  1. Dev -- Who will know? Adsila’s Trial, Final Growth
  2.
  3. [11:11] Looking at Myrrah, he would stay clear of her, not wanting to interrupt her meditation and focus.. Instead, Orion would take notes of her progress, and even adding on a new theory to his project...
  4.
  5. "Being so close to the Ocean, I wonder, with this large body of water, can I conduct multiple experiments? Of course but the true question is if it'll be more of a success than using the waterfall within the Glade..."
  6.
  7. He turns his eyes to Myrrah, "As she meditates, trying to establish a connection with the stars, our children lie dormant within her belly...Waiting to take their first few breaths into this world...She will succeed, that I know, she has the will of her ancestor, Ono.."
  8.
  9. Staring into the water, he would place his hands onto the cliff's edge, he then began to channel his mana to travel downwards... Orion had a profound grasp over the use of water and by doing so, he could link his mana from where he was and into the larger body of water.
  10.
  11. His mana, his water magic ran down the cliff like a long rope with the markings of glyph within it.. He soon would make the attempt to channel those glyph properties into the water, trying to forge a water skurn from what materials he's obtained... Even though it would be difficult, he made this attempt as a training session, to see where he's been failing at.
  12.
  13. The water didn't even seem to budge, was he lacking in skill? Or was he too high up? This was a sloppy example of how he could conduct the project... Perhaps on a later day, when he was well rested could he try again and maybe even succeed in creating a water skurn.
  14. (Orion Sinclair)
  15.
  16.
  17.
  18. Later that weekend...
  19.
  20. [21:51] Orion looks at his fellow Glade members, nodding his head towards them, smiling with a welcoming grin, he'd look up to Adsila…
  21.
  22. "Well, the project... I may need your guidance once more, I've just learned that these beings... They're neither Sentient nor are they puppet's, and in order to forge them correctly, I need a true understanding of nature... Will you show me, how is it you control your vines?"
  23.
  24. He asked with a curious raise of his eye brow, brushing his hair back, he'd show Adsila a few of his notes... Though these were known as Skurn, he had no official name for them other than being called Sentinel's... He had rarely ever saw these beings, but from the looks of his experiments, he was closer to achieving such than anything else.
  25.
  26. "If I am to forge an army for the Glade from these beings... I want to understand them, not view them as puppet's... Does this look familiar to you?" He'd show her a sloppy sketch of a skurn forged from the water.
  27. (Orion Sinclair)
  28.
  29.
  30. [21:51] Adsila Coaxoch asks, "Mm... A skurn?"
  31. [21:52] Kyrstina scratches behind her ear nearvously.
  32. (Kyrstina)
  33.
  34.
  35. [21:53] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Krystina, Myrrah. See to this matter, please. Orion, stay for the time being whilst we discuss this."
  36. [21:53] Myrrah Sinclair says, "Yes..."
  37. [21:53] Kyrstina nods and shares a look with Myrrah before heading out.
  38. (Kyrstina)
  39.
  40.
  41. [21:53] Myrrah Sinclair says, "Let's go Kyrstina"
  42. [21:57] The avatar nods as she looks over the poorly drawn picture of the skurn, ripping the paper from the notebook, though delicately, she carefully redraws the skurn, with a number of details and such related to the proper manifestation of such a thing. She was incapable of summoning one herself, though she was capable of summoning many other things, thus the notes may help.
  43.
  44. As she completes this, she turns, and places the drawing of the skurn upon one of the shrines, pinning it there with a small vine and thorn.
  45.
  46. "I can teach you how to grow things, indeed. Complexity comes in variation however. I ask you first to grow any plant of your choice."
  47.
  48. The avatar would give Orion a simple seed.
  49.
  50. "Grow this, and care for it. Return to me when it is fully bloomed, and I will continue the lesson."
  51. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  52.
  53.
  54. [21:57] Orion Sinclair asks, "Hm?"
  55. [22:03] Eccentric Song whispers something.
  56. [22:03] His peridot hues settled upon the seeds, Orion reaches out to grab ahold of it, wondering how it would help him grow a skurn… But that's when he came down to the conclusion..
