Experience with season passes

Out of all the season's passes I've personally bought I've only got burnt on 1 out of the 3.

Mario Kart 8: I thought was an typical DLC which was what made this really good was the price. $8 per pack or $12 for both which imo is an extremely good deal for the content in it.

Gears of War 3: Fantastic DLC imo. Was a typical shooter season pass but also came with an entirely new campaign almost as long as the one already in the game. The season pass was $30 while each pack on it's own was $45

Gears of War 4: Since the other two were both good here comes the negative one. Basically all the content in the season pass is free anyways with online maps cycling every month. They have updated it to make things more worth it but really it's just them giving you 1 free micro-transaction a week. All you are getting is access to maps early for a week and the game itself for 4 days lol. You also got one of the $20 airdrops and a couple exlusive skins. For private games with friends you also get access to every map. This season pass is $40 if you buy it bundled with the game or $50!!! on it's own. They are planning on adding 24 maps over 1 year. So far there are 2 new maps and 6 remakes 1 of which is a different version of a map from Gears of War 4 itself. Biggest joke ever.
