  5. Episode #1: “The Zen-Ou’s Quest”
  6. •A cloaked man (Fuu) opens a tomb. Searching through it, the man bypasses jewels and gold for a chest. Within that chest is…a map! A devilish grin graces the face of the man’s shadow.
  7. •Opening:
  8. •Son Gokuu and Vegeta (both wearing their battle gear with the Capsule Corp. logos on them) spar with Whis on the planet of Destruction God Beers. A close-up shot of a sleeping Beers obscures the two Saiyans’ pithy combination attacks in the background. Beers twitching ears wag back and forth, each obscuring of the background battle showing Gokuu and Vegeta’s momentum growing weaker and weaker. Whis decides to be cheeky and decides to lead Gokuu and Vegeta toward Beers and into the foreground of the camera. Gokuu and Vegeta wind up hitting Beers, infuriating the cranky Destruction God and getting their asses handed to them with only a few blows.

  10. •A Part: Drinking from a sports bottle, Gokuu ruminates about how difficult it is trying to obtain the Mastery of Self-Movement again after he was able to use it to nearly defeat Jiren at the Tournament of Power recently. Vegeta adds his muffled agreement through the towel pressed against his sweat-soaked face. Whis retorts that at the very least the Zen-Ou holding the Tournament of Power helped them both master Super Saiyan Blue, at least. Vegeta shows noticeable annoyance at the mention of the Zen-Ou, prompting Gokuu to ask what Vegeta has against Zen-chan. A vein forms on Vegeta brow at the question, “It’s his fault that Trunks lost his timeline!” Gokuu agrees rather nonchalantly, “Yeah, I guess Zen-chan didn’t have to erase the timeline jus’ ‘cause it bored him! I don’t think we can revive the timeline, though…can we?” This gives Vegeta an idea. Grabbing Gokuu by the red top of his dougi the Saiyan Prince demands to be taken there. Beers, squeamish at the idea of those two numbskulls talking to the Zen-Ou again reaches for them but is too late: they’re gone. Beers screams in distress while Whis just rolls his eyes at his short-tempered god. A shining sun paints the leaves of the tropical South City Park golden. The Trunks and Mai from the Future enjoy the sight of children at play at the beautiful park. Perched upon the edge of the giant water fountain, ice cream cone in hand and her legs stretched out far, Mai ruminates aloud to her blue-haired companion about how gorgeous this timeline has become in the past year. Restrained, Trunks agrees as he aimlessly stirs his ice cream cup with his petite pink plastic spoon. The sight of the children playing tag in the splash pad softens Mai’s eyes even further. Turning to Trunks, Mai adds “I’ve never really thought about it before…before meeting Haru-chan and Maki-chan…” the mention of the orphans’ names makes Trunks shudder in regret, “…but…I think it wouldn’t be so bad…being a mother, I mean.” Trunks stops stirring his long-melted ice cream, looks up at the clean blue sky and tries to repress a frown. “Yeah,” is all Trunks can muster. Despite having lived in this alternate timeline since for a year both Trunks and Mai have avoided interacting with anyone they knew previously. The weight of knowing that Haru and Maki still exist in this timeline while all that remains of his timeline is an unending reminder of his failure to protect his universe from Zamasu and Gokuu Black. Mai frowns, a clear signal of how worried she is about how Trunks has grown so glum since the erasure of their original timeline. Resolve washing ashore her face, Mai stands up, takes the befuddled son of Blooma and Vegeta by the hand and leads him through the splash pad before them. Artificial geysers spray up from the ground and ding Trunks akin to a nasty uppercut. Falling backward onto his rear, Trunks rubs the water from his eyes and looks up at the figure of the woman before him, backlit by the radiant and golden sun. No stranger to time Trunks is nevertheless caught up in the moment: the water dancing around them seem particularly centered on Mai. As the sun dyes the the slow-moving water droplets now framing Mai’s beautiful face a calming gold Trunks can only stare in awe of the woman’s smile, her lush black hair perfectly dancing amidst the momentum borne of her laughter. For the first time in a long, long time Trunks feels the beating of his heart again. Suddenly, the warmth of the sun fills him and before he knows it a sly grin appears on his mouth from where he does not know. Grabbing the distracted woman by her sundress, Trunks pulls Mai through the path of a geyser just as it goes off. A soaked but still laughing Mai crashes atop Trunks, presses her face upon his with a pause. The pause passes and both wind up breaking into laughter once more. The children playing on the water pad stare at the adults in confusion. Meanwhile, Gokuu and Vegeta stand before the two Zen-Ou and the Grand Priest. Vegeta demands that the Zen-Ou from the Future restore Trunks’ erased timeline. The Zen-Ou says that that timeline would be boring, so he doesn’t really want to. Gokuu begs the Zen-chan to do this for them but they still are not sure. Vegeta and Gokuu offer to do anything they want in exchange, prompting the Grand Priest to have an idea. The Grand Priest confers with his masters in whispers before backing away. The two Zen-Ou agree to restore the erased timeline on the condition that Gokuu and Vegeta retrieve a lost artifact for them. Gokuu and Vegeta agree immediately but are shocked when the Zen-Ou reveal the other detail: the quest will be a race between the two Saiyans. If Gokuu loses they will restore the erased timeline but if Gokuu loses then Gokuu’s family will be erased. Both Saiyans are shocked by this revelation.
