  1. Start: 8 am, Tuesday, Midsummer 8, 401 GA.
  2.
  3. The party pressed onward, and noticed the strangeness of the next chamber. The floors and walls were caked in filth categorical of deep reaches of the beyond. Cautiously they advanced, aware something was amiss.
  4.
  5. In an instant, they witnessed a rift close before their eyes. Whatever was keeping it open previously was not clear.
  6.
  7. Wary of this, they nevertheless pressed on, until they found a relatively clean portion of the next chamber. They decided to rest up here and steel themselves for what was ahead.
  8.
  9. They moved on, taking the north branch of the path.
  10.
  11. There they found a metal platform and a mire of pitch. The platform appeared to be intended to move. It was not presently functional, however.
  12.
  13. All but Vasileios climbed through the tunnel, and Vasileios waded through the muck. They came upon an ancient chamber with signs of habitation. Evidently, a camp of goblins and a troll had taken up residence in this portion of the ruin. Delving deeper, they found a Duergar in a cage. Deciding to awaken her, they spoke with her.
  14.
  15. Her name was Dramira, and she came from Kor. She described Kor as a deep subterranean autocratic triumvirate. She described as being oppressed, and fleeing with her brother. It seemed a bit strange Dramira spoke their language, and even stranger she brazenly flirted with Vasileios in private, but they decided not to question these things just yet.
  16.
  17. Taking what they would from their surroundings, they asked Dramira to accompany them. She was covered in sleeves of psionic tattoos, after all. She assented, but appeared oddly hesitant. She was clearly holding something back, but it was not clear, or questioned.
  18.
  19. They investigated the next chambers, finding many of them locked with a pressurized mechanism. One unlocked chamber contained three pedestals, each with a placard. The placards read as follows:
  20.
  21. Eaoric the Bloodthirsty
  22. Yolrud, servant of Order
  23. Olgarr, the Mischievous
  24.
  25. Mira ascertained only the pedestal which held Olgarr, the mischievous has been recently disturbed.
  26.
  27. Moving on, they explored four rooms which contained elementals and pressure valves. Vanquishing one room of elementals seemed to reduce the pressure, but cause the remaining elementals to combine into more threatening elementals. They cleared out the room with fire elementals, air elementals, and vanquished one of the two earth elementals.
  28.
  29. End: 5 pm, Tuesday, Midsummer 8, 401 GA.