  57.
  58. "To forge life, I must first know how to raise it from the very basics huh?"
  59.
  60. He looked up to Adsila, now wondering just where he would be able to plant such a thing, he's never gardened a day in his life but today... This young knight would learn the ropes, and so he proceeds to speak to his beloved mother.
  61.
  62. "I suppose, this will open my mind, to not focus on the science and listen to the spirituality huh?..."
  63.
  64. He paused, and chuckled for a moment, "I also wanted to share some news with you, it seems I've gained a reputation in a number of lands haha, I didn't expect this... I'm not the strongest man, it's nothing I deserve to walk around with, 'Hero of Glade'." He speaks with a calm and passive tone, being recognized for his feats and saving a few women, assisting foreign lands with their issues of crime.
  65.
  66. (Orion Sinclair)
  67.
  68.
  69. [22:03] Alexandrea Song says, "Your friends are assholes, Orion."
  70. [22:03] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Everyone is an asshole in their own respects, Alexandrea."
  71. [22:08] The avatar appears to be lost in thought for a moment.
  72.
  73. "Simple things once thought easy oft you will find more complicated than one originally anticipates."
  74.
  75. "You are something special, Orion, as all Gladelings are. You define yourself through trials, and as a result, you have a following. Use your following in the way you see fit, following the Gladed Path."
  76.
  77. She nods.
  78.
  79. "Doubtless it will come to Gladelings fighting Gladelings, though in war I forgive such. Faith and belief are key to our way of life, and I expect those who follow the path to fight for their beliefs."
  80.
  81. "You're doing me proud, Orion, and I thank you for this. Your actions honor me."
  82. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  83.
  84.
  85. [22:09] {Item} You picked up Sugarcap Seeds. Dropped by Adsila Coaxoch. .
  86. [22:15] Orion smiles at Adsila, he took a moment to ponder about the future as he always done, always looking into the past, present and what is to come.. He didn't go out to try and summon these Sentinels or rather these skurn for nothing... He foresaw events, and by preparing for such, only made him prepare for more..
  87.
  88. "I have a Solemn Request... If I am to meet an untimely end, and Myrrah is not around, or anyone I'd trust for that matter... I'd like for you, to pass my journal onto the descendants of my bloodline... This journal, my secrets will give them the edge to surviving in this land, the key to my project and hidden abilities..." He'd speak in a soft tone for Adsila to hear.
  89.
  90. He moved onto another topic... "But there is one other thing... Shu, of the western settlement... She seems to be, pushing the whole notion of order quite strongly... Some have grown concerned of it, so I took my leave for that time, as we both know... Order and Chaos can be quite troublesome if one exist without the other to hold a balance..."
  91.
  92. Orion gazed at the seed... He had to take his mind away from such topics regarding the affairs of other nations, but he felt the need to warn those he cared for.
  93.
  94. "Such a little thing, brings much beauty and life to this world... A chain of life, a child of the lifestream.."
  95. (Orion Sinclair)
  96.
  97.
  98.
  99. [22:20] The avatar nods warmly.
  100.
  101. "I am honored to assist you in this matter, Orion."
  102.
  103. She pauses.
  104.
  105. "I will pass it on to your ancestors, proudly."
  106.
  107. The avatar would sigh, though this would be marked through the flow of a small breeze through the windows.
  108.
  109. "You are free to follow whatever path you see fit, even should this take you down the arcane path of order, so long as your remember balance is key. The Gladed Path is unique in this."
  110.
  111. She nods.
  112.
  113. "Seeds are the origin of so many great things, Orion. All things have an origin point."
  114. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  115.
  116.
  117. [22:22] He'd speak, almost a whisper, "The Golden Ratio of Life."
  118.
  119. Orion nods to his mother, knowing full well to not bow but to look to her as an equal within their home, within their forest, their Glade!
  120.
  121. "I must go now, Myrrah's brother has been strange, so I need to help him."
  122. (Orion Sinclair)
  123.
  124.
  125. [22:22] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Understood."
  126. [22:22] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Good luck, Orion."
