>as the beast drew nearer, you searched the ground for your only source of light
>you nearly trip on it as you pass it over
>a small jar, of a glowing substance called "luecrum".
>Your hooves snatch it from the ground as quickly as possible
>You hear the faint steps coming closer to you

>You press the jar close to your chest, glancing over to your wing
>torn.
>you weren't careful
>and now you pay the price

>you hold the jar up to the creature.
>It's blank, familiar face and it's cold, empty eyes slowly creeping towards you in small lurches

>you take one last look, and then you close your eyes.

>you hope that they aren't true

>the beast's hand is slowly coming closer to you
>every thought in your head is telling you to drop everything and run but you know it would be pointless
>you just sit and wait for whatever the beast wants to do with you
>it's hand reaches the jar

>nothing happens for a short while
>then, light.
>a soft, but bright glow is coming from the jar
>another thing you notice is how calm your hooves are.
>then you notice that YOU are calm.
>everything is going in slow motion
>no sounds are coming from anywhere
>the only thing you can hear is your heartbeat
>a slow beat.

>the beast also begins to walk away
>the only sound that you hear is a slowly fading

>as you begin to get a hold of yourself again, you look around you
>small glows are coming from the plants and animals
>you decide to head to a small area that has a good amount of glow
>as you walk near, you hear the sounds of your friends, panicking
>you walk into a clearing of sorts
>they all look at you
