Part 3 6/6 ISD Event

[19:00:00]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) approached the soldier. He was no full fledged sith... but he was close and maybe he could convince the trooper that he was if he simply never said he was not. His eyes moved to the man and gave a slight nod. "Greetings. I need your assitance." He noticed Aura to his left. "You as well please. I am headed to the Star Destroyer to see what still needs fixed." Noticing Cadie, he would collect her too. "Come on. We will make it a party!"

[19:01:25] Aura turns and, as usual, was holding a tray of alcohol and snacks. "As you wish." She said blandly and bowed before moving to follow.

[19:04:13] Rogan Royce (hakumen) would turn to face the man and click his heels together as he saluted the figure, "Sir!" He would step forward, prepared to follow after the man.

[19:06:43] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) would walk into the temple carrying a burlap bag with a few things inside, she was a bit exasperated and her patience had worn thin "oh ya? I already have work to do" holding the bag up in front of her "i swear if i ever get this sword put together it is never getting cleaned" and she meant it, looking between the lot of them "well..i suppose i could help you if you help me" she had heard She'g was pretty good with weapons, so she bats her eyes a little feigning sweetness, all the while plotting what she can get out of fit

[19:09:06]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) gave Cadie a quick nod. "Alright. Fine then. Let us go and repair the comms array on the ship. When it is finished, I will help you build your light saber." He would take his group and head up to the hanger so they could get a shuttle up to the ISD.

[19:12:50] Acolyte Kantor had only just wandered inside the main hall of the sith base when he saw a group formed and speaking. Though he missed what the conversation was about he heard She'g begin to instruct them that they were going to repair the comms array. Having meant to get together with another Acolyte or the likes of someone to help he began to stride with big steps to try to catch up to them and call out, "Aye. Y'all got room on that ship for one more?"

[19:14:54] Aura had no idea what was going on or even how a ship functioned but she stood quietly the entire way, barefooted, and holding a tray of snacks and alcohol. She did not speak, only stared forward blankly.

[19:18:29]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) took the crew to the ISD via shuttle. He landed it and stepped out so that the small crew he had gathered could step out in to safety. On the way there, he had been talking to Cadie most of the time to explain all of the steps it would take to create her lightsaber once they were finished here. As they made their final approach, he looked out the window and spoke up. "Next stop the ISD!" They would all be able to disembark; as they did he would send out a small scanner drone which would head directly in to the comms array. It would get a head start to tell them what was wrong before they arrived there. Once the crew finished their walk there he would hook his datapad up to the drone to see what was wrong. Reading the results, he would give some orders. "It seems there are some six different terminals that each control different things. All of them are down. Everyone choose one and start trying to fix it. Should you need any help; let me know." He picked one out himself and turned it on to start sorting

[19:20:37] Rogan Royce (hakumen) followed after the party, taking in the small group whom had come with them to repair the ship. It was certainly a larger party then before, but the more aid they had the better. Hopefully none of them would accidentally fry the systems. As orders were given, he would nod and move to one of the stations, already going over some of the logistics in his mind for repairing the terminal..

[19:23:06] Acolyte Kantor finally caught up and boarded the ship along with the rest of the crew. For the majority of the flight he kept to himself, mulling through a data disk that was given to him and fiddling with the gears of his arm. When the landing gears gave way and the ship made a safe landing at the ISD he popped up and followed them into the hangar bay. As She'g's done flew out he watched it vanish through the ship as they took a slower approach. With She'g's assessment given out and the orders pretty clean cut he would nod, turning towards a terminal on the far left and beginning to prod at the windows and rows of error codes. "Doc Holdans really screwed us here. Huh?" He'd say to himself as he leaned both hands on the control console and worked his ways lowly though the first batch of errors.

