Twilight fired off an energy blast to bore through his body. He deflected it with his blade, returning the attack in a multicolored rainbow. Twilight turned that rainbow into an apple, which she threw at Drakkon. Drakkon sliced it in two, not before embiggening it with his magic so fruit juices flew in Twilight’s eyes. The ideal window for him to get in closer range.

Drakkon dashed forward and slashed at the horse’s face with his lizard claws, cutting through an eye. Twilight blindly stabbed her horn into his chest, piercing his heart instantly. For a second they backed off to heal from their wounds. There must always be Princesses in the world. Therefore, no matter how hard they try, death is impossible. They’ll always return to their original state.

Both had the same power. Both found it impossible to kill the other. And so they fought, neither side able to gain the upper hand.
