  1. [12:36] <04&Toffee_Latte> [00:34] * &Toffee_Latte sits down in the elevator with an 'oof', unzipping her coat and running a hoof through her mane, adjusting her pink maneband. "So, what are all your names?" She asks the other three.

  3. [12:36] <04&Toffee_Latte> [00:41] <10+Starch> The maid bowed and answered her, "Introducing Mr. Wigglesworth, Mr. Tawkes, and I, Miss Pines."
  4. [12:36] <04&Toffee_Latte> [00:42] * &Toffee_Latte nods to them, smiling. "It's really nice to meet you all!" She says happily. "And uhm, you don't have to bow to me either, really, it's alright." [ping Starch]
  5. [12:36] <04&Toffee_Latte> [00:48] <10+Starch> "Common courtesy, miss. You are a guest and we are your humble servants," Miss Pines added. Wigglesworth chimed in, "You are doing us a great service, Miss Latte. Meetings with other corporat executives would not be complete without the absolute best we can offer them. Thank you for offering your skills."
  6. [12:36] <04&Toffee_Latte> [00:50] * &Toffee_Latte nods to them, smiling a awkwardly. "It's nothing really. I love cooking!" She says, tail swishing a bit.

  9. [12:46] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "Quite," Wigglesworth comments. The elevator doors opens to reveal a large atrium, one of with great space and elegancy. The mood is set by soft lights as they are fashionable and expensive carpets, tables, and chairs scattered throughout, all positioned precisely and meticulously. Toffee's three escorts walk out of the elevator and begin to go through it.
  10. [13:02] * &Toffee_Latte oooohs, limping along after them and looking around. "This is really nice..."
  11. [13:19] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Miss Pines nods and says, "We aim for the pinnacle of perfection, Miss Latte. We would be nothing without it." They continue through the atrium until they reach a hallway. Going down it, they come to another extravagant entrance. There were double doors that had two well suited buffalos in front of it.
  12. [13:20] * &Toffee_Latte continues limping along, looking around and nodding as they spoke. "I can tell, I won't disappoint!" She says, smiling.
  13. [13:22] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "You shouldn't fear about disappointing us, Miss Latte," Wigglesworth says. The buffalos open the door for the group, showing the expansive dining room within. Table upon table upon table, with a large rectangular table in the middle of it all to host a grand feast. Wigglesworth motions to the entire dining room, "you have another audience to please."
  14. [13:23] * &Toffee_Latte ooooohs. her tail starting to swish. "Where's the kitchen at?"

[13:31] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "This way," Wigglesworth adds before going to another double door, be them smaller and more accessible for waiters/waitresses with tiny windows so that cooks could look out onto the grand mess hall. They go through the doors into the extensive kitchen. "Here is where you'll be working your magic," Miss Pines says."
  20. [13:34] * &Toffee_Latte gasps, and then squees as she looks around, wiggling happily. "Oooooh! I love it~!" She mrees, beginning to quickly limp around the kitchen and looking at everything! [ping Jenny_Smooth]
  21. [13:40] <10+Jenny_Smooth> The three let Toffee finish her bouncing before continuing with their instructions. "There will be dinner tonight at about 7 o' clock. More chefs will arrive to help you prepare but for now, get as familiar with the kitchen as possible. It shall be busy soon enough," Wigglesworth says.
  22. [13:40] * &Toffee_Latte nods to them. "Okay, is there a menu for tongight that I can look at to know what we're making?"

  24. [13:48] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "Oh, yes. Of course!" Pines walks over to a cabinet and takes out a booklet with several titles and orders on them. "Here will be the menu. Different varieties of vegetables, fruits, and there is a prime selection of meats for the acquired tastes out there."
  25. [13:48] * &Toffee_Latte nods, taking the menu in her hoof and reading it over, adjusting her glasses. "What time is it now?" She asks.
  26. [13:52] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "Three hours past noon," Wigglesworth says. "So settle in, Miss Latte," Miss Pines adds. "If you wish to know which room you're staying in, it's on the 13th level, room number 1306."
  27. [13:53] * &Toffee_Latte nods to the three, smiling. "Okay, if you don't mind, I'm going to look around the kitchen a bit more okay?"
  28. [13:59] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "Do as you will, however, all chefs will be required to be in the kitchen half an hour before seven. And be sharp, please," Wigglesworth says in a kind tone, though there was a certain stern emotion behind it. "But do get comfortable, Miss Latte. Thank you again for helping us," Miss Pines nods and bows.
  29. [14:13] * &Toffee_Latte smiles at all of them, nodding. "Will do!"

