All the Starks have displayed some form of warging/greenseeing ability, not just Bran. May not effect what happens, but certainly has an effect on how things happen. For example Arya uses the eyes of a nearby cat to see when she was blind during her Faceless Man arc. Also a common theory for how Jon Snow survives his stabbing is that he wargs into Ghost until he can return to his body.

Show!Beric has seemingly replaced Book!Lady Stoneheart, with Stoneheart being a resurrected Catelyn Stark with a disposition as vengeful as Beric is benign.

The Dorne plotline is much bigger in the books. Several characters were written out of the show or killed off early.

There's a whole other Targaryen heir attempting to get the Iron Throne. Many book readers suspect that he's not a true Targ, but this remains to be seen.
