  1. Hi
  2.
  3. I wanted to give an update on my fiancee's current health situation. If you read my previous pastebin I posted a few months ago (https://pastebin.com/rSjZfc9s), you may know about some of her health complications. Over the past few months, she has had worsening neck issues. She recently had a follow-up with her neurosurgeon that is familiar with her existing conditions. The doctor confirmed she needs a cervical fusion surgery. This is due to a diagnosis of Atlantoaxial Instability. We already suspected this by our own research, and we knew this was an eventual outcome.

  5. They scheduled the surgery for March 31st. The out of pocket cost for us is going to be $8,840, given her insurance approves the surgery. This is a great deal of money for us in a very short window :(. Both Amanda and I do not want to ask for help by putting our burden on others. But I'd do anything for her not suffer through this pain anymore.

  7. The past few days, I've been brainstorming ways to fund this. I have never done my own speedrun marathon before, and I think this is a perfect opportunity to try it. So I'm opening submissions for "Forever Grind Marathon". The plan is to start it the weekend of March 6th-8th. While it is a speedrun marathon, I'm open to any sort of interesting submissions. All submissions are welcome!

  9. The donations will go directly to Amanda's GoFundMe. She has had this open for awhile, for funding medical needs and helping with medical debt. She was able to get a reliable wheelchair from the money she has made in 2019. But now we need everything for this life-altering surgery. Amanda has very detailed information on her page and periodically updates it.

  11. Any sort of help is deeply appreciated. We have other ways of we are going to try and fundraise as well. I have a few ideas for sub goals for the time in between. I'm hopeful we can make this work. This surgery isn't going to fix all of her symptoms, but it will make her daily life far more manageable. I have no idea how she gets up everyday and pushes herself beyond her limits. She is the strongest person I know.

  13. Thanks for reading :)