  11. •B Part: The scene: a marsh-covered planet infested with toxic water and plant life. A blood-soaked Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gokuu and Vegeta dance through the forestation, trading blows like never before with their full power. Stealing possession of a suitcase from one another, Gokuu and Vegeta find themselves in the worst game of keep away in history. For them, this is truly a life-or-death battle. Hours earlier, Gokuu and Vegeta stand before the two Zen-Ou and the Grand Priest; utterly shocked by the ultimatum they have been given. Gokuu turns to Vegeta and upon sight of his saddened but otherwise resolved face the Saiyan raised on Earth realizes what he must do. The tomb in which their quarry lays is unceremoniously scarred with moss. Pulling open the door to the tomb the two Saiyans wait for the other to make a move. Finally, they both break into a race down the unlit and unknown corridor. Avoiding traps and wildlife, the two Saiyans compete for the lead. Finally, Vegeta outsmarts Gokuu by blasting the ceiling of the corridor and trapping Gokuu beneath rocks. By the time Gokuu breaks out Vegeta is already far ahead of him. Gokuu’s pride prevents him from using his Shunkan-idou despite the dire stakes. Instead, Gokuu fires a Kamehame-Ha from his feet to give himself a burst of momentum and gets ahead of Vegeta. Taking the counter in stride, Vegeta lines himself up behind Gokuu and uses him to reduce his wind resistance. At the last second, Vegeta grabs Gokuu by the feet and pushes off of him to propel himself ahead while also slamming Gokuu into the cavern floor. By the time Gokuu comes to Vegeta is already taking hold of the rugged suitcase off of its pedestal. Gokuu brings all of his ki to the forefront and dashes after Vegeta. Vegeta responds in kind while protecting his grasp on the suitcase. A wild game of tug-of-war begins. Meanwhile, the Zen-Ou cheer on the battle via a large monitor. The Zen-Ou from the Present cheers for Vegeta while the Zen-Ou from the Future cheers on Son Gokuu. Elsewhere, Trunks and Mai return to their cottage home in the jungle. Changing out of their soaking wet clothes, the two continue their discussion from earlier. Now much more talkative, Trunks admits that he too never thought he would be able to be a father because of his growing up in a hellish nightmare. Meeting Haru and Maki, not to mention his own father from the past started to change how Trunks felt. Before he knew it, desire had built up in him. Mai exists from the bathroom in nothing but a towel and side-leans against the wall while staring at Trunks. Looking down at his rough and dry palms, Trunks wonders aloud “Can these hands really hold a child?” Standing up straight, Mai asks in return “What does your heart want?” After a moment, Trunks admits: “To hope they can.” An unexpected knock against the door of the cottage steals the duo’s attention. Back in the present, Gokuu and Vegeta tear one another apart—and the marshlands electing to remain in their warpath. Gokuu senses sorrow in Vegeta’s heavy fists. Despite his own worries, Vegeta is able to sense the desperation from Kakarotto’s fists. Blood flies everywhere as the two Saiyans unleash blows mean to kill one another. Finally, the two exhausted Saiyans crash into thicket of thorn bushes. Vegeta drops the suitcase in the crash and scrambles via crawling to reclaim the suitcase as it sinks into a toxic swamp. Vegeta grabs hold of the suitcase but is too weak to lift it out of the powerful, quicksand-esque swamp. The swamp begins to pull Vegeta in off of the coast. Gokuu grabs Vegeta by the legs and tries to pull him out but with his own injuries he is too weak to pull or lift. Finally, the swamp swallows both Saiyans. The Zen-Ou from the Future exits from the bathroom to rejoin his self from the present only to find him marveling over the suitcase that the Saiyans were asked to retrieve. “Oh, it’s here! But who won?!” Vegeta steps forward…but so does a confident Gokuu from behind Vegeta. Confused, the Zen-Ou from the Future asks what happened while he was pooping. Vegeta and Gokuu reveal that the rules they were given said that Gokuu’s family would only be erased if he lost so all they had to do was make the race a tie between the two and Gokuu’s family would not be erased. The two Zen-Ou are pleased that Gokuu and Vegeta figured out the goal of the race and reveal that had they truly turned against one another rather than show off their worth as humans from the Seventh Universe they would’ve either not restored the timeline or erased Gokuu’s family anyway, similar to the end of the Tournament of Power. Non-plussed, the Zen-Ou from the Future snaps his fingers and says that he’s done: the timeline is back to the way it was before the disembodied Zamasu killed everyone. Gokuu and Vegeta are ecstatic.
