the biggest smile ver before glancing back at Felix. Seeing Baby B just made her happy.-
Covet: Cadence watched the nurse leave them be, and she went back to watching Baby B. "It's all still surreal. He's so little... and it's not like I imagined at all." She bit her lip as she held onto his hand with her other fingers, while holding the bottle. // "I'm amazed at the power a newborn has. You've both been doe eyed non-stop since last night. Well, since yo woke up." He said to Cadence, cause she'd been out most of the night." Felix said from his post on the wall. He pushed of and came to stand with Steph
Alexithymiaa: "If he wasnt so little, I think you would have had an even rougher time than you did." She looked down at him again, tipping her head to the side to watch him eat before reaching her hand for Felix's when he moved up beside her. "You sound jealous. "-
Covet: "Yeah probably. I'm just scared for him... because he's so little. But they nurses say he hasn't made too much of a fuss." Cadence said then laughed a little at Felix's comment. "It'd be twice as worse if it was a girl. Trust me." // Felix scoffed,"I'm not jealous. It's just impressive to see. I'm not sure there is much of a difference between infant girls or boys... they all kind of looked like squished mini humans."
Alexithymiaa: "You're a squished mini human. He's perfect." She said, making eyes at Baby B. She couldn't help, but let out a little sigh as she watched him. "I dont think it would be worse if it was a girl. I think I'd have the exact same reaction. He's just so... so..." She paused, pouting a little as she watched his little face. "...I have no words. So when can I babysit and start him on defying his parents? Arizona and I are going to be the perfect babysitters. He'll never want to leave."-
Covet: "That's kind of what babies are." Cadence said with a light laugh. "He's perfect, but you and I both know little girls know how to wrap themselves around people's fingers. He'll have people hooked, and he has us wrapped around his finger, but I don't think he has the same effect on say Felix, or maybe Remy...Remy loves the videos of him though." She said with a soft smile as her eyes watered up. // Felix looked at the baby, "I'm sure he'll get cuter, that's what babies do right?" Felix asked. "I think that's when they start actually getting personalities too."
Alexithymiaa: -She flashed a quick glance at Felix before looking back down at Baby B. "I really don't think gender has anything to do with Felix's opinion of Baby B." She saw Cadence start to tear up, shaking her head. "No, stop. When you cry, I start crying. We can't do this every time." She said, bringing her hand up to touch the corner of her eye, trying not to focus on the fact that this was super not Felix's thing. That made her sad.-
Covet: "I'm sorry..." Cadence said sniffling. "I just... want to hold him... I don't want him in here, I want Remy home, because he's missing out on so much already." She felt the tears running down her cheek but didn't want to take her hands out of the incubator to wipe them off. "It's dumb, I know, because all of that will happen, It just makes me sad now." // Felix reached over to give her shoulder a rub. "It's okay Cadence, I'm sure your emotions are still all over the place, it's been a rollercoaster the last handful of days." He leaned his head down and pressed a kiss to the top of Steph's head , while he held onto her other hand.
Alexithymiaa: "It's not dumb at all. I completely understand and would feel the same. I do feel the same. Right now we're just thankful you're both okay. That's all we care about. She leaned back a little into Felix's, sniffling and blinking back her own tears. I imagine they've done a lot of this lately. "I just want to squish him..."-
Covet: "It's just not fair that he doesn't get that skin to skin contact yet." Cadence said as she cleared her throat which was loud enough to make Baby B jump. "Oh, sorry baby.." She said in a whisper. // Felix scoffed, "Jeeze Cadence, startle the poor kid." He taesed lightly. "Yeah, you both are doing amazing for everything you've been through."
Alexithymiaa: "Exactly. We just need to make sure you both get plenty of rest so you can continue getting better and stronger. That way you guys can go home." She smiled, giving a little laugh when Cadence made the baby jump. "Do we have any prospective names for Baby B yet?"-
Covet: "I know what I want, but I don't know how Remy feels. I still love the idea of my little Trick, but I'd like to include Pete or Wentz in it for him too." Cadence told Steph, then looked at Felix, "Thanks. You've been a trooper too. I know Steph hates the hospital, and you hate babies... yet here you are." // Felix dropped his shoulders, "I Don't hate babies... I just don't know.. how to act around them. Kids are easy, but babies are fragile.. and dependent.. and that's.. scary."
Alexithymiaa: "I still think finding a way to add Wentz into this kid's name is cruel." She said flatly before shaking her head. "We're here for you. You put your own shit aside for the people you love." When she heard Felix describe babies as scary, it was like a little alarm went off in her head, slowly turning to look up at him. She didnt want to get into that conversation in front of Cadence, so she sort of just made eyes at him so he'd know she caught that shit.-
Covet: "I know but, I have to include Remy too. He helped after all" Cadence said with a laugh, not picking up on the goo goo eyes Steph was making at Felix.// Felix however did catch them and furrowed his brow, "What... what's that look for? That's the look you have been giving the baby, don't give it to me, go back to the baby." He said turning her head back around. Shortly after the nurse came in to usher them out after their time limit and to let Baby B get some rest.
Alexithymiaa: "Including Remy is using Pete and Patrick." She jerked her head out of Felix's hand so she could look at him again, lifting her hands to sign 'I love you' at him before following the nurse's orders. "I need to sit anyway. We'll be back, Baby B. We'll misss youuuu." She said as she started to hobble away.-
Covet: "I love you baby...I'll be back soon." She said giving his tiny hand another rub before she pulled her hand out. // Felix laughed and gave her a kiss before they exited the room all together
