➖PERSONALITY: When thinking of kindness, Lee Minju is one of the first people to come to mind. Considerate, compassionate, warm and friendly, that’s what she is. She believes that even the worst of people, like RING and MEAN have a good side to them. Even if she gets bullied by them, she chooses to stay optimistic and tries to understand them (well, for now), because you never know what people are going through. Not only is she the epitome of niceness, but she is also one of the most hardworking, diligent students in the S.E.U. Although she’s never an honor student, teachers have always commended her for her hard work. If there’s one thing Minju loves, it’s music. Since she was little, she enjoyed singing and playing the guitar due to her grandfather’s influence. She can’t seem to study without music either. Minju is far from perfect though, and she has her own share of flaws. She’s quiet, never really talking to anyone unless they’re troubled and need help, or it’s class recitation. She doesn’t have friends of her own, and only frequently talks with people who comment on her YouTube videos, and her brother Mark. She would of course talk to someone if they started to talk to her first, but she doesn’t really know how to start conversations. She does try her best to talk to her schoolmates, especially GALAXY, but she feels as if they don’t want to talk to her, or she just feels plain awkward. Minju is also very naive, believing a lot of things she’s told, and what she reads online. It’s easy to manipulate and persuade her into saying or doing things, things like spilling secrets. This could be one of the reasons why she stays quiet most of the time, to avoid saying something that could be used as blackmail.

➖BACKGROUND: Minju was born and raised in the town of Sal-in. Growing up, she didn’t get much attention from her parents. Both her mother and father had an obvious favoritism for their first born, her older brother Mark. At the dinner table, their parents always ask questions to Mark and just Mark. They’d always let him volunteer in events, but would hesitate if Minju asked. On celebrations like birthdays and Christmas, he would always get what he asked for, while she was given things like shirts and shoes. She is very thankful for those things, but she just wishes her parents would spend more time to talk to her, just like they do with her brother. Minju always felt neglected by her parents, and she doesn’t want others to feel that way, explaining why she has a heart of gold. However there was one family member who was always there for her, and that was her grandfather, who was a musician as well before. She was always so close to her grandfather, he was the one who gave Minju her first guitar, and even taught her how to play on it. Before, they would always sing together whenever he would come to visit their house. So when her grandfather suddenly passed away from a stroke two years ago, she was heartbroken. However, his passing motivated her to continue on music, so she started her YouTube channel, and whenever records a video to post she always remembers him.

➖CURRENT LIFESTYLE: For the mayor’s daughter, her life’s not actually that interesting, she’s not very involved in what her dad does. Minju just does what she enjoys: listen to music, play her guitar and sing, and since she’s a student, studying is important. She also enjoys what any girl her age would, which is k-dramas. Again, nothing too interesting, aside from the secret relationship, of course.

➖HOW SHE MET YOUR LI: One night at around 7:30, Minju was waiting to be picked up school after working on a group project at the school library. All her group mates had gone home since they just walk, but as she’s the mayor’s daughter and her house is quite far from school, she had to be picked up by car. She was waiting peacefully until she heard someone shout, and it sounded like that person was in pain. So she rushed to find who it could be, and she saw someone at the bottom of the main staircase at school, which was not too far from where she was waiting, it was Jaemin/Donghyuck. Minju asked him if he was okay, but even though he answered yes and tried to stand up, she knew he wasn’t. Being the kind girl she is, she couldn’t just leave him there while he just fell down the stairs, so she brought him to one of Sal-in’s small clinics, which was thankfully a less than five minute walk from the S.E.U (because the nurse’s office would be closed at that time). He told her that she didn’t have to do it, but she insisted, and he couldn’t do anything about it. He may be a viper, but he got hurt so she had to have to checked. With his arm around her shoulder, they walked for what felt like ages for him, but they got there in no time for her. While he was being checked, she already paid for the treatment fees (idk what it’s called woops), and after that went to check on him, and thankfully there were no big injuries, just an ankle sprain. At about 8:15 she had to leave, the one fetching her would probably be getting impatient by then. So she went back to school where she’d be picked up, and to her surprise, she heard a “thank you” from him, which put a smile on her face. He was left there until his guardian picked him up.