  31. [14:18] <10+Jenny_Smooth> The three all bow and turn to leave. "Enjoy your stay, Miss Latte," Wigglesworth says last before Tawkes opens the door for the two ponies and lets them exit. Tawkes, the hellhound, gives one final glance back at Toffee, making eye contact for a brief second before leaving the kitchen and joining the other two. Now Toffee is alone.
  32. [14:26] * &Toffee_Latte smiles at Tawkes, before sighing, running a hoof through her mane. She looks around again, before beginning to look through the kitchen again, hmmming. She needed someplace safe and hidden that she could place items.
  33. [14:33] <10+Jenny_Smooth> There are countless shelves and cabinets filled with pots, pans, spatulas, and all other kinds of utensils and kitchen necessities. Toffee has free reign in the kitchen playground.
  34. [14:34] * &Toffee_Latte touches the revolver hidden underneath her coat, but decides to keep it on her for now. She begins to hum, looking for a list of the other chefs that were going to be here tonight.
  35. [14:36] <10+Jenny_Smooth> There were a slew of chefs of different varieties: earth ponies, unicorns, pegasi, some griffons, and even one or two buffalo.
  36. [14:40] * &Toffee_Latte nods, putting the list back before picking up her things again. She decides to head up to her room for now, heading out of the kitchen and locating the elevator to take her to her room.

  51. [22:56] <10+Jenny_Smooth> She reaches the 13 floor, her room being 6 rooms away from the elevator. The hallway as ostentatious as the rest of the building: fine carpets, scenic lights, etc.
  52. [22:58] * &Toffee_Lattee yawns a bit, deciding that she could use a quick nap. She unlocks her room, stepping inside and looking around.