  12. •Ending: Trunks answers the knock on his cottage’s door and is shocked to find Gokuu-san and his dad, both sporting grins. Elsewhere, the mysterious cloaked man unearths a block of ice, within it a Saiyan bound in shackles and a face mask.
  13. •A green hand bursts out of rubble in the middle of Metro West.
  14.
  15. Episode #2: “The Prison Planet”
  16. •Son Gokuu and Vegeta (both wearing their battle gear with the Capsule Corp. logos on them) train with Whis while Beers sleeps and Shin prepares tea. Gokuu and Vegeta try employing the teachings of Ultra Instinct but cannot seem to do so like Whis can. Suddenly, Mai arrives on the scene and reveals that Trunks has been captured!
  17. •Opening:
  18. •Trunks (green prisoner outfit) awakens in a prison cell. Unsure of where he is, Trunks yells for help. The old man in the cell next to him (Slug) tells the half-Saiyan to save his breath: nobody has ever escaped the Prison Planet alive. Trunks hopes Fuu was able to find his father.
  19. •Title Card:
  20. •A Part: Fuu, a scientist with white hair in a ponytail accompanying Mai, explains that while Trunks was helping him stop some evil guys from attacking peaceful planets Trunks was captured and sent to the Prison Planet. Vegeta asks Fuu why he was unable to protect Trunks but Fuu only says that they were both exhausted from fighting and Trunks created an opportunity for him to escape. Shin reveals that the Prison Planet was originally created as a ‘super-max planet’ to house the deadliest criminals apprehended by the Galactic Patrol but they were forced to abandon it and the prisoners many years ago for some reason. Nevertheless, Gokuu, Vegeta and Mai agree to go and save Trunks. Gokuu eventually finds the ki of the planet—torrid and nauseating as it is—and teleports himself and his two companions there after Fuu takes his leave. Meanwhile, Trunks talks to the old man some more. The old man becomes amused by Trunks’ due diligence in attempting to escape from his cell. As far as Trunks can tell they are the only two in this cell block, too. With a ki-dampening device locked around his ankle preventing him from using ki Trunks begins trying to separate the bars of the cell with his bare hands. Trunks’ efforts prove ineffective. The old man laughs some more at the younger man, revealing that the cell is made out of some of the toughest materials in the universe and probably reinforced even further. With his strength failing him, Trunks desperately thinks of what knowledge he can use to possibly get out of this situation.
  21. •B Part: Gokuu and gang arrive somewhere a wasteland on the Prison Planet. Fuu is not to be seen, however. Gokuu and Vegeta try to sense for Fuu but find that they cannot sense very far. The ki of the Prison Planet is thick and nauseating. Not only does it limit the scope of their ability to sense individual ki it also gives them headaches when they try to sense. Gokuu realizes that as a result of this he won’t be able to teleport off of the planet, either! Suddenly, another Son Gokuu (‘Gokuu: Xeno’ henceforth) appears. Gokuu and the others are surprised by this new arrival. Gokuu: Xeno mumbles something about “Ah, so that’s what’s going on here…” and begins attacking Gokuu with his Nyoi’bou. Gokuu has difficulty at first but manages to slip past Gokuu: Xeno’s attack and deliver an uppercut. Gokuu: Xeno’s Nyoi’bou flies from his grasp a few feet away from him and forces him on the defense in a hand-to-hand combat battle with his foe. Finally, Gokuu: Xeno transforms into a Super Saiyan form that Gokuu and the others have never seen before: Super Saiyan 4!!
  22. •Ending:
  23. •Trunks’ struggle to break out of his cell continues. Slug advises the young man that while his due diligence is admirable it is useless unless it produces results. Trunks and Slug’s cells open remotely, much to their surprise. The two men are led by a reprogrammed Galactic Patrol robot to a coliseum. The cloaked man reveals that the duo will battle together against two other prisoners: Bojack and Shuura! Trunks gasps upon sight of Bojack, “You…!”
  24.
  25. Episode #3: “The Galactic Marauder”
  26. •Bojack and his gang raid a planet of people who eat gold to live. Terrorizing the planet, Bojack and his gang force the civilians that they haven’t killed to load the gold onto their spaceship. Suddenly, Buujin is attacked from behind and knocked unconscious by Trunks’ Burning Attack (Future Trunks arc out). Bojack turns to Trunks and orders Gokua to take care of him.