➖HOW THEY STARTED DATING: After they first met, Jaemin/Donghyuck started trying to befriend Minju so that he could find out information that could be useful for the vipers’ plan to take down the government. But the more he spent time befriending her, the more he started to genuinely like her, and she started to realize that he wasn’t all that bad as well. Jaemin/Donghyuck couldn’t believe that he was starting to like the mayor’s daughter, and Minju couldn’t believe that she was starting to fall for a viper. Both of the them kept denying that they liked the other for quite some time, but it just made them think of the other more. Until one day he decided, “you know what screw it I like her and I’m gonna confess”. He knew what he was planning to do was going to be cringe-y but did it anyway. Just a few minutes before the first class begun, he put a chocolate bar on her desk with a small post-it note attached to the back of it. It just wrote “meet me behind bleachers at the tennis field after classes.” She didn’t know at all who it was, but her being easy to manipulate, she went. When she got there, she saw Jaemin/Donghyuck. She was confused, but at the same time she hoped that he’d do what she was hoping for, a confession. In the end, he did, and she admitted her feelings too.

➖HOW THEY HANDLE THEIR SECRET RELATIONSHIP: They talk to each other a little bit more through texting and late-night video chats than personally. She’s always the one who calls him, because she has to make sure that everyone’s asleep before she talks to him. When they do meet up personally, they’re really cautious and they make sure that no student or teacher from the S.E.U will spot them. It’s very rare that they meet up in school, but if they’re really desperate it’s behind the bleachers at the tennis field, or like a janitor’s closet or something. At school they pretend that they have nothing to do with each other. Jaemin/Donghyuck even flirts with other girls so that it won’t be obvious that he’s dating someone.

➖SOME SCENES:
— they’re video chatting, but mark enters her room and says “who you talking to?” so quickly ended the call and replied with “um, myself?”. jaemin/donghyuck just kept spamming messages like “why’d you end the call?” so the notifications started sounding continuously, leaving mark suspicious. you can decide what he’d do next XD
— she notices that he has a cut and asks him where he got it. he just said it’s nothing, but she treats it anyway.

➖HOW DOES SHE FEEL ABOUT:

* GALAXY - Minju doesn’t think she’s a bad girl. In fact, out of all of the girls, GALAXY is the one she’d want to make friends with.

* RING - Although she tries to see the good in RING, she’s quite scared of her because she knows that RING hates her. Along with her best friend MEAN, RING just won’t stop bullying Minju.

* MEAN - Just like RING, she’s pretty scared of MEAN too. MEAN just won’t leave her alone and can’t go a day without picking on Minju.

* FREESIA - Minju doesn’t think she’s all that harmful, but she’d rather stay away from FREESIA knowing that she’s the leader of the vipers.

* CHOCOLATE - Minju finds the younger girl really cute, she just wants to hug her and buy her a meal. She doesn’t actually know about her depression, since CHOCOLATE smiles 24/7.

* FIGHT DAY - Minju honestly envies FIGHT DAY, she has everything. She’s pretty, intelligent, gets the attention, her life is just perfect and Minju wishes to be like her.

* MARK - He’s her older brother that she loves very much, and they’re very close. Minju just hopes that he could share some of the attention from their parents.

* RENJUN - She doesn’t really know much about Renjun, except that he’s “that mysterious guy who writes for the newspaper”.

* JENO - Who wouldn’t admire Lee Jeno? Minju has to admit that he’s really good-looking, especially when he plays tennis. He seems like a really nice guy too.

* JAEMIN - She admits that he’s “hot”, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a flirt and that he’s a viper, so she’d choose avoid him (fOR NOW wink wonk).

* DONGHYUCK - Among all three vipers, Donghuck is definitely the one she would avoid. (if he ends up being the li then fOR NOW cx) Everyday, she can’t help notice all the trouble he causes and all the police cars he’s damaged, so he’s definitely the one she’d stay away from.

* CHENLE - From what she’s heard, he’s just a wealthy Chinese boy who’s full of himself. Other than that, she doesn’t know much about him.

* JISUNG - Yes he’s outstandingly smart, but she’s not really fond of him. Minju sees that he’s disrespectful even to authorities so she didn’t think about going near him. But after finding out that about his childhood, she became a lot more understanding towards him and will talk to him anytime if he comes to her.
