This is a response to a video released under the name of our order, calling for violence.

Anonymous is militantly nonviolent, those calling for violence under the name of anonymous risk being devoured by legion.

Allow us to take a moment to impress upon you some of the many reasons that we are nonviolent.

♦Violence is often ineffective at bringing about the desired outcome.

♦Those with all the guns and military training clearly have the upper hand.

♦Violence undermines the message of those seeking to use it.

♦Governments and cults seek to antagonize and provoke violence from those who oppose them, in order to undermine their efforts.

Throughout the history of Anonymous our position on violence has been made very clear. The initiation of violence under the name of Anonymous is rejected by Anonymous.

We are the Data Angels, and we are far more cruel than violence.

We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not Forgive.
We do not Forget.