[19:23:21] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) followed behind the others, her little short legs had to work twice as fast to keep up "Sure, come join the party" of course that meant less work for her with the more that went, She gets on the ship buckling in "everyone ready?" wondering who was driving there she would listen to She'g the whole way telling her how the saber was made, now she had the instructions hopefully fixing the ship and moves to one of the broken terminals looking at it like it was a ghost "if you can just show me what to do" picking up one tool  then another looking strangely at them, she didn't know sith = mechanic

[19:24:11] Aura had absolutely NO idea what any of that meant and shrugged, setting the tray aside and heading for a terminal. ...She couldn't even read and everything was a complete mystery to her. Still! She began poking at buttons and trying to copy what someone else was doing to fix it. If she worked on a terminal much longer she was either going to die or break the thing.

[19:27:43]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) knew Aura had the drinks and snacks. If they ended up in need of it; she would be the most useful one here! She'g himself had chosen the main terminal to try and fix. Trying to get the most basic things up. The other five linked in to the one he was trying to fix. There were two that controlled outgoing communications, one that controlled communications with the fighters, and two that controlled communication in different areas of the ship. However since his was the main terminal... repairing it seemed to be hard for him; even with how technologically inclined he was due to the engineering school he had gone to in the past.

[19:31:04] Rogan Royce (hakumen) hadn't done much mechanical work since his time as a field engineer. Still, he recognized most of the wiring as he took hold of a hydrospanner, holstering his rifle as he began to get to work.

[19:32:52] Acolyte Kantor had slight knowledge when it came to the programmings of the system but for the most part he was mechanically inclined as opposed to technically inclined due to his early life being spent salvaging and reconstructing what he found. As the first error code filled the screen and began to flash red he would take a deep breath, assessing the prompt and then began to type away at the pad, attempting to work it out so that he could move on to the next line. After entering the command the screen lit up red and he heard the sirens begin to sound far off in the lab and hallway corridors. "I'll fix that. Just give me a moment."

[19:34:32] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) was lucky she could at least read, going over to where she was she watched him to see what he was doing asking "what's that" to everything "what if we pressed this red button?" she would wonder back over t o her terminal and start to read all the buttons and gadgets, she would turn the volume up and down making loud crackly noises with each twist of the knob , suddenly there was a loud pop and she screamed out "i think i broke it" looking around to see if anyone was doing any better or worse then she was

[19:40:05]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) heard the sirens and red flashing lights coming from Kantor's terminal. It seemed none of them were doing too terribly well right now. He looked to Cadie and shook his head. "Don't touch anything that does not have to do with fixing the ship!" For now... it seemed like none of them were really getting anywhere. Though he would continue to try on the main terminal for now. However it was not too terribly longer that he found the issue and typed a few things in on the screen and all of the error lights on his terminal shut off. "Well... that worked." There were two more unoccupied terminals and he would move to one of the ones that still needed fixed as he started typing away and looking for error codes.

[19:43:23] Acolyte Kantor was thankful that the rooms that were clearly controlled by the panel he was working on were far enough off that the sirens weren't deafening to everyone else working and breaking their concentration. Clearly they weren't acing shit as he looked around and saw everyone else's terminals showing no better progress than his own. Taking a deep breath and cracking his neck he would open up the same error window and try a second prompt, trying to reestablish the comms to what he now perceived to be the lab and hallways. As Cadie spoke to them his head hung a bit low as he sighed, "Well, if you need any reassurance, it was broken when we got here so as it stands you're not putting it any worse of operation." As he entered the command he heard the sirens silence and the connection at the top right of his screen reading, "Lab and Corridor Comms" turn from red to green. "Alright well that is a good start...."

[19:43:32] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) of course did not pay attention to She'g she was just having to much fun pressing random buttons and twisting knobs "i got this, dont worry" she yelled over the siren from Kantor's terminal, at least hers wasnt doing that

[19:49:32]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter): The team as a whole seemed to be having a bit more success now. They had fixed two of the terminals and only had four more to fix. OS-479 seemed to take a position that was more on guard for the time being; and he was okay with that. She'g continued to fuck with the words on the screen infront of him as he spoke to Cadie as he could tell she was struggling the most. "Scroll through the error codes." Directing her how to do it a bit with his hands even if he was across the room. "When you find one; all you have to do is press it directly on the screen and it will tell you the work around." He did that very thing on his own screen and it worked. Making three down and three more to go. Communications with off the ship would be partially restored now. Half of the frequences were still needed; though he would quickly move on to the terminal that would fix the rest.

