  1. And here he was. Dead.
  2.
  3. How did he know? Because in all directions, as far as the eye could see, there was a cotton candy fondue of blue sky and clouds.
  4.
  5. He was in heaven.
  6.
  7. He could make sense of his new occupation, for few could follow the conspiracy’s thread, battle with the gods, and come out in one piece. And now he rest assured that he would never fight again, for he would be too busy gazing at the clouds in heavenly bliss for all eternity.
  8.
  9. As he observed the heavens, he could even see Colette a pace or so in front of him, fluttering her arms like the angel she knew she was. There was only one thing off from what he imagined the afterlife to look like and that was that he was falling.
  10.
  11. Fast.
  12.
  13. He couldn’t stop himself.
  14.
  15. And now he was about to hit the hard granite surface below.
  16.
  17. Ok, he wasn’t in heaven at all, but he sure was going to be if a miracle didn’t happen soon. Perhaps a should have been born an aviator, and not a telepath.
  18.
  19. And to think that the catalyst for the present events was that he received a gift he never wanted.
  20.
  21. What was that gift?
  22.
  23. His best friend.
  24.
  25. Oh why?
  26.
  27. Let’s go back and see the paradox the conspiracy crafted.
