What is the Fire Rod?
The Fire Rod is an item that can change tiles (e.g. it can change water into walkable floor).
If you press R+A and hold A, the tile in front of you gets copied. If you now release A, the tile in front of you changes based on which tile you copied.
So if I stand in front of grass, press R+A, hold A, walk in front of a wall, release A, the wall becomes grass.
This obviously allows me to do a lot of interesting things.

How did you get the Fire Rod?

Currently, we don't know of any way to obtain it without cheats.

How optimized is the route?
Not super optimized yet probably.
Technically you can skip the Roc's Cape and upgrade the sword later in one go, but it's currently too difficult since the Gyorg fight is quite annoying.
