  1. I know what your solution is. It's something about "we have laws, apply them"
  2.
  3. Wow, nobody ever thought of that!
  4.
  5. It's honestly a pretty good, if absurd, encapsulation of how stupid this whole situation is. Just have the institutions fix it, because institutions are totally divorced from who they govern and law & order is never up to any kind of discretion or political finaggling. I do love it when people from relatively homogeneous nations or areas pretend diversity is easy to manage. Like the Gated Community Multiculturalist they really just dont get it and think everyone is just doing things wrong.

  7. Blacks already are involved with the law more. This has done nothing to improve their behavior. I bet you will say they havent been involved enough and are being underpoliced. Okay. Would that suddenly change things? I dont think so. And I've seen no evidence to suggest it. Lots of underdeveloped nations have more authoritarian policing than America, but I always saw that as a response to the criminality rather than curing it.

  9. Moreover, if you think they are being protected, well you've acquiesced that law and order is a political football and we are right back to square one where what you want is politically opposed by the Coalition of Color.
  10.
  11. But what strikes me as most fascinating is how you do nothing to support this view. It's just thrown out not because t's a good solution or point but because it is hard to attack (because there is nothing here but the assertion)
  12.
  13. And the nations which actually do enforce the law strictly against troublesome groups tend to be what I want: chauvinistic. They of course have other qualities but that one translates to strict policing most cleanly. Since the lack of it is clearly evident in our failures to properly administer law and order to culturally enricheed areas
