(10:16:58 PM) Lucky: You all find yourselves standing at the gate to a very peaceful looking temple. Vines are growing up and down the sides of the walls and at your feet sits a small foo dog.
(10:17:10 PM) Lucky: He looks at you all for a moment, as if sizing you up. The gate opens, and you are all led inside. Once inside the temple the dog sits before you.
(10:17:23 PM) Lucky: "So, tell me, how did you get here?" The dog asks.
(10:17:34 PM) Lucky: [The goal here is to make up how you found yourself at the gate. Make it as long or short as you like.]

And what did you know, I was vibrating the tone associated with the solar plexus chakra when the noble fellow lumbered out of his hollow and stole my sandwich!"

(10:21:08 PM) Zuki: "Didn't find him, the dratted little bugger. Did find you. Do you have sandwiches?"
(10:21:19 PM) Raire: Well... to be honest I kind of just came across it? I've been travelling for a few weeks trying to do a quick microsurvey of the surrounding fauna and possibly figure out if I can identify the basic niches and taxonomy of the surrounding animals!
(10:21:36 PM) Lucky: The dog shakes his head. "Sorry, I don't have any sandwiches."
(10:21:37 PM) Raire: But I love architecture too, so when I came across this, I knew I had to come in

(10:22:08 PM) ***Zuki grins winningly. "You're an anthropologist. Isn't it important to treat the beliefs of others in a respectful and understanding manner, in such a field?"
(10:22:23 PM) Zuki: "Perhaps nature spirits aren't real, but what does my belief in them tell you about my culture?"
(10:22:23 PM) Zerovirus: Yeah, as a general rule, when you're exploring an area and you discover a plot hook in the shape of an ancient temple to powers unknown to man the thing to do is to take the adventure hook for the wild ride it promises, no?

(10:22:52 PM) Raire: That was partly my reasoning too - you don't just ignore the vine covered temple you weren't expecting

(10:23:09 PM) Lucky: The dog grins. "Well then. Aren't you an interesting lot!"
