  19. How many ways are there to say 'and then I exterminated the entire Admirality'? Because that was pretty much what I did, because these motherfuckers are so edgy that they cut themselves if they turn too quickly. I don't know exactly how it is that this universe diverged from the main timeline at a point prior to when the main timeline interacted with it. Oh, I know when the supposed divergent point was, but let's be real here: something, somewhere, diverged prior to that point.
  20.
  21. Probably due to time travel after the diverging point changing something prior to that.
  22.
  23. God, time is a pain in my ass.
  24.
  25. In any event, though; Nero inexplicably blamed me for the destruction of Romulus. "But that literally did not happen in the timeline I'm from," I said. "It's still your fault," he said, and found a ship full of Augments, thawed them out and worked together. One of them inexplicably knew what I had at my disposal and thought he could somehow overcome it.
  26.
  27. Because, you know, any random person can overcome a dyson sphere with a population in the hundreds of billions, while I personally have technology that runs on completely different principles, not to mention magic.
  28.
  29. I could detail the epic battle. It could probably even work nicely for a movie trilogy. But in the end? It didn't happen. Because time travel saw me go back to the moment that Nero's ship came through the rift, only to see explosions ripple across it and collapse into a singularity.
  30.
  31. It was written off as a bizarre anomaly, and the lens flare verse never happened at all.
