Alexithymiaa: -Adam stood up in his bedroom, his dufflebag open on his couch bed and half full of random assortments of clothes as he stuffed the bag in to particular order. His mind was clearly elsewhere, not paying much attention to what he was putting in the bag and only that he filled it and caught his plane tonight to head home and see his mother.-
Tsaaq: Her eyes looked up to the ceiling while she stood in the kitchen. She bit the inside of her cheek. Hayley walked up the stairs with a mug filled with black coffe, careful not to spill any of it. She reached the top and glanced at Adam a moment, watching him before making her presence known.
Alexithymiaa: (Wait, so did she make herself known yet, or no?)
Tsaaq: ((Nooo. She did not.))
Alexithymiaa: (Okay)
Alexithymiaa: -Letting out a deep sigh, he grabbed a handful of boxers from the open dresser drawer behind him, tossing them haphazardly into the duffle without looking. Feeling Lady nudge at his leg with her nose, he dropped his eyes to the dog, letting the weight of his hand fall onto her head for a little rub.-
Tsaaq: She sighed and cleared her throat audibly. "I brought you something to drink." Hayley said cautiously as she inched into his room.
Alexithymiaa: -He turned his head when he heard Hayley speak, forcing a smile onto his face, however cold and empty it might've been. "Oh, thank you. That was kind of you." He put his hand out for the mug, watching her face.-
Tsaaq: Hayley frowned as she went to hand him the coffee. "If you don't want it that's okay too." She said with a weak shrug. "Did you need any help packing or anything?" Hayley asked him.
Alexithymiaa: "No, I do want it." He brought the mug up to his lips to take a small sip before setting it down on top of his dresser. "I don't know... I don't really know what I need or how long I'm staying for..."-
Tsaaq: "Underpants is usually a good place to start." She tried to joke. "And a lot in case your there a while... But not enough that you'll have to check your bag." Hayley suggested, still giving him a worried glance.
Alexithymiaa: -He picked up the mug and took another sip, nodding his head. "I have those. And we have a washing machine so I can always wash things if I run out..." He trailed off, turning back to look at her.-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head. "That's true... I mean. Most of your clothes should be at home anyways, right?" She said awkwardly. "Um... Toothbrush?"
Alexithymiaa: "No, i took all my clothes with me here." The sad truth was that he didnt really own much to begin with. He started to nod his hand, wagging his finger at her. "Right. Toothbrush. I need to grab that from the bathroom."-
Tsaaq: "Ohh..." She trailed off. She went to look around his room then sputtered her lips softly. "And don't forget your medicine, or you important information for when you're in the airport."
Alexithymiaa: "I already packed that. And I keep my ID and stuff in my wallet." He nodded, turning to join in the looking around the room activity. "You're going to take good care of Lady, right?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley furrowed her eyebrows at him then nodded her head. "Of course I am. I'm not going to half ass it." She answered a little defensively.
Alexithymiaa: "I didn't think you would. But she needs lots of exercise because she gets restless if she doesn't. So if you're not up to running with her or anything like that, you can just take her to the park and throw the ball a bunch of times."-
Tsaaq: "I'll need the distraction... So I think I can manage just running around with her a whole bunch while you're gone..." She said as she looked over to him. "We'll probably do both."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm sure she'll appreciate that." He smiled, reaching over to take her hand. "You're going to be okay while I'm gone, right?"-
Tsaaq: She bit the inside of her cheek while thinking. "I should be okay." Hayley said to him before smiling a little then glancing down at their hands. "I just hope everything gets better I guess."
Alexithymiaa: "It will. It has to. It can only get better from here, right?" He asked gently, staring into her face.-
Tsaaq: Hayley gave a cautious nod of her head as she returned the stare. "I try to hope so." She said. "Just make sure you don't forget to keep me updated." She sighed a bit.
Alexithymiaa: "I will. The second I find out anything, I'll text you and let you know. Unfortunately Gabe didnt really have all that much information for me." His frown settled over his face, dropping his hands to his sides.-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head again then looked over to him. She bit the inside of her cheek at his expression. She went to wrap him up into a hug since she didn't really know how to comfort him any other way. "It can only get better, like you said."
Alexithymiaa: -He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her back, lowering his head to rest his cheek on the top of her head. "Yeah. I have to keep reminding myself."-
Tsaaq: "I'm here to remind you if you need me to." Hayley said as she rubbed his back as she just stood there with him. "And you'll get through this, we all will."
Alexithymiaa: "I know." He nodded, easing back away from her after their nice little hug. "I need to grab my toothbrush from the bathroom. I need to go soon." He turned to walk out of his bedroom, making his way across the house to the bathroom so he could grab his toothbrush. Turning to make his way back, he stopped into his room, kind of just laying it inside his bag.-
Tsaaq: She let her arms rest to her sides as he walked out of the room. Hayley sighed as turned once he returned. "I'll go with you to the airport." She said.
Alexithymiaa: "If you want, you can drive my truck and we can go together, and then you can just take the truck home so I don't have to call a cab?" He asked gently, unsure if she'd really want to be driving his truck around at all.-
Tsaaq: "That sounds good... I haven't driven in a while. It might calm my nerves." She said as she went to pat his duffle bag then went to give Lady some pats. "Are you ready to go?"
Alexithymiaa: (Pats for everyone)
Alexithymiaa: -He nodded and blew out a deep breath, leaning over to zip up the bag before lifting it off the bed and tossing it over his shoulder for easier carrying. "Yeah... I don't want to miss my flight."-
Tsaaq: She stood up straight and went to hold out her hand. "Then give me the keys Abs, and we'll be on our way as soon as possible." She said.
Alexithymiaa: -He dug into his pocket for the keys to his truck, holding them out to her before leaning down to give Lady some pets. "Be good for Hayley." He pushed back up to his feet before turning to head out of his bedroom, making his way to the stairs.-
Tsaaq: Hayley took the keys and began to make her way down the stairs. She sputtered her lips. "Don't worry about us. We'll take care of each other." She told him.
Alexithymiaa: -He followed her down to the first floor, stopping to turn to her so he could stroke his hand mockingly through her hair as well. "Be good for Lady." He spoke with a laugh before moving to the front door, pushing it open and stepping outside to make his way down to the truck to toss his bag into the back.-
Tsaaq: She rolled her eyes before chuckling. "You got it." She replied before running to the truck and pulling the door open as she sat in the driver's seat, waiting on him.
Alexithymiaa: -Making sure his bag was secure in the truck, he turned and walked to the passenger side, climbing inside. "It's weird to be on this side."-
Tsaaq: She turned her head as she put the keys in the ignition. "Ditto." She sighed as she revved up the engine and checked all the mirror things. "Well... Guess it's time to go." She sighed. Hayley leaned over to give Adam a quick kiss on the lips then put her hands on the steering wheel, she sighed again.
Alexithymiaa: -He leaned over to kiss her back before settling in his seat. "Yeah.. time to go..." He spoke with a small sigh before turning to glance out the window.-
