Lambda Facility 848 Subject 0001

Subject 0001 - "The First"

Origin: Unknown

Threat Level: Alpha (High)

Segment: Alpha (High) Containment D

Containment Procedure:
Subject 0001 must remain ALONE on Alpha (High) Containment D at all times outside of extremely monitored testing, this cannot be stressed enough. Subject 0001 is to be kept in a locked, reinforced steel, soundproof container at all times. Any Omicron or Psi class personnel entering the Subject's container must be accompanied by no fewer than four (4) Omega class personnel. No personnel with a violent background may enter its container. Conversations with Subject 0001 should be avoided unless advised otherwise. Noise cancelling ear-muffs required for any Psi level personnel entering the container. Keep under constant surveillance, no fewer than five (5) cameras active in the container at any time, with absolutely no blind spots.

Discovery:
Found terrorizing the town of [REDACTED], Ohio in 19[REDACTED]. The fist led to the creation of Project Lambda under High Overseer [REDACTED] by President [REDACTED]. The creature made its lair in a cave just outside the town, capturing and ingesting townsfolk and travelers for nourishment. Subject 0001 was apprehended by regular military after a fierce fight, resulting in [REDACTED] casualties. Procedure 1433 of the United States Government was issued and [REDACTED] which proved to be successful in its cover-up. Subject 0001 was transported to the newly built Lambda Facility 1, later to be transferred to Lambda Facility 170 in 19[REDACTED] and then again to Lambda Facility 848 in 20[REDACTED]

Description:
Subject 0001 is a humanoid creature shrouded in a wispy, black, mist. It stands at roughly eight feet and possesses extreme strength and cunning. Subject 0001 is capable of speech, and apparently can read the minds of those it interacts with. It is capable of recalling events far into the past of personnel in contact with it. The being can also incite violent acts from otherwise unwilling personnel in contact with it, as recorded in both Document B and Addendum B-1. Subject 0001 seems to enjoy trying to manipulate and taunting personnel, stating that "if (it) really wanted to (it) could leave at any time."

Document A (Test 0000-0001)

Initial testing resulted in the death of five (5) staff members. Subject 0001 was angry with its imprisonment, and Project Lambda was ill-equipped. Two (2) Omicron class personnel and three (3) Omega class personnel were locked in the container and, after a brief conversation, Omega 104 turned his rifle on Omega 56, firing and terminating him. Omega 104 was quickly dispatched, but almost immediately the remaining personnel were attacked by Subject 0001 directly. Requests to unlock the container were denied. Testing delayed.

Document B (Test 0000-0002)

1 [REDACTED] headset

Rho 21 accompanied by four (4) Omega class personnel entered Subject 0001's container and were locked inside. Brief, uneventful conversation (See addendum B-1) occurred between Rho 21 and Subject 0001, resulting in Rho 21 attacking the Omega class personnel, leading to his termination. Analysis of the conversation and background of Rho 21 resulting in the conclusion that no persons of violent background may interact with Subject 0001 at any time. Most notable difference in Subject 0001 during Test 0000-0002 was its willingness to communicate and its noticeable laughter as Rho 21 turned irate.

Rho 21 - "So those guys want me to come talk to you"
*Rho 21's Headset* (Operated by Omicron 8, now Chi [REDACTED]) - "Refer to us as Project Lambda please, and not 'those guys' Rho 21"
Rho 21 - "Ok. So those Project Lambda guys wanted me to come talk to you."
Subject 0001 - "Project Lambda. Is that what this little carnival is calling itself?"
Rho 21 - "Yeah haha, I guess so. Anyway, they wanted me to ask where you were from."
Subject 0001 - "Hm. Can I ask a question first?"
Rho 21 - "Uhh yeah. Sure."
Subject 0001 - "How did it feel?"
Rho 21 - "How did what feel?"
Subject 0001 - "When you brought the hammer down into her skull" *Subject 0001 audibly snickers here*
Headset - Ignore him Rho 21
Subject 0001 - "Don't listen to them. I know you liked it. Didn't you?"
Rho 21 - "N-no... No I regret it man. Hey can I get out of here?"
Subject 0001 - *Audibly snickering* "Come now [REDACTED]. You were right to [REDACTED]. Don't you remember?"
*Rho 21 visibly shakes, screams. Omega class personnel ready their firearms*
Subject 0001 - "Go get them tiger"

At this point Rho 21 assaulted the Omega personnel and was quickly dispatched.