  27. •Opening:
  28. •Trunks is shocked by the appearance of Bojack. “I…I thought you died!” Bojack grins and explains that the warden here saved his life and is giving him an opportunity to make a great deal of money. Annoyed, Trunks reaches for his sword only to remember that he doesn’t have it!
  29. •Title Card:
  30. •A Part: Trunks and Gokua engage in a sword battle. After finding his swordplay overwhelmed by the powerful swings of Gokua, Trunks transforms into his Super Saiyan form and uses Gokua’s shock to stab him through the stomach and induce a loss of consciousness. Bojack laughs and offers Trunks some of the gold if that’s what he’s after. Trunks scoffs and tells him to drop dead. Trunks dashes after his foe and attempts to split him in two. Suddenly, Trunks is forced to stop in mid-air: Bidou and Zangya are restraining him with their magical ki wires! Fuu slices at Bidou with his own sword, giving Trunks enough wiggle room to break out of Zangya’s hold. Trunks aims for Bojack’s head but stops short when the raider resents a civilian as a human shield. Blasting through the civilian (ala how Bojack does the same to Zangya in the original film), Bojack slams his ki blast at the off-guard Trunks’ solar plexus and knocks him unconscious. Back in the present, a crowd cheers for Bojack to brutalize Trunks and Slug. Bojack’s partner, Shuura (from Dragon Ball Episode #81) finds the jeering crowd of prisoners boorish and odorous. Bojack confidently tells his partner that he needn’t worry; the fight will be enough of a show to distract him from the stench. The cloaked man explains that he has disabled the ki-sealing function of their leg monitors but should they try and break them he will simply activate the coliseum’s ki-sealing function. Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan and raises his ki to its upper limits. “This time I won’t be caught off guard!!” The cloaked man declares the commencement of the battle.
  31. •B Part: Bojack confidently crosses his arms as Trunks fast approaches. Concern graces Slug’s face at the galactic marauder’s confidence before quickly turning to surprise upon the realization of what’s happening. Just as Trunks reaches fist-swinging range he is knocked back by a full-power counter to the jaw...from Shuura’s disembodied hand! Slug turns to Shuura who stands behind Bojack. Shuura’s right hand has disappeared into Bojack’s shadow! Slug curses his now unconscious young friend’s rashness in charging in without knowing his foe’s capabilities. Bojack unleashes a massive ki bomb down upon Trunks. The old man slams his palms into the ground and wills the coliseum to turn upside down, disrupting Bojack’s aim. Bojack’s giant ki bomb crashes into the force field protecting the spectators. Slug uses telekinesis to lift the unconscious half-Saiyan to behind him. “Damn it brat, wake up!”demands Slug. Slug curses to himself when yelling falls flat and forcibly wakes Trunks up with a single finger touch to his forehead. The groggy Trunks thanks the annoyed Slug only to be chastised in return. Trunks apologizes to the old man, saying that after what he saw Bojack do he can’t forgive him. Slug explains that if they have any chance of beating both a power-type and a magic-type like Bojack and Shuura they’re going to have to work together. Trunks nods in agreement before the duo return their attention to their smug blue foes. Meanwhile, Shin expresses worry that they can neither sense what is happening on the Prison Planet nor view it. Beers rolls his eyes and says that Gokuu and Vegeta volunteered to clean up this mess so now it’s on them. Back on the Prison Planet, Gokuu, Vegeta and Mai are taken aback by Gokuu: Xeno’s transformation. “So...there is a ‘Super Saiyan 4’?” Gokuu asks. Gokuu: Xeno nods before dashing at Gokuu. Gokuu turns into a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan and prepares himself for collision.
  32. •Ending:
  33. •The Saiyan of Evil—Cumber—awakens. The cloaked figure laughs at the Saiyan as he futilely struggles to break free of his straightjacket and muzzle. “Don’t worry; you’ll have a chance to run wild very soon, Saiyan of Evil!”
  34.
  35. Episode #4: “Super Saiyan 4”
  36. •Super Saiyan 4 Gokuu: Xeno leans backward to catch Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Son Gokuu’s punch. Performing tomare-nage, Gokuu: Xeno sends Gokuu flying into a rock formation. By the time Son Gokuu recovers from the counter he finds himself staring down a massive stream of red ki.