  127. [22:23] Orion Sinclair says, "Thank you mother, and take care."
  128.
  129.
  130. Later that same day…
  131. [03:07] Though the hour was growing late, young Orion made his way up towards his own hut, and there he would take the seed given to him by mother Adsila… "If I am to summon these so called...'Skurn'... I must follow mothers instructions, to learn from the balances of nature and utilize them as best as I could."
  132.
  133. He would dig a small hole, placing the sugarcap mushroom seed into the soil, then after such he would pour some water onto the spot where the seed was planted... Orion thought more about it for a moment, he saw that skurns were not just puppets, he knew this but now he saw them as other mortals..
  134.
  135. Beings that would have to be raised and nurtured, even though they were not too sentient, they would hold a mind and will strong enough to allow them to fight for their master... Orion took a keen note on this, making him smile even at the thought of a new life being forged anew.
  136.
  137. "Grow my children... Become a silver from your simple base Orion, become great.." he whispers to the seeds he'd plant... This note was crucial for his development in the creation of water or nature skurns for the Glade.
  138. (Orion Sinclair)
  139. .
  140. [23:24] Upon the seventh day, Orion made a casual trip to his garden just outside of his hut, with a solemn stare at the little sprout, he smiled. He was delighted to see such progress being made, the little seedling growing into something greater than what it was before.
  141.
  142. Of course this was part of the lesion that Adsila wanted to teach Orion, something valuable, something natural, a new way for him to respect the boundaries of nature and all that was dear to it. Like an old man upon a farm, he waited, day by day, night by night, season by season, watering the little plant, watching it grow.
  143.
  144. During his months of caring for the little plant, this sugar cap mushroom, he took notes of something else. The body of what a skurn truly was, and how he would be able to nurture it, to bring it up and forge a great entity out of it. The young Gladed Knight had but one solemn wish, to provide the Glade with a set of proper guardians.
  145.
  146. All of which would be under the control of his bloodline, and so he would begin sketching prototypes of the mark he desired to use as a control method to make the skurn bend to his will. His first drawing of the Sinclair’s Volition was a simple one, the arts of the Glyph language with two symbols which resembled that of an ‘S’ and ‘V’ crossed together. With this, he would make a sloppy sketch of a water Skurn, blue in color, and even some green to resemble the beauty that is Mother Nature….
  147.
  148. “Grow, my little child o’ nature…” He spoke to the plant, picturing it as he would a skurn, something that must be raised properly. Fed and cared for, he would have to see these beings as children of himself and the Glade, fellow products of nature much like this blooming seed, growing into this world of agony… But Orion would not let it know tragedy, only blessing it with a life of bliss and a peaceful melody coming from himself…
  149.
  150. After all, the best way to care for a plant is to speak to it, allowing such carbon dioxide to seep into its being. From that moment on, Orion pondered about the subject, coming up with a new theory, to slowly grow these skurn instead of trying to bring them up so abruptly… To take his time, to learn from them and to finally meet his end-game and raise them to become the Sentinel’s of the Glade.
  151.
  152. One particular note, consisted of a new Glyph Formula, one of both ancient words and the proper calculations of his theory. The Golden Ratio of Mana was displayed upon paper as the following:
  153.
  154. 'Merging Trio'
  155. 'Rising Fuana'
  156. 'Growing Flora'
  157. 'Forging Fyre'
  158. 'Sacred Guardian'
  159. 'Thousand Year Tradition'
  160. 'Defender of oaths'
  161. 'Fellowship'
  162. 'Clarity the Heart'
  163. 'Shape of Elements'
  164. 'Forbidden Obelisk'
  165. 'Golden Ratio'
  166. 'Ocean of Time'
  167. 'Sinclair's Volition'
  168.
  169. A+B over A = A(M-20) over B(S-7) = Def, Φ Symbol if Phi
  170. Φ Phi= 1 + 5 over 2 Sin equaling out to 1.6180339887, which in term, after a deeper calculation of mana, energy, runes plus glyph has taken place, it translate to the finalization of F Phi-Inf.