Document C (Test 0000-0004)

Omicron 8 (Now Chi [REDACTED] personally entered Subject 0001's container accompanied by four (4) Omega class personnel. The interview was moderately successful (see Addendum C-1), and Omicron 8 was able to obtain material for testing (Analysis found in Addendum C-2) after gaining the approval of Subject 0001. Omicron 8 noted that Subject 0001 seemed to be hiding its true level of intelligence and power. When given a collection of logic puzzles Subject 0001 managed to solve them at a glance. This leads to the question of how Subject 0001 does not manage to escape. Further testing required.

Omicron 8 - "Hello Subject 0001. I am Omicron 8."
Subject 0001 - "I know who you are. You were the voice in [REDACTED] ear. No need to use those silly code names with me [REDACTED]"
Omicron 8 - "Yes I communicated with Rho 21 during his interview with you."
Subject 0001 - "I recall. Such a violent man. I don't know why you would put me with such a dangerous individual." *Subject 0001 audibly snickers*
Omicron 8 - "I've come to ask you some questions. Can you please interact with me?"
*Subject 0001 pauses, seeming to concentrate. Not breaking gaze with Omicron 8*
Subject 0001 - "Very well. Ask away."
Omicron 8 - "Were you just doing something?"
Subject 0001 - "Yes."
Omicron 8 - "What you did to Rho 21 correct?"
Subject 0001 - "Yes. Astute observation [REDACTED]."
Omicron 8 - "Were you reading my memories."
Subject 0001 - "Met your wife at college. Two kids. You were bullied as a child. Had an affair with [REDACTED]. How horribly drab."
(Note: Psi 30 was removed from Omicron 8's team after the interview. No fraternization. Omicron 8 received his only warning)
Omicron 8 - *clears throat* "Can you tell me where you are from?"
Subject 0001 - "From? I've always been here. I was hoping I could ask you the same question."
Omicron 8 - "I'm sure you already know where I'm from."
Subject 0001 - "Not you in particular, you aren't all that important."
Omicron 8 - "Are you saying you predate the human race?"
Subject 0001 - "I saw you when you first started to walk on two legs."
Omicron 8 - "Amazing. Can you describe that time for me?"
Subject 0001 - "No. It's much too dull."
Omicron 8 - "Very well. We'd like to administer some tests here. Do you mind?"
*Subject 0001 nods*
Subject 0001 later solves logic puzzles at an alarmingly fast rate and agrees to give a sample of it's wispy mist

Addendum C-2
Analysis of Subject 0001's mist-like substance is inconclusive. No known elements are present and, after twenty four (24) hours the mist dissipated.

Document D (Test 0000-0193)
(Following the infamous Incident 16 after the recontainment of Subject 0001 and the death of Subject 0022 resulting from the Incident) It should be noted that Subject 0001 displayed a calm demeanor, prior to his episode of violence, resulting in the death of [REDACTED] staff members and Subject 0022. Omicron 8 (Later to become Chi [Redacted]) accompanied by four (4) Omega class personnel entered the newly secured container in Segment Alpha (High) Containment Level D.

Omicron 8 - "What happened Subject 0001. Why would you do such a thing?"
Subject 0001 - *Audibly snickers* "It was quite fun"
Omicron 8 - "You are lucky we didn't just terminate you. What you did was unacceptable"
Subject 0001 - "Do you think you could really do that?"
Omicron 8 - "We could. We've managed to contain you before this, and the error was the fault of [REDACTED]."
Subject 0001 - "You think I'm at your mercy?"
Omicron 8 - "You are!"
Subject 0001 - *Emits a loud laugh, much louder than his previously observed snickers* "Oh [REDACTED]. If I really wanted to, I could leave at any time. I just like it here."
Omicron 8 - "You couldn't make it past our security."
Subject 0001 - "I already have once."
Omicron 8 - "And yet you are here again. This container is much more secure than your first, and here you can't incite other Subjects."
*The container door unlocks here on its own, sounding the alarm. However, it quickly locks again and Subject 0001 audibly snickers. Silence follows*
Omicron 8 - "Why do you stay?"
Subject 0001 - "I like watching you squirm"
Omicron 8 was too shaken to continue the interview. Subject 0001 is to be monitored at all times and, upon escape, immediately terminated. If Subject 0001 enters any of the upper levels Facility Eradication must be engaged.

Addendum D-1
Though further testing has produced only minor results (outside of Test 0000-0264, which is classified as Security Level VIII) it should be noted that Subject 0001 did not partake in Incident 462, though it had the means. Interview with Subject 0001 following this event led to the conclusion that Subject 0001 did not attempt escape because "(It) is having too much fun talking to the (Chis) now and not the (Omnicrons) [REDACTED] that act much more intelligent than they are."