  37. •Opening:
  38. •Slug uses his telekinesis to slightly shift Bojack’s weight just as he prepares to counterpunch Trunks himself. With no strength or speed behind his punch Bojack runs straight into Trunks’ right fist…or at least would if Shuura hadn’t used his disembodied hand to pull Bojack by his left leg down and out of Trunks’ path. Trunks is unperturbed by the save and continues dashing straight for Shuura. “Tch, that’s what you were aiming for, eh?” Shuura realizes. Leaping forward, Shuura dives into Trunks’ shadow and reappears behind him. Surrounding his fists in high-speed tornadoes of ki, Shuura slams both of his fists into Super Saiyan Trunks’ unguarded back…or at least would have if Slug hadn’t leapt out of Trunks’ back through a magical seal he placed upon Trunks’ back to deliver a nasty counterpunch to Shuura’s nose. Shuura flies back, blood streaming from his nose; while Slug pulls himself out of the seal he placed on Trunks’ back to tackle the mad-rushing Bojack. No fool himself, Bojack sidesteps Slug’s tackle and judou chops him on the back of his neck with his right hand while launching an array of ki bullets at the fast-approaching Trunks.
  39. •Title Card:
  40. •A Part: Super Saiyan Blue Gokuu dodges the red stream of ki at the last second but is sent flying by the collision of the attack. Gokuu: Xeno ceases his Kamehame-Ha and when the smoke clears it is clear that the attack was strong enough to easily destroy the planet ten thousand-times over. Super Saiyan Blue Gokuu regains his standing and asks his counterpart what that was. Super Saiyan 4 Gokuu: Xeno introduces his ‘Ten-Times Kamehame-Ha’, his most powerful attack. Gokuu can’t believe that such an evolution was possible, tightens his belt and then raises his ki for a counterattack. Meanwhile, Cumber begins breaking loose of his chains through constant struggle. The cloaked figure laughs and decides to speed up his timeline a little. Meanwhile, Gokuu and Gokuu: Xeno are dealing brutal blows to one another. Vegeta curses the sight of two Kakarrottos fighting one another before Mai reminds him of his missing son. Finally, both Saiyans engage in a beam-struggle that rages until they both slowly revert to their base forms and collapse. Gokuu: Xeno reveals two Senzu from his dougi, consumes one and then tosses the other to his counterpart. Gokuu raises an eyebrow but accepts the gift. Gokuu: Xeno explains that he was simply testing his counterpart to make sure he would be of help against the criminal he is currently tracking. Gokuu is perplexed but nevertheless interested. Gokuu: Xeno begins to reveal what his mission is. Meanwhile, Slug picks himself up off the ground wearily. Trunks is taking multiple hits from Bojack’s ki bullets as they pass through Shuura’s dimensional rifts to hit Trunks from unexpected angles. Slug curses his waning stamina, confident that in his youth he would have had no problem in this fight. The warden communicates through telepathy to Slug, telling him that he knows exactly what he wants but to get it he’s going to have to pay a price. Back on the ranch, Shin is interrupted by a panicking Kibito. “That prisoner of terrifying power was being stored on the Prison Planet!!” Raising an eyebrow in confusion Shin asks his attendant for clarification, “The Revolutionary Madoushi…Abra!!” Meanwhile, Slug begins convulsing. Trunks bypasses his foes to check on his cohort but is brushed away. The convulsing grows stronger and Slug practically tears his cloak and sleeves off his body, including his helmet. As Slug’s skin color lightens to a brighter green Trunks is shocked to find that Slug…is a Namekian?! A ‘M’ marking appears on Slug’s head and Slug’s ki spikes in size once again. Finally, Slug’s dark ki settles down and fully absorbs into his body. Trunks asks if his prison mate is well only to be slugged into the coliseum’s audience shield. Slug stands tall and mighty, thanking The Warden for restoring him to his prime. Over the intercom The Warden reminds Slug to fulfill his end of the bargain and Slug agrees. Slug dashes at Trunks and begins to brutalize him. Trunks screams at Slug, calling him a swindler but Slug retorts that in the end he is only looking out for himself and his desires. Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan Ikari and lunges at Slug.
