- Description: Trotter, a felon, knocked on multiple doors, before Carole’s son-in-law answered the door. Trotter pushed past him and locked him out, before attacking Carole, stomping her to death. Carole suffered a fractured jaw, a broken sternum and ribs, a crushed larynx, and lacerations to the back of her head. She was so badly beaten, police couldn’t tell if she was a man or a woman. Trotter then took off his clothes & wrote “Moses” in blood on her bathroom wall, before fleeing.
