AWS Setup for Combu

(Configure AWS firewall inbound SSH, HTTP & HTTPS)

apt-get update
apt-get install mc
apt-get install apache2
(visit your domain and check apache page)

apt-get install mysql-server
mysql_secure_installation
(enter password, choose N for password tool, N for change password, Y to everything else)

apt-get install php libapache2-mod-php php-mcrypt php-mysql
nano /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/dir.conf

<IfModule mod_dir.c>
    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.cgi index.pl index.xhtml index.htm
</IfModule>

systemctl restart apache2
nano /var/www/html/info.php

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

apt-get install sendmail
apt-get install phpmyadmin php-mbstring php-gettext

(use space to select apache 2 when prompted then tab to ok & hit enter)
(Select yes to dbconfig-common)
(enter your password twice)

phpenmod mcrypt
phpenmod mbstring
systemctl restart apache2

(use mc to chmod /var/lib/php/sessions to read by others and read by groups)

// if you cannot log in to myphp admin create a new user:
mysql
CREATE USER 'newuser'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON * . * TO 'newuser'@'localhost';
quit