  41. •B Part: Gokuu: Xeno explains that in his timeline he became a Time Patroller to help the Kaiou-shin of Time Chrona maintain the timeline. A criminal that he’s been chasing has been using the Prison Planet in this timeline for some nefarious scheme and he was dispatched to stop him. Gokuu agrees to help since it seems Trunks has been caught up in this whole mess. Heading toward the main city, the group is eventually cut off by an incredible, evil ki of humongous proportions. Cumber, still in his straightjacket, has arrived on the scene, emitting a thick, red and black-colored ki so vile that it transforms the wild life in the area into plant monsters that attack Gokuu and the others. Gokuu, Gokuu: Xeno and Vegeta fight off the monster planets with difficulty until they transform into Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan 4. With the corrupted monster plants burned to ashes the trio at then assaulted by two hand-shaped streams of ki from the stationary Cumber, still struggling to break from his straightjacket. Gokuu: Xeno comments that it is as if Cumber’s ki has a mind of its own. Vegeta, carrying Mai to safety, wonders why this Gokuu from a different dimension is so serious compared to his. Meanwhile, Super Saiyan God Gokuu is caught by the leg by one of the ki hands and slammed into the planet below. Knocked unconscious, Gokuu returns to his base form and is then possessed by Cumber’s malicious ki. Cumber’s ki uses Gokuu’s body to begin attacking Vegeta and Gokuu: Xeno. Gokuu: Xeno knocks his counterpart back but this only causes Gokuu to transform into a Super Saiyan 3 and attack again. Meanwhile, The Warden giggles and claps at the sight of Gokuu attacking his friends while Slug and Trunks also fight one another. On the monitor, Super Saiyan God Vegeta takes a page from Cumber and uses his ki to transform the plant life into his own attack dogs. Cumber leaps around to avoid the giant plant monsters while still struggling to break free from his straightjacket and creating new evil plant monsters to defend him. Back at the coliseum, Trunks and Slug beat one another to a pulp. Slug laughs, rejoicing his restored youth and physical power. “This is the most fun I’ve had in ages, kid!” Slug even tears off an arm and uses it to beat Trunks from a mid-range before Trunks’ patience exhausts once more and he back-kicks Slugs wrist to send the limb flying. Cursing Slug for getting in his way, Trunks fires off his Burning Attack but his anger makes his moves too predictable and Slug side-steps to sledgehammer the Saiyan on the back of his neck. Trunks passes out and returns to his normal form. With the kid at his feet Slug turns to look up at the spectator’s box where The Warden is stationed. Meanwhile, The Warden thanks Abra for her assistance. Abra, sister to Bibidi, tells The Warden to not address her in “that shoddy get-up”. The Warden disrobes to reveal himself as Fuu. Fuu thanks Abra and allows her to take her leave as he promised he would. Slug enters the monitor room carrying the unconscious Trunks with Shuura and Bojack in tow. Slug says he’ll fight the kid again and again when he wakes up. Fuu reveals that such will be unnecessary since Slug is being given to Abra. “Trunks-kun can fight Shuura-san and Bojack-san next.” Slug grimaces and says that he wants to stay but Fuu wags his finger and reminds him that his mind is under the control of the Madoushi Abra. Abra waves a hand and it is enough to make Slug nearly fall over. Slug agrees to obey and the pressure is relieved. Catching his breath, Slug stands up straight and looks down at the unconscious Trunks that he had dropped during the attack on his mind just now. Slug slowly walks to Abra’s side and takes his place. Abra bids Fuu farewell but before he can teleport himself and Slug away the Namekian stabs his sharp nails into Abra’s brain and begins to absorb her magic power. Everyone is shocked by this turn of events but the magic-using Namekian scoffs at the idea of letting another magic-user manipulate his heart. Slug blasts Abra into nothing and then lunges at Fuu. Shuura and Bojack move into to protect their boss until a sneak attack from behind by Super Saiyan Trunks knocks them down right through the flooring of several levels of the building. Trunks and Slug bump fists as a shocked Fuu scowls at them. “T-telepathy, huh?!” Fuu growls with an almost accusatory tone. “Hah, hardly. The kid would never be able to act that well. I just sent a jolt of ki into his body to wake him up while I was dragging his ass up here!” To make matters worse for Fuu the shock collars on Slug and Trunks seem to easily fall off. “It took me a while but that damned spell I’ve been preparing finally kicked in,” the Namekian gloats. Fuu can only scowl in return as his ego is bruised. The prisoner duo fires a combined stream of ki at Fuu only for it to be negated by a force field. Fuu uses his console to teleport himself to safety after commanding every prisoner at the coliseum to recapture Trunks and Slug. Trunks sees his father and friends on the monitor are in the middle of a fight somewhere on the Prison Planet, too and asks Slug to join him. Slug smirks and says that he’s an interesting guy to hang around with for such a wet-blanket. Trunks and Slug begin to fight their way through a coliseum full of prisoners.
  42. •Ending:
  43. •Gokuu: Xeno knocks his counterpart unconscious with a carefully planned blow to the chest. Cumber’s ki evaporates from Gokuu’s body at last, giving Gokuu: Xeno a chance to watch Vegeta chase after Cumber. Cumber finally breaks free of his straightjacket just as Vegeta is about to lay a blow on him and punches Vegeta straight through a mountain. Slapping his counterpart awake, Gokuu: Xeno says that it’s time to get serious. Gokuu transforms into Super Saiyan Blue but then unveils that he can layer the Kaiou-ken atop it, much to Gokuu: Xeno’s chagrin. The Blue Kaiou-ken dashes toward Cumber.
