- Name: Donatien "The Winged Knight" Chevalier
- Age: 28
- Personality: Devoted, Iron-willed, Loyal, Remorseful, Silent
- Appearance: tl;dr 6' tall, deep brown hair, tan skin, brands covering arms and legs
- I. Donatien stands at about six foot tall, and is rather well-muscled, clocking in at approximately 230 pounds from his muscle-mass. His hair is a dark brown, nearly black, and is swept up and away from his face, cut short on the sides though rather long on top. He stands regally, hands folded behind his back, head tilted up, and stoic.
- II. His arms and legs are scarred immensely, wrapped in the remnants of white hot brands. They have long scarred and healed, though their insidious presence still holds true on Donatien's flesh.
- III. His travelling clothes help to hide his identity from the people that once trusted him, in the hopes that he can return home without needing a widespread explanation: a masquerade mask, bearing the image of an eagle, a simple black jacket, a pair of silken pants, and a pair of leather riding boots. He wears metal choker and a single belt that holds one of his artifacts, the Throne's Blade.
- IV. His armor, the Seraph's Flesh, is a family artifact, given to him by his mother. When active, it sheathes his body in pearly, plate armor, a close helmet, and a thin, crimson tabard bearing his family crest, hanging from both hips. Small silvery wings rest on either side of the armor's helmet, and on both ankles. Beneath the full plate is chainmail, namely at the joints of the armor, that is as black as the night sky.

- Background
- Donatien lived a quiet life of nobility and honor. He was the first son born unto his parents, the fourth child. His older sisters were all marked for lives of royalty, of socializing and pushing the family forward both financially and politically. However, when Donatien was born, war was on the horizon, he was trained to be a knight.
- Every day he would train his body and his mind, to protect his country, to protect his family. By the time he was old enough to join the war, he had to defend his home. He only slayed a handful of Apostles before the war ended, stragglers that he found deep in the hillsides and woods of Floria.
- When he returned home, he was greeted with a happy hello, a warm meal, and his family's love. He stayed the family knight for several years, ushering in renown for his family in tourneys and duels (all for show really, the era of knights has long passed).
- However, in the dead of the night, he was awoken by his second oldest sister, Gwenavyre, screeching. When he arrived in her room, he was greeted by several Apostles. They had already made off with Donatien's two other sisters, but one stepped forward. They were clearly a superior, and left the Winged Knight's insides twisting. They promised a compromise, none of Donatien's family would be harmed, his home would remain untouched, his people would stay safe, but only with one compromise: Donatien's service.
- With two sisters already in their clutches, and who knew how many townspeople, he had no choice but to accept, held tight under their tyrannical thumb. He stays with the Apostles, clenching his teeth and fists at every opportunity. His sisters' safety is all that he can fight for at this point, his honor and his reputation now cleanly chopped apart.
- Artifacts
- The Seraph's Flesh: This artifact is a simple-looking necklace: a plain metal choker that holds tight to Donatien's throat. Upon activation, it becomes a suit of glorious armor, noted in Appearance IV. While active, this armor wildly increases the agility of the wearer,
- The Throne's Blade: This artifact is a simple pocket knife when dormant. However, once activated it becomes a silvery blade that is about three feet long, with an equally long, black grip.
