Due to her hybrid nature, she had no need of a Gigai and when she began developing her Quincy powers she began to show interest, in secret she developed her other side while training her Shinigami side. She grew to be quick an adaptive learner, quickly getting the hang of Kido and Hakuda fairly quickly. She would then in her teens, learn the name of her Zanpakuto, and later her Shikai. Learning of the Quincy and their war, she sided with the Shinigami, though saddened of their end. She proceeded then, to tamper with her bow, opting instead to not use the cross and instead, use her own reishi to make the bow. To her surprise, it came easy, and she learned to become proficient in using bows. She'd quickly make the rank of Captain, filling the seat of 7th Division. She'd then learn her Bankai.