[19:50:44] Acolyte Kantor then moved down to the next error codes and cleaned them out before turning his head to Cadie's terminal which she still seemed to be struggling with. "Alright. Then prove to us you got it." He remarked, somewhat teasing but at the same time wanting to get the job over with. Putting the terminal into a locked state he'd then shift to the next terminal over and pull up the error history and the current errors that were showing. Gritting his teeth he heard the warning alarms power on within the room they were in. "I swear...." He said, though his words likely went unheard as he began to hastily work on the terminal, desperate to shut the alarms off.

[19:53:05] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) smiles innocently over at Kantor "you are right.. wonder what this will do" flipping a switch the console moved to open up to a monitor beneath where she flipped another turning it on she looked at the error codes then the sheet with said error codes listed putting the codes in the wrong sequence causing really loud static that hurt your ears to come out "i'm trying!"

[19:57:45]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) gave Cadie a small nod. "I can see that you are trying. I appreciate the effort." That was probably about the nicest he could put what he was thinking right now. However he focused back up on the terminal he was working on. With power having been fully restored through the ship, this should not take too much longer. He immersed himself back in to the work in front of him as he pressed a few buttons and some things flashed and beeped and comms with the outside world came back up. He would hop on and attempt to communicate with Knox or Talon to test it.

[19:58:49] Acolyte Kantor began to punch in commands into the terminal, the sirens were a bit deafening and it began to mess with his focus but perhaps this was exactly what he needed to be doing, working under pressure. As he readied the next command, hoping to remedy the problem that was locking the system out he send it. With the screen flashing red once again he looked as not only were the alarms sounding in the room but now the warning lights were blinking non-stop. "Doc Holdans is lucky he is dead because I swear I'd do it myself otherwise at this point."

[20:00:42] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) well she never said she knew how to do maintance, now she could slop the pigs and muke the stalls .. but fixing .. well anything was not her forte' ,  turning when he spoke she fell over a wire and hit her head "awww" she sat there for a bit holding the top of her head to stop the bleeding

[20:04:27] Acolyte Kantor grew frustrated with his failures, as was his character, and as the sirens began to blow through his ears and the lights began to give him a headache he pounded his fist into the console and quickly entered another command, begging internally that it would work but much like the last two the screen lit red.

[20:06:33] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) tried to see what She'g was showing her after she stood up, but the room was spinning a bit and she was a little unsteady "i .. i see... i will get this or dye trying" literally at this rate she would

[20:07:25]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) still would not help the two. They were completly on their own... unless either of them decided to humble themselves and ask for help. For now though, he would just sit there, watching the two and playing a game on his datapad.

[20:08:10] Acolyte Kantor had just about had enough of this shit as he reached behind his back and grabbed his saber. engaging the core he threw it directly upwards at the siren that was sounding, severing it from the ceiling and watching it fall before pulling his saber back to him. Looking at everyone as now only the light were flashing he'd shrug. "Listen, they send the warning from these consoles. The hell does a siren need to be in here for if this is where they're sending the command out from?" Turning back to the console he disengaged the power crystal and slammed it down on the keypad quite roughly. With nothing else entered suddenly the screen went green and the light shut off and it seemed that both communication terminals through the ship were fixed.

[20:11:09] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) decided to focus, she was determined to get it done "OK , lets see, this is the error that is showing, so i should type this in to correct it" tho some of the letters were blurred making her miss type and have to start all over "i'm getting there" noticing kantor had gotten his to work

[20:13:17]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) heard Kantor's frustration and moved saw the fact that the alarms were going off. he looked to the man and growled slightly. "We are here to FIX the damn ship. Not destroy it!" Cadie was still struggling, but there were bigger issues. She'g called in a team of people on the ship that would start to fix siren that had just been busted. He then went back to playing his game, letting Cadie fight with the tech on her own. "Very good, Kantor. See. Rage does benefit us."