  171.
  172. This formula was that of the Golden Ratio, his theory on how mana could exist within Non-Sentient Beings, those who hold their own mana and are under the control of another mana source after being given life by that same control rune.
  173.
  174.
  175.
  176. “We’re all children of nature… We don’t exactly know who we are until we’ve sailed upon the Ocean of Time… Mortal…Angel, Demons, all the same, but with very different destinies… So what am I, what will this skurn be? Are we both seen as simple mortals?.... Neigh, I’d like to think of us as Angels of the Sea, allies to the home of nature, no, children o’ nature…”
  177.
  178. Orion then would pour a little more water onto the plant, his work place FILLED with sketches and little diagrams… Drawing of how the skurn and the symbol he would pass down for generations will look. Diagrams and charts to calculate just how much mana and what ingredients should be poured into the creation of a skurn… The young Knight was not a brute, he was quite the opposite, always making plans, always working on the next big project…
  179.
  180. This little project, this simple task, it made him happy, it opened his eyes to the laws of nature… Never to tamper with it too much, but give a helping hand to make things better. Do all that you can to become a friend of nature, never an enemy to that which created you. To help bring new life into the world, lifting it from the abyss of darkness, shining new light upon it and all the lands.
  181.
  182. “Let us sail… Upon the Ocean of Time…”
  183.
  184.
  185. (Orion Sinclair)
  186.
  187.
  188.
  189. [15:26] Orion did his daily routine ever since the guidance of Adsila took place, going around watering the crops. He'd look back, offering a kind wave to Reva and his friend, but alas, his attention would re-focus on the crops.
  190.
  191. "Slowly but surely, all things grow, reaching their full potential..." He then hums to himself, speaking only to himself and the plants, because everyone knows plants love it when you speak to them. As the human body gives off much carbon dioxide when exhaling.
  192. (Orion Sinclair)
  193.
  194. [15:34] Wiping the sweat off of his head, young Orion pants but only a little bit, gazing at the midday sun, that horizon. He'd smile, proud of what he's done, proud of what he may accomplish within the future... He stared out and then he would turn around, seeing the two still talking, and as for him.
  195.
  196. Well.
  197.
  198. He would mind his own business of course, setting out to journey to city of crafthold in order to find a meal with what little time he had on his daily schedule.
  199.
  200. "Mother, I'm sure you'd be proud of these crops... But now I grow curious of my friends, those foreigners of the western-settlement...Hm..."
  201.
  202. Orion sighed, but not out of distress, no he was confident in their strengths, but he wished that he could say the same for his homeland...With everyone under the protection of himself and Alexandrea, he felt as though peace times have gotten to them, causing many to slack.
  203. (Orion Sinclair)
  204.
  205. Upon a new week...
  206.
  207. [09:38]
  208.
  209. Upon the tenth day, or rather what would seem like the 40th due to the shift in time and pacing? Orion walked outside to see the little sprout now fully grown… His days of research has been quite fruitful in the upcoming months… His time well invested as he used almost every second to make sure the little sugar cap mushroom would blossom correctly.
  210.
  211. Such care was given to it as if it were a child, much like how he would have to when he continues the practice of summoning skurn. In fact this training was just for that, for him to understand that water skurn were like all other things, like flowers which you plant and help to grow. And although this was just a trial, this little bit of training, it changed him for the better, making him more adept to the laws of nature, making him more of a man with a sense keen to balance.
  212.
  213. “Soon, you will be visited by mother Adsila,” said Orion as he would adjust the parts of his hair, tying it up in a pony-tail as he would continue to tend to the plant. He didn’t cut any parts off of it, simply plucked the dirt off and watered it once more as he did three days prior to this very day. He felt relaxed, and now his new theory of the water skurn was coming together, like puzzles upon a table, he’d assemble each piece slowly over time and now, it felt as if he had a few of the final pieces.
  214.
  215. He now fully understood… Magic, and science do not truly mix, and that water skurns, are not tools of destruction. Though they may misbehave, it would simply be out of their abilities to protect themselves. To understand them, you must understand the very basics of life and as well as the hidden secrets that all beings live differently… And even though they were only semi-sentient, Orion would give them the respect they deserve…
  216.
