Jack had taken care of Cat's wound as best as he was able in the circumstances, and had hidden her unconscious form inside one of the clothing stores nearby the center of the mall where they'd first encountered the AP. So far, things had been quiet here, only the sound of his own breathing or the short chatter on the comm line of his companions interrupting the silence. He took a moment to check in again with Kinnerman, making sure to meet their 5 minute deadline, and wondered just where the woman was going to strike next...
**Rogue AP** For those who had followed her path on security cameras, her madwoman had seemed to be marching right for Erran and Emily approaching from the other direction. Almost as if she knew they were coming, it seemed, but such wasn't the case. She did, however, know one of the few locations in the entire mall where one could watch the camera feeds. With no warning there was a sudden flash, and once more she had vanished. Only from the screens though. Her first guess had been right, and landed her right inside the room where Ruby and Christal lurked. "Boo!" she cried, and began to laugh...and open fire. Her hand had pointed right at Ruby, and a loud CRACK! accompanied five metal spikes shot at almost ballistic speeds!

The hand to the shoulder causes her to jump slightly, that wasn't expected and it does indeed leave Em with a reddening face. It can't be helped, shyness doesn't stop just because there is a matter of life and death to be looked at, nope. "T-thanks," And...really, Snow Rabbit? Oh! Oh, how Em wants to get upset and correct him but doesn't. Just be like Elsa and let it go. Anyways, standing outside, both eyes are focused and guard is up. "Everything is under control out here. Erran i-is well..i-inside a-and I-I'm standing g-guard..o-outside. E-everything is clear," Then hearing Ruby over the comm, Em stiffens up and gets ready to throw up a shield should it be needed, "G-got it, o-on alert," Ruby is responded too. One leg moves to the front and her stance lowers while both arms are pulled back. Ready to throw up a shield...chocolate optics trained on the halls ready and waiting for the attack that will never come.

was suprised when the woman vanished from the feed, but even more so when she heard the woman. She had just enough time to kick Little Blue's chair out from under him and flip the table the blueprints were on. She ducked behind it just as the spikes grazed her flesh at the right bicep. she hissed through her teeth at the pain, and kicked at the table, it would head straight for the rogue, and if she were too slow, it would slam into her with great force.

There was a silent curse as Erran finally gained access to the feed, and his eyes switched over to where Ruby and Christal were located. Turning on his heel, he moved towards the door and opened it. "She's with them," he informed Emily. Gesturing for her to follow him, he would swiftly make his way towards the rest of the squad. "If you can't bubble us all, focus on saving yourself and the other two; I can handle a bit on my own."

heard the voice, his eyes sinking. Before he could even react, he was suddenly on the floor, hiding behind the table with Nightingale right next to him. His heart rate had been slowing, but it was going back up again. Damn it...Damn it. She was here. She came for them first. It figures...Of course. The intel. If that was taken out, they wouldn't have a way to track her movements anymore. He'd shake his head side to side. He'd see Nightingale kicking the table. As all of this happened...He'd realize that, in order to remotely stand a chance in this situation, he'd absolutely have to focus his aura again. He'd close his eyes, about to do so...Until suddenly, he'd get an idea. He'd remember when he burnt the floor so hard with his rage's aura flame. It was creating smoke...And thus, that set off the sprinkler. Maybe if he-...No, that wouldn't work. They were in a maintenance room. Also...[C]
Could he really hope to burn something fast enough to create a thick smoke? He'd have to try and think about what his options were in a very limited time frame. He'd snarl at the female before them, remembering what she did to him. His aura glowed once more, burning the ground once again.[E]

Shit! Jack heard the distant sound of the AP's attack going off from his place at the door to the store, where he could keep an eye on the halls and Cat at the same time. He glanced now at the young woman, and was torn. As much as he hated the idea of leaving her, of maybe losing yet another one, Jack had been in this program for a long time now. That training, the conditioning...really his brainwashing kicked it and he wasn't ready to try to fight that too; the mission was his priority. Leaving his fallen comrade he set off running for the others as fast as he could...
**Rogue AP** The woman grunted as the table crashed into her and she went down bruised. Yet, she was up again as fast as she could, favoring her right leg. "Is this the best you can offer these days?" she asked mockingly. Her eyes were lit with the force of the her power. "I'd expected better out of the AP Special Forces." Even as the heat began to pick up in the room, she raised her hand towards Christal, new nails, even longer now sliding into place. She had started to support her arm with her other hand, the weight of those terrible spikes was growing fast. Wind seemed to stir around her, and she too had an aura now, one that would have been plain to anyone - normal human, AP, one could feel her Anomaly expanding. So far she hadn't seemed to lose control, and like all of them the more she pushed the more power she gained...but greater the risk too. CRACK!!! Once again, she fired.


EM

Running is something that Em was never really good at even when it comes time to crack down. This is one of those flaws that has to be lived with...but this doesn't mean that Em can't haul ass when need to. The commotion is heard through the comm."G-guys, w-we are umm...c-coming," Yes, it is assumed that the AP is with them,given the comm and being able to hear the fight through it. Following behind Erran, Em just stares at his back and answers. "No, i-if I-I c-can't shield a-all of you, then y-you all n-need to leave. I-I'll b-be alright," Besides...they have more use. More to add to defense. Shhh, don't think like that Em. Just keep focused and trained on the target goal. Each step felt like it was getting closer to their goal. Make sure that everyone is safe.
