We the denizens of Ventrilo, in order to create a more pleasant, peaceful and harmonious forum of communitation, to provide for digital liberty,
ensure comfort and security, and to facilitate our common causes do establish this constitution.



Article 1 Ventians' Rights
1.1 Guests shall have no rights.
1.2 All Ventians are equal under the law, and applies equally to all, save to the extent that objective differences justify differentiation.
1.3 No Ventian may take any action abridging freedom of speech
1.4 No Ventian may take any action abridging or preventing peacable assembly on any platform.
1.4 All Ventians can expect reasonable privacy in their endeavours.
1.5 No Ventian shall direct any fellow Ventian on any use of any service, save where there is an objective necessity for a cause of action, or in enforcing a provision of this constitution.

Article 2 Assignment of Executive Power
2.1 All executive power whether of ventrilo proper, or affiliated or attached gaming servers or other community accessable platforms shall be vested in the fee-payer of the relevant service.
2.2 Where multiple fee-payers of ventrilo proper, or affiliated or attached gaming servers, or other community accessable platforms, exist, executive power shall be divided between these parties proportionate to the percentage share of this platform.
2.3 Decisions made, where multiple Ventians hold excutive power, shall be reached by a majority. In order for a decision to be reached between multiple Ventians holding executive powers ('Officials'), a quorum of 75% must be reached.

Article 3 Exercise of Executive Power
3.1 Ventians at all levels must exercise the powers conferred on them  in good faith, fairly, and for the purpose for which the powers were conferred, without exceeding the limits of such powers, and not unreasonably.
3.2 No Ventian may arbitrarily exercise any power.
3.3 No ban placed upon a fellow Ventian save for breaching any provision of Article 1 or 4 or 5, and shall not exceed the maximum duration of 4 hours.
3.4 No encumbrance on the account of a fellow Ventian, namely mutes, shall exceed the maximum duration of 30 minutes.
3.5 No Ventian may usurp the powers, or excercise of power by a fellow Ventian, where said exercise is constitutional and proper.

Article 4 Ventian Code
4.1 All Ventians shall behave civilly to one-another.
4.2 All Ventians shall endeavour to have notice of the sensitivites of fellow Ventians
4.3 All Ventians shall endeavour to avoid the topics of politics and religion.
4.4 All ventians shall adhere to common curtesies, namely the greeting of joinees, the farewell of those leaving, and ommitting to broadcast over a fellow Ventian.
4.5 All Ventians shall ensure that any trolling of a fellow Ventian is brief in duration.

Article 5 Misc Provisions
5.1 Where possible, leave a man behind.