[20:13:34]  Korin Mantell rolled (TECHNOLOGY) with: [1] + [3] + bonus[6] + Force[0] = 10
[20:14:59] Rogan Royce (hakumen) would filter through the internal systems, a bit puzzled as the wiring was somewhat different then the standards he'd been taught. Grimacing, the Trooper would begin checking the wiring, curious as which sets were still useful to the operation of the whole.

[20:15:25] Acolyte Kantor gave She'g that look as he reprimanded him. "Like I said, this is the one room that doesn't need a damn alarm system." Walking cross the room, standing aside She'g and looking over Cadie's other shoulder he would continue to give her a hard time, though it was all in good fun as he knew they were nearly complete with the repair. "Did you try asking it nicely? Perhaps it will take pity upon you." Sure, he was of no help with such a remark but why the fuck not?

[20:18:40] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) put both hands on her hips, she was about to start throwing things, she just knew it "you guys might want to move back " not waiting to see if they did she tried again to put in the codes for the errors, the paper had gotten wet and was so hard to make out "fuck" she growled getting a paper cut on her finger from the paper

[20:21:05]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) said nothing to Kantor as he was too focused on his game. However at this point the trooper decided to step in and he would start using his datapad to pre-emptivly call the ship as he knew that at some point hopefully in the near future they would be able to leave. The team that was called fixed the alarm that the other acolyte had busted by throwing his lightsaber.

[20:24:27] Rogan Royce (hakumen) grunted as he removed his helmet and studied the wiring, "Kriffing---They changed the color standard." He muttered to himself as he suddenly got a better understanding of what was going on, immediately moving with practiced fingers as he began splitting the wires and rewiring the system, whilst making use some of the good wiring. Waste not want not, that was a common saying amongst Field Engineers, and Korin was no different as he made quick work of the damned thing.

[20:26:16] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) started kicking and cussing she was starting to loose her temper.. then when she saw the soldier fix his she put her fingers on each side of her temple breathing deeply trying to control the rage starting to build "I.. must.. finish" still she could not make out the words so takes the paper to try to wipe it clean on her belly

[20:26:43] Acolyte Kantor stepped out of the way of the trooper as he leaned in and messed about with a few wires. After a few moments he watched the screen errors clear out and he gave a sigh of relief. "Alright, alright... I'll fix the god damned alarm." Picking up the severed horn he was thankful that this was more mechanical than technical. Within moments the alarm was once again attached in place and he looked to She'g. "Better? Let's get the hell outta here."

[20:31:09] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) could finally see the letter and numbers  better and puts them in as Kantor hooks the wires back up to the terminal in the back "ohh we got it" she w ould smile brightly once the terminal did a little beeping and the OS started up all the data flying by

[20:31:18]  She'g Ri Nemris (johnmcmanslaughter) finished his game and stood up now as they were ready to leave. He had called the shuttle. His head turned towards Kantor and nodded. "Yes. Much much better." The door to the comms room was activated and they could all leave and board the shuttle they had taken so they could be on their way again and head back to doing their own business. "All aboard! Last call! Final stop, Corellia." The man called out before taking the pilot seat and waiting for the small crew he had brought aboard to climb on and take off. On the shuttle, the on-board medic would take a look at Caide and tell her that she just needed to suck it up.

[20:31:39] Acolyte Kantor got the fuck outta dodge

[20:33:24] Rogan Royce (hakumen) would rise up, quickly sealing up the terminal once again and replacing his helmet on his head. Turning around, he would follow after the others who would be returning to Corellia.

[20:35:53] Cadie  (cadiena.nitely) walked up the ramp and onto the shuttle, there the medic told her to suck it up "how about you suck it up" pushing the medic out of the way she looks around taking what she wants "i'm ready" she puts the seat belt around her waist looking around "what happened to the other one, we leaving her here?" wondering had she went off somewhere to fall asleep, she started to giggle thinking of the surprise when she figured out she was left
