  1. LOCAL HERO SAVES DOZENS IN THE TIMES SQUARE MASACRE
  2.
  3. From the scene of yesterdays New York City terrorist attack, comes a remarkable story of a true modern hero.
  4.
  5. Proned behind a trash bin, Kevin surveyed the scene. Three heavily armed and dangerous terrorists, moving eastbound through central Times Square. He quickily estimated, 12 cassualties were occuring a minute. With loss of life this high, Kevin could not wait for backup and would have to act alone. And while out numbered, Bob knew he'd have the familiar advantage of surprise and his quick thinking.
  6.
  7. The terrorists were quickly moving, and for Kevin this meant a positive DTTI (delta time to intercept) or put more simply the longer he waited the harder it would be. The estimated time in the open, would already be an 4 arduous seconds. A number well above the typical 2 seconds he aims for. In the final moments of Kevin's WO (Window of Opportunity) his steady hands performed his ritualistic inventory check: Hand-cuffs. Check. Rope. Check. Rag. Check. Chloroform. Check. He was ready, and he was on the move.
  8.
  9. The danger was real -- but not entirely unfamiliar to Kevin, 40, a serial rapist and registered sex offender. Kevin declines to reveal how he took down the down the three armed terrorists -- for trade secret reasons, but what is clear that in the scuffle, Kevin did recieve multiple gun-shot wounds to the chest and arms. He is currently recovering in the Brooklyn hospital and remains upbeat, "Oh yeah, it definitely did hurt more than a bit of Pepper Spray or tasering -- but it is was absolutely worth it. I've always wanted to give back to society".
  10.
  11. Locals are calling Kevin a hero, but a humbled Kevin doesn't think so, "I don't think of myself as a hero, just a man at the right place at the right time, with the right skillset. I think most rapists would have done the same."
  12.
  13. Doctors say that Kevin should be back in his Suburbian home in a few days, and that he's wounds are healing remarkably fast. Kevin has been trying to avoid the limelight and publicity. "I appreciate the support I've recieved. But I would like to be left alone, it's really just not good for business. And I guess I'm just a bit disturbed about the lack of knowledge about rapists. Yo' know I've had at least a dozen attractive woman try offer themselves to me. And that's just not how we operate, and I would've liked to have thought people knew that."