  44.

  48. •Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Kaiou-ken Son Gokuu has his kick blocked by Cumber’s left arm thickly layered in muscle. Gokuu can’t believe how strong Cumber is in his in merely his base form and increases to a Three-Times Kaiou-ken Blue. Finally, Gokuu unveils the Twenty-Times Kaiou-ken Blue but Cumber roars in indignation, “More! Show me more power!!” Gokuu scoffs and fires off a Kamehame-Ha only for Cumber to unleash a ki blast from his still-muzzled mouth that nullifies the wave.
  49. •Title Card:
  50. •A Part: Trunks and Slug finally make it out of the coliseum and begin to fly off in the direction of Cumber’s overwhelming ki, so thick that it can be sensed even on the Prison Planet designed to be a harsh environment. Back at Fuu’s destroyed lab the perpetrator of the vandalism confronts Fuu: it’s Vegeta: Xeno! Vegeta: Xeno tells Fuu that he’s under arrest but Fuu refuses to go easily and unveils Artificial Humans #13-15. “I modified their designs a bit but they’re based on designs from another dimension!” the mad scientist explains. Vegeta: Xeno scoffs, saying that he’s defeated them before and can again. Transforming into a Super Saiyan 4, Vegeta: Xeno begins battling the three by himself. Meanwhile, Gokuu: Xeno leaps over Cumber’s head to slam a close-range Ten-Times Kamehame-Ha into Cumber’s back. Cumber turns around and reaches through the red wave to slug the still-upside down Gokuu: Xeno in the nose and send him flying. Vegeta reluctantly tosses Kakarotto a Potara and says that this is their only hope. Meanwhile, Trunks and Slug are cut-off on their path to Mai’s group by Shuura and Bojack. Trunks, having recovered his sword during the escape from the coliseum, battles Bojack as a Super Saiyan Ikari. Bojack powers-up into Super Bojack and gains the upper-hand on Trunks. Meanwhile, Shuura must now contend with Slug in his prime and is actively having his ass beaten. Elsewhere, Cumber creates an artificial moon and transforms into a Giant Monkey. Vegetto Blue has difficulty keeping up with the Giant Monkey, even after using the Kaiou-ken Blue!
  51. •B Part: Aware that he’s only being distracted from helping the others Vegeta: Xeno decides to call off arresting Fuu for now and flies off at full-speed to help fight Cumber. Fuu swears revenge once his plan has borne fruit. Elsewhere, Slug finds himself in a pickle when Shuura breaks the chains sealing his power with a chant of some sort and turns the battlefield into a hurricane. Trunks and Slug work together and just barely escape the field but realize that now they’ll have to try and travel around the massive special field if they want to help Mai’s group. Meanwhile, Cumber crushes Vegetto Blue in his hands. Vegeta: Xeno arrives on the scene and uses Potara with Gokuu: Xeno to become Super Saiyan 4 Vegetto: Xeno. Vegetto: Xeno blinds Cumber with a Taiyou-ken and pries Vegetto Blue from Cumber’s grasp. Together the two Vegetto’s use the Final Kamehame-Ha to send Cumber flying across the ocean onto a different continent. Both Vegetto’s split back into their original bodies, totally exhausted and their Potara shattered from overuse. The four Saiyans rest and eat Capsule Corp. food to recover their strength. Gokuu asks his counterpart how many Senzu he has left and learns it is but five remaining Senzu. Gokuu tries to stand but finds that he cannot, the prolonged use of the Kaiou-ken has crushed his muscles. The four Saiyans decide to eat Senzu after all before resuming their journey toward Trunks. Meanwhile, Cumber picks himself up off the mountain his massive form crashed on and roars in anger. “Fight! I want to fight even more!!” the crazed Saiyan roars before flying off back towards his foes. On the other side of the hurricane Trunks and Slug find that the more they try to go around the more the hurricane seems to move to block their path. Slug remembers one of his old techniques and uses it to grow massive. With Trunks on his shoulder, Slug ‘steps over’ the hurricane before shrinking back to normal size. The two escapees then fly off toward the approaching Cumber. Vegeta finally begins to sense Trunks’ ki but knows that Cumber is approaching them from behind. Gokuu and Vegeta transform into Super Saiyan God and use their powers in this form to grow the forest beneath them into a truly tall forest, tall enough to delay Cumber. Cumber begins to try to break through the forest through brute force but finds the tall and thick trees are strong in their own right. Eventually, the Bruits Waves in his body fade out and Cumber returns to his human form. Enraged that he is being held off the ‘Saiyan of Evil itself’ transforms into a Super Saiyan and begins to make his way through the forest at full-speed.