  217. As children of nature, or rather, his children of the sea as well, those he’d raise from the Ocean of Time. “Mother, I finally… I finally understand the meaning behind the Gladed Way…” Orion spoke with a calm expression as the passing winds brushes up against his figure, his gaze settled upon the waterfall and the little pond before him.
  218.
  219. He would take a knee, placing his right hand flat upon the water, his eyes closed and focused, not on runes, not on his self but rather with the focus on nature and all that comes with it naturally. Like a melody playing within his mind, a slight whistle is produced by the shaking trees. The waterfall ever moving, creating ripples within the pond, and the fish, constantly swimming around, always moving forward even if they were going within a large circle.
  220.
  221. “Today… We sail upon that horizon,” said Orion… The young Gladed Knight would begin to pour his energy into the water as well as his mana. In turn, this would slowly begin to cause shape to the water as it is his natural affinity, he would raise it, slowly but surely, adding in the features of a skurn, but not by himself. No, he would begin to call forth those properties of nature, to rather summon a skurn from the remnant spiritual energies of the sea.
  222.
  223. What did this mean? It meant that his original theory was wrong and that the teachings of Adsila were more than right if he continued to follow her guidance… He would not chant, no, his focus was of a serene state, his mind only concentrating on the gathering of natural energy. The gathering of mana from himself to materialize a part of himself into a newly forged life, the being of a water skurn, summoned from the very womb of nature itself.
  224.
  225. He began to sweat from the amount of sheer concertation, from pouring in so much of his energy and mana... And although his rune upon his hand was a little help, the mark of the ‘Sinclair’s Volition’ was only there for the purpose of controlling the skurn, WHEN IT WAS FORGED. But as it stands right now, the young Knight struggled with the task…
  226.
  227. Water was rising, slowly taking form, but splashing about as the wild mana influence of nature caused it to do so. Like a new-born child or even a wild animal, this prototype skurn acted solely upon instinct, nothing more, and nothing less with a body that was only half way made.
  228.
  229. It would continue to struggle, but as Orion poured more of his energy into the creation of the being. It began to ease down, settling in one spot, making itself float over the very water itself… This was the start of a new beginning, of a new journal entrée for both him and the Glade… The skurns body was coming together, its shape finally forming into that of the beast it was meant to be.
  230.
  231. The water skurn would roar a ferocious cry, not for battle but for the gain of new life. Firing a beam of water into the air, only to be stopped by the control rune marked on Orion’s right hand… He’d continue to focus, now only pouring all of such mana into his ability to keep the skurn at bay, to make sure it would not roam about all willy nilly. Because if anything were to happen to the Glade, he would probably be the first to blame…
  232.
  233. But as it stood, right now, Orion would examine the creature, continuously pouring his energy into both the control rune and the body of the skurn. “This… Is nothing that was meant to be easy…” He spoke to himself and the Skurn.
  234.
  235. The water entities body began to turn solid, as if it had its own thin layer of blue skin, its eyes a bright yellow and at its core, a diamond shaped piece, one that would be its core, branding the symbol of the Sinclair bloodline… THIS was the water skurn Orion had dreamt of, this was the purpose of Adsila’s training, and THIS was what Orion had dreamt to do ever since his discovery of guardians when under Eccentric Song.
  236.
  237. He was never, ever destined to be a merchant, he was always destined to be this creator of guardians, a keeper of the piece who saw the potential in others. Someone who, like Adsila would raise all of those within the Glade without bias, without prejudice, without the ideals of Order and Chaos tormenting their souls of a higher judgement.
  238.
  239. Soon after the skurn was fully created, it not being able to hover around on its own, loyal to the mark of the Sinclair’s Volition. It would simply float about and stare at Orion, its fallen and fatigued master, now on the ground and struggling to even breathe. Orion chuckled, looking up to his creation, after years of attempting to perfect the art, this attempt felt like the closest he’d ever get to truly creating the perfect Sentinel’s for the Glade.