  54. [23:50] <10+Jenny_Smooth> It was more of a hotel room than Toffee had envisioned with a queen sized bed, a TV-set, extensive bathroom, and a window view overlooking the city.
  55. [23:51] <04&Proverb> Toffee ooohs, and then giggles, flopping onto the bed and murring. "Mmmm... soft...."
  56. [23:56] <10+Jenny_Smooth> There is a knock at the door.
  57. [23:57] <04&Proverb> Toffee perks her ears up, getting back to her hooves and opening the door. "Yes?"
  58. [23:57] <10+Jenny_Smooth> There is no one there but a envelope lies on the ground in front of the door.
  59. [00:02] <04&Proverb> Toffee blinks, picking up the envelope and heading back to her bed, sitting down and opening the envelope.
  60. [00:04] <10+Jenny_Smooth> There is a note on the inside of the letter. The note simply reads, "We know who you are." There is nothing more.
  61. [00:09] <04&Proverb> Toffee blinks a few times, turning the note over a few times, before frowning. 'But how...?"
  62. [00:12] <10+Jenny_Smooth> The clock on the cabinet reads "3:30". There is still time to scan the hotel, kitchen, anywhere to find Jenny if she so desires.
  63. [00:17] <04&Proverb> Toffee tucks the note away, getting up. She pokes her head out of her room, deciding to begin the search for Jenny!
  64. [00:19] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Toffee remembers there being a map to entire building in the kitchen, found on the wall. She could use that to possibly find where Jenny could be located.
  65. [00:21] <04&Proverb> Toffee heads down there first!
  66. [00:24] <10+Jenny_Smooth> She is back in the kitchen. Next to the double doors leading to the dining room, there is a map on the wall.
  67. [00:27] <10+Jenny_Smooth> It is folded up and held in a container. Above it, it reads: "directory".
  68. [00:29] <04&Proverb> Toffee begins to look over the map, hmming as she looks it over. "Jenny... jenny... jenny..."
  69. [00:31] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Through the windows of the double door, there is movement.
  70. [00:34] <04&Proverb> Toffee is muttering quietly to herself, before flicking her ears and looking up, opening the door slightly. "Hello?"
  71. [00:36] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Sitting at a table are two ponies with outfits that match the building that they're in. One is in a dark blue dress while the other is in a checkered suit and fedora. Taking a close look reveals that the both of them are also mares.
  72. [00:38] <04&Proverb> Toffee smiles at them. "Hello!" She says cheerily.
  73. [00:43] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Before she blurts out the word, she's taken back into the kitchen and a large furry object is placed over her mouth which is stopping her from saying anything.
  74. [00:45] * &Proverb mmmfs! throwing her hoof out to try and uppercut whatever just grabbed her.
  75. [00:47] <04&Proverb> Toffee*
  76. [00:49] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Her uppercut meets a furry but brick-like stomach. She's then pulled back and restrained onto the ground with a large paw. Her assailant is Tawkes, the hellhound from earlier.
  77. [00:53] * &Proverb screams, only to have it muffled by the hellhound as she stares up at him, wide eyed.
  78. [00:59] <04&Proverb> Toffee*
  79. [01:22] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Tawkes simply looks down at her with a stare and slowly begins to speak, "Miss Latte. Please be quiet."
  80. [01:27] <04&Proverb> Toffee droops her ears, whimpering and nodding to Tawkes.
  81. [01:33] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "I take my paw off your mouth, will you swear that you won't scream?" Tawkes asks Toffee.
  82. [01:33] <04&Proverb> Toffee nods to Tawkes.
  83. [01:38] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "Thank you." Tawkes takes his paw of her mouth and stands there, waiting to make sure that she holds up her side of the deal.
  84. [01:38] <10+Jenny_Smooth> off*
  85. [01:39] <04&Proverb> Toffee doesn't scream, looking up at Tawkes. "Wh-what do you want with me?" She asks him quietly.
  86. [01:40] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "I need you to use your ears and eyes, Miss Latte." He then picks her up and brings her to the double door windows. "Look outside. Who do you see?"
  87. [01:41] * &Proverb peers out the window carefully.
  88. [01:42] <10+Jenny_Smooth> The same two ponies out there, still sitting. The mare in the suit is having a smoke while the mare in the dress is having some wine.
  89. [01:43] <04&Proverb> Toffee studies them, trying to figure out who they are. "Who are they?"
  90. [01:45] <10+Jenny_Smooth> The mare in the dress is unfamiliar but the mare in the suit has the same purple fur and black mane that strikes a chord in Toffee's brain. The mare's gray eyes are looking at the mare in the dress the same way that those eyes looked at Toffee when they looked upon her weeks ago.
  91. [01:49] * &Proverb smiles. "Well, one of them is Jenny, but I don't know who the other is."
  92. [01:57] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "So you do know who she is then." Tawkes's grip around Toffee suddenly grows tighter. She brings her away from the window and puts her against the wall, not harshly but sternly. "How do you know her, Miss Latte?"
  93. [01:58] * &Proverb squeaks, her eyes growing wide again. "Sh-she's just a friend!"
  94. [02:05] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "We were informed that you were a resident of Baltimare with no ties to the Smooth Trotters." Tawkes does get violent but his calm voice has some deadliness to it.
  95. [02:06] * &Proverb pouts at Tawkes. "So I can't have friends now? Is that it?"
  96. [02:11] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Tawkes tilts his head at her. "I did not say that. It is simply suspicious that a high ranking member of an invitied guest company has an 'inside-mare' cooking in the kitchen. That could be dangerous. Do you understand?"
  97. [02:15] * &Proverb sticks her tongue out at Tawkes. "I'm not an 'inside-mare'. I'm a cook."
  98. [02:27] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "You are. It would be best if it stayed that way. For the health of you, Miss Smooth, and everyone else in the hotel," Tawkes says as his grip on her loosens up.
  99. [02:33] * &Proverb smiles at Tawkes. "Now, could you let me get my map so I don't get lost please? And, if you like touching me so much, perhaps you could help me with some cooking prep~? That's what I came down here for anyway."
  100. [02:39] * Proverb is now known as TicTac|Sleeps
  101. [02:40] <10+Jenny_Smooth> Tawkes lets Toffee onto the ground and simply looks her over. "Before you go, I would like give you a piece of advice. If you want to hear it, of course."
  102. [02:41] <04&TicTac|Sleeps> Toffee smiles at Tawkes. "Sure."
  103. [02:43] <10+Jenny_Smooth> "You can let Miss Smooth be your friend as much as you want, miss. Just watch your back and keep an eye on anyone who's too friendly. Even me," Tawkes finishes.
