- The largest snowstorm of the last decade was on route to come by tomorrow. Lucky me, I couldn’t leave my secluded cabin early. I had bought it off to use as a second home and for possible excursions. I had it equipped with a generator, loaded with furniture, and made it feel very rustic (aside from the tv & PS4). Sure, there was no internet connection, but you can’t have it all.
- I planned a trip for a week for New Years, and had gotten reports of the storm on the second day. By then, the conditions on the trails were already too bad to leave. So I was stuck.
- I used my last good day outside before the storm to grab last minute firewood, the logs in the storeroom wouldn’t last long. Gear equipped, I made my way out the side door, which had been long since broken.
- “I ought to fix that.” I thought to myself. I trudged my way through the snow, axe in hand, ready to chop down the mightiest tree I could find.
- Man, I was getting good at being a lumberjack. The large Cedar Oak only took around 1/2 an hour to get down by hand. Still, I had to cut it up into bits.
- I made my way back in the storeroom through the broken door. I swear I closed it... maybe it was the wind. After setting the wood down, I took a mental note of what I all had. Water tanks, first aid kits, more firewood, unusable camping gear, tools, a Jinko-
- Wait what
- There she was, just sitting there. Tucked away in the corner behind a few boxes of food. When the hell did she get here?
- The first thing that I noticed straight off the bat was just how tall she was. Even though she sat idly with her legs pressed up against her chest, her knees went up past my waist. Secondly; she was in horrible shape. Not in the sense she was fat, the opposite was true. She was bare bones. Although I could see she had abs, I could also see her ribs.
- The most alarming part though were her injuries and condition. Her left shin was bruised and swollen, leaving her leg bent at an angle. She had a black eye with a long gash running through it, she’s definitely blind there. Her toned abs peeked out through a small, torn bra. It was stained with dried blood, scars were all over her body.
- I saw each gasp of breath come out as a puff in the frigid air. Her paws cradled her body, her white fur hopefully giving her warmth. Although, I wasn’t 100% certain it was white, as several layers of mud and blood had soaked into it.
- All I could do for a moment was stare at the Jinko in front of me, pondering how she hadn’t died yet. She was there, sitting in pain, but I was hesitant. Jinkos are known to be predatory... what would she do if she woke up? Then another thought crossed my mind; She came in for a reason. If she could be so taught about herself, why would she be huddling down like this?
- After a few seconds, I decided to leap into action. Her exposed skin was freezing, frostbite already taking place. Whatever, I placed my arms around her back and under her legs, making sure to be as careful as possible. Lifting her up in the air, she was surprisingly lighter than what I thought, but still a heavy load. Now, warm her up, or patch her injuries?
- I carried her to my small bathroom and laid her down in a tub. I tore off the tattered rag that she had covering her. I was met with a pair of breasts flopping out, each about the size of a melon. The main eye catcher was the giant scar running from her nipple to her belly button.
- Although it wasn’t bleeding, the outside was surrounded by dirt and dry blood. Now things felt serious. First things first, clean her body.
- Using a spare towel, some hand soap, & water from the tanks, I scrubbed off the dry dirt from her body. I did my best to not ogle too much at the naked woman in front of me. When I reached her injured leg, I left it be. Didn’t want to end up hurting her more by mistake.
- Next, find a way to cover her wounds. Umm... Oh, first aid kits! Antiseptic applied around her wounds, wrap her torso in gauze & bandages, and ended up with a make-shift eyepatch for her black eye.
- That was enough for now, I could tell she was starting to warm up, but was still cold to the touch. Picking her up again, I headed to the living room, the fireplace still lit. I put her on the couch, pushed the couch closer, covered her in blankets, and sat next to her side for the rest of the day.
- Would she even survive? She was breathing, but was in horrible shape.
- Would she attack me? She came into the cabin, but is a predator.
- What should I do with her? I patched her up, but lord knows if it’s worse than it looks.
- Well, time would tell. All I could do was sit back, watch her unconscious body, hoping for a miracle.