  240.
  241. “And so, starts the dawn of a new beginning… Mother, and everyone else in the Glade…. I may not be your King, but I shall serve you as one, fair and benevolent, a man of virtue, leadership and who will always grant you the protection you’ll need…. I am, Orion Sinclair, the Gladed One… Master to the Ocean of Time…”
  242.
  243. He spoke with a sense of pride, now looking back at the sugar cap mushroom, the very plant given to him as a seed by Adsila... He would smile at it, “Thank you...” Orion spoke with a higher sense of gratitude, feeling as if the plant was the answer all along to his biggest project.
  244.
  245. As if he should listen to the forces of nature, not just his mind and historical theories or facts. No, this little adventure, this little trial given to him by the mother of nature, the queen of the forest, his mother, Adsila…
  246.
  247. This task, has not only given him the answer he needed but it has also shaped him, from a man looking to find the ultimate weapons of destruction in case of war time. To someone who understands the boundaries of nature, and utilizing his connection with such to call upon aid rather than force it out. This truly was a bizarre adventure, all of such, led to the ultimate connection and made a full circle, this was a true roundabout path, this trial of Adsila.
  248.
  249. (Orion Sinclair)
  250.
  251.
  252.
  253. [03:49] Finally after a long few months and many days of watering crops and trying to take the proper care needed to make sure his plants would grow all nice and strong. Orion Sinclair would harvest the little sugar cap mushroom, taking it into his hands with a gentle grip, he knew that Adsila would want to see it as proof of him succeeding in her trial.
  254.
  255. "I did it, I actually did it.." He said to himself as he smiled at the results, but now, his garden was empty... But he would smile, because he now knew exactly what to do...
  256.
  257. Much like his theory, his new method on creating and summoning water skurn, he would do the same with the seeds... Planting them, caring for them and watching them grow... Orion knew this to be the total purpose of his mothers training.
  258.
  259. He would laugh, thinking about such, only to try this method by molding a bit of water he'd gather from the moisture within the air.
  260.
  261. "Skurn are living creatures, just more loyal and willing to sacrifice themselves for their master... And us, we're just the same, humans can be fickle but there are some of us who remain loyal from one life-time to another... I sometimes wonder what path I will ultimately end up on... Will I become the King of the forest? Will I ascend to a higher leadership position?"
  262.
  263. He took a moments pause.... "These skurn, they will open many doors for both my people and my family... No one will expect for us Glade people to hold an army of water entities, nor will they expect us to function within a thick fog... Our people are strong, and our mother is wise..."
  264.
  265. Orion released a sigh, taking down his finalized notes within his journal about the skurn, each little detail written in black and white, a sketch on the beast drawn at the very bottom of the page. It looked just as he has always visualized it, a masterpiece of nature, an ally to non-other than himself and the Glade. "Rise my children, someday you'll shake the world of vampires," he whispered in a low tone.
  266. (Orion Sinclair)

  268.
  269.
  270. Towards the end of that year… A meeting was held, and in this meeting, Orion would present Adsila with the success of his trial…
  271.
  272. [21:19] Listening to the words of his mother, Orion stared at all who attended the meeting, he was sure that like him, many others loved the Glade and loved living within it as well because it was so neutral, no requirements to become a soldier or member of an army, no the Glade was much more to them that a home, it was their entire life..
  273.
  274. And like a few of those around him, this brought a sharp pain to his heart, but Orion remembered one important thing... And that was Malentine, the vampire who gave him such a traumatic memory, this only made Orion more concerned for the people than he was for himself, concerned for Adsila, concerned for all those around him...
  275.
  276. He'd look at the mixture of saddened and delighted faces, the expression given to him by children, the sorrow hidden deep within those of whom he cared for. The air was filled with emotion, all of which he could only do so little about...
  277.
  278. But Orion, made one thing clear, that they were a people, one always united no matter how far, and thus, he would announce such a fulfilling journal entrée for their steps into a new world, a new time for the Glade and its people.
  279.