  52. •Ending:
  53. •At last, Mai and Trunks and reunited but it’s a bittersweet reunion with Cumber approaching from behind and Bojack and Shuura from ahead.

  55. Episode #6: “The Evil Saiyan: Cumber (Part 2)”
  56. •Vegeta: Xeno unveils his Capsule containing a time ship that will allow him and Gokuu: Xeno to return home. Gokuu: Xeno isn’t ready to return without arresting Fuu but Vegeta: Xeno explains that Fuu has already abandoned the Prison Planet. Trunks apologizes but promises to give it his all to help them capture Fuu. “No,” Gokuu: Xeno replies, “This battle is our mission, not yours. This Cumber bastard is your guys’ problem!” Vegeta: Xeno frowns and says that he’d rather stick around long enough to help subdue Cumber. Gokuu: Xeno reluctantly agrees and enters the forest with the others to stop Cumber once and for all.
  57. •Opening:
  58. •Trunks and the others try to ambush Cumber but now that he is a Super Saiyan his power is even greater than before. Cumber kicks a Power Ball into the sky to try to transform into a Giant Monkey again but the thickened and enlarged trees block the Power Ball. Distracted by his disgruntlement at the failure of his plan Cumber is entrapped in Slug’s elongated arms.

  60. •A Part: Cumber breaks free of Slug’s arms only to be slammed by blasts from all five Saiyans. The smoke clears but Cumber’s moxie appears unwavering. Vegeta: Xeno realizes that although Cumber’s bark isn’t weakening his bite definitely is. All the pummeling the Saiyan of Evil took up to this point has gradually weakened his body. “Cumber doesn’t notice this because of his strong spirit his body will eventually fail to carry out his will!” reasons Vegeta: Xeno. Everyone agrees to team up to hit Cumber in his most critical spots but that plan falls apart when Shuura and the Bojack Gang arrive. Trunks, Slug, Gokuu: Xeno and Vegeta: Xeno team up against Bojack’s gang and Shuura while Gokuu and Vegeta continue to battle Cumber. Meanwhile, the chains holding the Prison Planet together reach their breaking point at last and snap. As the Prison Planet begins to self-destruct Fuu, now housed on a spaceship up above the planet cluster, teleports what specimen he can save from the planet to his ship while cursing Slug for his betrayal but reflects that at least his plan is one step closer to fruition. Suddenly, five invaders blast their way onto Fuu’s ship. “You lot are...” Back on the Prison Planet, Cumber finally freezes up, unable to move, just as the planet begins to split apart. Gokuu tells Gokuu: Xeno to teleport everyone to safety while he distracts Cumber. Cumber’s roaring never ceases but it becomes apparent that his blows no longer move as quickly as his mind. Super Saiyan Blue Gokuu paralyzes his foe further with a one-inch punch to the chest that takes Cumber’s breath in more ways than one. Throughout the forest, Trunks and the two Vegetas combine their exhausted forces to pin down and knock Bojack unconscious. Slug meanwhile has sacrificed limbs to deal unexpected knock-out blocks to Bojack’s men to get his hands on Shuura. Shuura reverses the situation with his magic but Super Saiyan 4 Gokuu: Xeno sneaks behind Shuura thanks to his newly restored Shunkan-idou and pierces his torso with a Ryuu-ken! Gokuu: Xeno scowls at Slug but Slug struggles to recall ever meeting him before. Finally, Gokuu uses a combination of strikes to paralyze Cumber’s body. Cumber howls at his predicament but can nevertheless not move. Gokuu tells Cumber that he hates that he had to fight him with others’ help but since Cumber wouldn’t leave innocents like Mai out of this he had no other choice to swallow his pride. “Maybe next time we can fight all-out without others to get in the way?” Suddenly, the forest is wiped off the face of the planet.
  61. •B Part: Gokuu and the others pick themselves out from the debris of the forest to find Cumber being lifted toward a group of five warriors. Upon sight of Zamasu—now adoring an eye-patch over his right eye—Gokuu instinctually enters Ultra Instinct. Hearts explains that he’s quite busy and cannot play around with Gokuu and the others. Hearts uses his gravity-manipulation ability to slam his foes all to the ground. Much to his chagrin, Cumber is enveloped in Hearts’ ki and teleports away with the troupe. With Zamasu gone Gokuu passes out and returns to his normal form.
  62. •Ending:
  63. •Back on Beers’ world Gokuu and the big Gokuu: Xeno and Vegeta: Xeno farewell as they return to the Time Patrol. Gokuu and Vegeta decide to go and train with the Grand Priest.
