  1. So Google Search Console warning about Breadcrumbs on my website.
  2. Hi so I got this automated email from Google Search Console:

  14. Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 1 Breadcrumbs issues:
  15.
  16. Breadcrumbs > data-vocabulary.org schema deprecated
  17. How should I fix this issue on my website? Thanks!
  18. What they are saying in layman's term is: We, Google, used to maintain a data-vocabulary.org website with markup structures which we encouraged everyone to use. While many people found it useful, we as Google decided to pull the plug on this site because schema.org was more popular. We as Google will, therefore, stop using the markup definitions from our own site starting in April 2020.
  19.
  20. Practically said, you have to scan your pages for schema definitions where data-vocabulary.org is used and replace them with definitions defined on schema.org. More about this on Google's blog [webmasters.googleblog.com].
  21. Just adding our own coverage of that topic.
  22. Google Sunsets Support for Data-Vocabulary [webmasterworld.com]
  23. Is this something else that they plagiarised and turned the tables on?
  24.
  25. Selling is definitely one of the most desired blogging skills you can acquire as a blogger or marketer. Here are a few great ways to become an expert at selling online.
  26.
  27. Be genuine and think like an expert: You need to be genuine. There’s no other way around it, really. If you’re promoting any affiliate products, you can use affiliate disclosures, or show logos or testimonials from others to showcase that you’re an expert.
  28.
  29. Learn from the pros: People like Neil Patel, Pat Flynn etc knows how to sell online. If you observe closely how they are closing deals and selling their products, you can learn so much.
  30.
  31. Read more: The simplest way to learn how to sell online is to read more books related to marketing, psychology and business. We recommend you to check out books like Influence, Give And Take, The One Thing etc to learn how to sell like a pro.
  32.
  33. 9. Understand the “emotional triggers” of your audience
  34.
  35. Knowing who to sell to is one of the most important blogging skills you need to learn and master. Without knowing your target audience and what triggers them to buy something online, it gets really difficult for you to make money online.
  36.
  37. So if you want to become a professional blogger, learn and understand the “emotional triggers” of your target audience. That being said, firstly, you need to define your target audience.
  38.
  39. Here are a few quick ways to understand and define your target audience.
  40.
  41. Invest your time to figure out all the products and services you offer from your website so you can easily identify what kind of people who’ll look for such products and services online
  42. Study your competitors as it’s one of the simplest and most effective ways to define your target audience and find out their wants and needs
  43.
  44. You see, there are a lot of blogs (read thousands) going live and millions of blog posts are getting published every single day. It’s almost impossible to get a lot of exposure to your blog posts if you don’t promote your content well.
  45.
  46. “Focus on spending 80% of your time on content promotion and 20% on creating content”.
  47.
  48. Let’s say if you’re spending 2 hours in creating a blog post, spend 8 hours in promoting it to get the REAL benefits from your blog.
  49.
  50. So lookout for ways to promote your content. I know there are a lot of promotion strategies out there (including social media, email, SEO, forum submission etc) but there are not highly effective if you’re a new blogger. Why? If you don’t have enough online connections, no one will share your stuff!
  51.
  52. Then what else can you do? How to get incoming links from other blogs and increase your social shares and blog traffic?
  53.
  54. Is there any simple technique that helps you bring more visibility to your blog posts?
  55.
  56. Yes, there is one.. “The Skyscraper technique”.
  57.
  58. What is The Skyscraper technique?
  59.
  60. Brian Dean first coined the phrase “Skyscraper technique”, It is in simple terms – “getting high quality backlinks and more social shares by creating content that is proven to be exceptional”.