  280. But as he would do such, he would also turn to Adsila, offering her the harvested Sugar-Cap Mushroom that was given to him as a trial to prove that he understood what it meant to be a Gladed One and to forge new life from what was already there... This little mushroom, harvested and possibly the last thing he'd harvest for some time until their people were settled in...
  281.
  282. "Mother, I know now is not the best of times, but for that trial, I bring you this..."
  283.
  284. He would look at the people around him, "I plan to keep us all safe, no matter the cost... I will find that army one day, and like this mushroom and many other seeds, I, no... WE, WE The people will raise it, and cherish our sacred guardians, a tradition that will follow the Glade and it's people where ever it may be!"
  285.
  286. He awaits Adsila's response, holding out the sugar cap mushroom for her to take, to see if he's gained her approval for this project to come, to see if he had passed her test of growth...
  287.
  288.
  289.
  290. "Journal Entree X, Envoy Of A New Beginning
  291.
  292. Together we stand, cherishing our people & sacred guardians.
  293. Memories of our ancestors, passed onto us and our children...
  294. Mother, is this your desire?
  295. This masterpiece, protected by a passionate fire.
  296. Happy they are, our people, the battles almost won, tears of joy are made...
  297. Here we stand, as the fish-muscian Shako sangs...
  298. We are the Glade...
  299.
  300. Year 1505, The People of Glade"
  301.
  302.
  303. (Orion Sinclair)
  304. …….
  305. ……..
  306. ……..
  307.
  308. [22:33] Adsila Coaxoch says, "Orion, come with me."
  309. [22:33] Igleta Eclipsa Mariposa says, "Give me a hug later, Mother."
  310. [22:34] Adsila Coaxoch says, "No."
  311. [22:34] Igleta Eclipsa Mariposa says, "D'awwwww.."
  312. [22:34] The avatar hugs her right then and there.
  313. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  314.
  315.
  316. [22:34] Orion follows Adsila.
  317. (Orion Sinclair)
  318.
  319.
  320. [22:34] Igleta hugs
  321. (Igleta Eclipsa Mariposa)
  322.
  323.
  324. [22:34] Orion Sinclair asks, "?"
  325. [22:35] The avatar picks the sugarcap mushroom, and nods once.
  326.
  327. "Tell me, Champion."
  328.
  329. A pause.
  330.
  331. "What have you learned?"
  332. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  333.
  334.
  335. [22:39] Looking at his mother as well as the Ocean in this late night, it was illuminated by the moon, creating the Moonlight passage... This made Orion smile, he had longed for this day, to present to his mother all that he's absorbed from the world..
  336.
  337. "Life is not something we can just make, we must raise it, that seed, like all of us Gladelings, had a potential that was brought out not just by itself but from the care of its owner..."
  338.
  339. He laughs alittle, "In a way, we bring out the best in each other... And as for the real project, skurns, are much like us, they come from a common thing we known as the lifestream, and they again, just like us... Have emotions, have a desire to live, something we should respect..."
  340.
  341. He looks into the water, as he reaches out to the glimmering moonlight shining upon the ocean.
  342.
  343. "They are not weapons, they are my children, like all of nature is your children... These skurn, I must treat them as I would my own Glades'men and offspring... With respect, love and dignity..."
  344.
  345. At that moment, he would turn to face Adsila, looking up towards her, then at the many flowers around him..
  346.
  347. "I would like to continue this, to plant the seeds of life, to water and nurture them, much like you have done to me and as I have done to those I care for."
  348. (Orion Sinclair)
  349.
  350.
  351. [22:46] The avatar nods, as Orion speaks. Her own eyes shimmer several times.
  352.
  353. "You understand then."
  354.
  355. A pause.
  356.
  357. "All things under your creation, your guidance, Orion. They are your children. They need you, and in exchange for your love, they will reward you with the fruits of their labor."
  358.
  359. She holds the sugarcap mushroom into the air.
  360.
  361. "You cared for this, for three days, and look at the beauty you produced."
  362.
  363. A nod.
  364.
  365. "You see, with these Skurn you wish to manifest, your bond with them will become stronger. Merely raising this plant proves to me you have the dedication, Orion, the willpower to see such a task done."
