[15:14] <@esoRem|online> [You check the x-ray machine, make sure its working and feel pleased that nothings happened to the office.]
[15:15] <gordianStranger> [Thump a fist on the door when you find it, before opening it and moving on in. You're devoid of paint, and your implants have small, shiny metal caps over the screws so they won't catch on anything. Hands shoved in the pockets of your jacket, and you look somewhat impatient.]
[15:18] <@esoRem|online> [You turn and look at him. "Hello." You gesture to a raised seat. "If you don't mind sitting down we can get this over with quickly."]
[15:19] <gordianStranger> [Move over to the seat and sit on it. You peer around the room curiously, not paying all that much attention to Scott himself. The skin around the right implant is somewhat yellowy, the bruising just barely lingering. Rosewater ensured no scarring.]
[15:23] <@esoRem|online> [Theres cabinets full of stuff and you've recently installed an adjustable x-ray machine that hangs from the cieling. You've never actually used it, but you know how to work it. Beyond that theres a bed in a connecting room an a bookshelf full of journals and books.]
[15:24] <gordianStranger> ["Looks like a proper doctor's office and all," you comment. Your hands are still in your pockets.]
[15:25] <@esoRem|online> ["Yeah well, if I'm going to play the part, might as well do it properly." As you adjust the machine to get a view of Vrumed's head you start asking questions. "Any lingering headaches, dizziness, or anything like that?"]
[15:26] <gordianStranger> [Shake your head. "Head ached for a few days, but that's all gone now. Hurts if I poke it hard enough, but that's kinda a 'well duh'."]
[15:29] <@esoRem|online> ["mmm. Thats a good sign." You look a little closer at the wound itself, but theres nothing standing out to you. "Looks fine from here, but lets take a look at the skull itself. There might be a fracture."]
[15:29] <gordianStranger> [Eye the machine. "Cool."]
[15:32] <@esoRem|online> ["Try and hold still please." You start up the machine and grab a few images at different angle before heading over to the computer its hooked up to to look at the results.]
[15:33] <gordianStranger> [You stay pretty still while he does his work.]
[15:34] <@esoRem|online> ["Thank you, thats enough for now if you want to come and look." You're flipping through the images. Everything looks okay. No fractures or anything else out of the ordinary.]
[15:34] <@esoRem|online> [Well, except for the bloody screws in his head, but.]
[15:36] <gordianStranger> [Hop off the seat and go hover over his shoulder, looking at the x-rays. "Huh. That's pretty cool."]
[15:38] <@esoRem|online> ["Useful too." You flip through the images again, studying them for anything out of the ordinary. It takes you a few minutes before you speak again. "It looks like you got lucky. Nothing that looks wrong, but concussions and damage to the brain are areas that aren't fully known so I can't be sure. Nothing might happen, or something might pop up a month or a year from now, I just can't tell."]
[15:39] <gordianStranger> [Grin, rocking back on your heels. "Eh, if that happens then it happens, I'll deal with it then."]
[15:40] <@esoRem|online> ["Maybe. It very well could be something thats not easily dealt with. It could be anything from learning difficulties to completely losing your sense of balance to weariness that just makes you stop after moving for only an hour."]
[15:41] <@esoRem|online> ["But for now, you're good to go. I would highly recommend not damaging the area again. No telling what that'll do."]
[15:44] <gordianStranger> ["Well I didn't exactly plan on falling off a Roc the first time, I won't be looking to repeat the experience."]
[15:46] <@esoRem|online> ["Good. If you do start experiencing dizziness, nasuea, anything like that. Stop what you're doing and rest, aggravating it will only make it worse." You close out of the images and shut down the computer. "And try to eat balanced meals. The body is very good at repairing itself, but it does need the right food to do that."]
[15:47] <gordianStranger> ["Yeah, I know to eat my veggies." Flap a hand at him. "Think you could do a report to Kilika for me? Better to come from you than me."]
[15:48] <@esoRem|online> ["Yeah I'll talk to her." You want to give an accurate report anyways. You get the feeling that some details might be forgotten or overlooked otherwise.]
[15:49] <gordianStranger> ["Sweet. We done here, then?"]
[15:49] <gordianStranger> [Bounce slightly on your heels. You want to get your paints and horns back on, but you're not doing it in front of him.]
[15:50] <@esoRem|online> ["Yeah." You shift uncomfortably. "Look, I'm sorry for what I said. We're going to be spending the next however many months in the session together. I'd like it if we could atleast be civil to each other for the duration."]
[15:53] <gordianStranger> [You pause, and still a little. You watch him. Your face is carefully blank.]
[15:54] <@esoRem|online> ["You might not agree with what I do and I might not agree with what you do, but we're both trying to do right by our own standards." You're ernest and honest.]
[15:55] <gordianStranger> ["Y'ever been told over and over you're an idiot?"]
[15:55] <@esoRem|online> ["Numerous times."]
[15:57] <gordianStranger> ["And when it's for doing something so that you felt you needed to do, to feel right. And when an accident beyond your control ruined it." Stare at him.]
[16:00] <@esoRem|online> [You think about it before answering. "Yes to the first, but it is an...psychological or emotional "right" not a physical one. As for the second..." You look him in the eyes. "How do you think I feel knowing that no matter how much I tried to save someones life, no matter how much...temporary success I might achieve its all going to be for nothing?"]
[16:06] <gordianStranger> [Your mouth twists, not with any particularly positive or negative emotion. "I don't care quite so much about strangers as you do, but I can see how that'd make you feel pretty shit."]
[16:08] <@esoRem|online> ["Everyone is something to someone else." You say sadly. "If I can help them be with each other for a little longer then I will. The universe needs a little more happiness."]
[16:12] <gordianStranger> [You're quiet for a moment after he finishes talking. "The point I was trying to make," you say, with some firmness. "Is that I do not like being repeatedly berated for old mistakes. And when it's become part of your goddamn reputation, I get enough of it from strangers, without having clade remind me too."]
[16:18] <@esoRem|online> [You're surprised for a second at that, but you compose yourself quickly. "I...I can appreciate that. And I'm sorry for dragging it up, it won't happen again." You're quiet for a bit, thinking things through. "To be perfectly honest, its undeserved. You'd need to know quite a lot about biology to make a troll body from scratch."]
[16:20] <gordianStranger> [You nod. "Doesn't matter if I've got the power to make it happen, if I don't know what I'm making." Your voice is quieter, and a touch wistful. You turn towards the door, hands deep in pockets. "I got stuff to do. Seeya."]

[16:24] <@esoRem|online> [You watch him leave, a little curious. You didn't expect quite so much dialogue. You shake your head and clean up the office. Always more stuff to do.]