  366.
  367. She would smile, if she could.
  368.
  369. "Yet, with such a thing comes responsibility, your children may get you into trouble, but such is the way of things."
  370.
  371. "All it takes is willpower, Orion."
  372.
  373. "Manifest your will into being."
  374.
  375. She nods.
  376.
  377. "I know you can."
  378. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  379.
  380.
  381. [22:53] With such things came with much responsibility she said, to manifest his will into a being she instructed... This was the final task or at least it seemed so... Orion smiled at Adsila, looking out into the Ocean, the Moonlight Passage and all that would inhabit it within the memories of the deep, the hidden history of their world.
  382.
  383. He'd take a calm breath, inhaling and exhaling so softly, with his eyes closed he would not think about the mathematics behind mana or the science, no his mind was focused on that one thing. His will power and all that dedication he's given to creating these Skurn before, now used so again in this very test.
  384.
  385. Without the use of runes, without the use of science, he would clap his hands together in a form of prayer almost, only to reach out towards the vast sea, glimmering even in the night... He began to pour his mana into a single point, his mind focused on the creation of that image buried deep within his dreams, that part of his very soul and essence...
  386.
  387. Slowly, that moisture within the air began to spin, forming little droplets of water around his hand much like the formation of any water attack... However it would change, showing his progress thus far, putting his abilities on full display... "My will power will give birth to a new additional of our family... Our treasured guardian's our Ocean Skurn..."
  388.
  389. With his hand reaching out into the sea, he would make this attempt to make that water far below from where they stood stand... This water if he was successful would slowly assume the shape of a skurn but without the true features of one... His mind was focused on the task, and his ears open to the guidance of his beloved mother, his cherished mentor in life, Adsila Coaxoch of the Glade!
  390. (Orion Sinclair)
  391.
  392.
  393. [22:58] The avatar watches, face as emotionless as ever, despite beaming with pride.
  394.
  395. "The shape is but a part of it, Orion."
  396.
  397. "A song without music."
  398.
  399. "You must give it soul, Orion. Let it feel you, let it understand you. Understand it."
  400.
  401. "Reach out into it, and permit it to borrow your strength and your wisdom, guide it to become what you wish for it to become."
  402.
  403. "You must grow it, Orion. Patience, focus on what you want, and bring the weight of your desire unto it."
  404.
  405. "Praise it, and love it."
  406.
  407. A nod.
  408.
  409. "It is your child."
  410. (Adsila Coaxoch)
  411.
  412.
  413. [23:05] With the form of the water skurn coming into play, it was but a massive body of water with a shape but no defining traits... This is where Adsila's words made more sense with such clarity. Orion widens his eyes, he knew exactly what she meant and so, like a chess piece, he would move forward.
  414.
  415. His peridot green hue settled on the messy shape of water, he would then close his eyes, allowing the mana within the skurn to continue spinning... But with one vital addition made towards it...
  416.
  417. Orion would begin to do the same, not with his mana but with his mind and spirit, he thought of something... Much like the spirit summoning art, you would have to give up a piece of yourself to make a true masterpiece, and that's exactly what Orion did... He gave this water skurn a piece of himself, he would attempt to pour his mind into the being to give it that defined shape, those traits that would make it true.
  418.
  419. It was clear that he was somewhat frightened of what could happen, if he gave too much or too little... But such comes natural with parenting, always afraid of how your children will turn out.
  420.
  421. "O' infant child of mine... Together..."
  422.
  423. He paused, placing his head against the core center of the water skurn, and upon contact, the skurns flesh would begin to materialize through his strong passion, his will, his love towards this creation, his dedication as the creator and parent...
  424.
  425. "We will sail upon the Ocean of Time...And your birth, celebrated upon the Moonlight Passage..." He spoke as one who would potentially one day become the father of the sea, no, he who sailed upon the Ocean of Time.
  426.
  427. Slowly but surely, if his will was strong enough, this water would forge itself into a true skurn, but only for a time as this was the finalization of his practice, of the guidance given to him by his mother.
  428.
