  67. Āıden Aberdene : ~The Vampire, a beast of sensuality incranted. Placed in a position that by rights should have ended with her blood trickling down that pale and beautifully bare shoulder. His heart would have been thundering at this point, if it still beat. His head and I don't mean the higher minded one would likely be throbbing in its own right. He could feel the waves of heat radiating off her form and sinking into his own. Could see it too if you included the fact that in this moment of heated tension her skin prickled and caused the halo around her bare shoulders to expand that much further fogging that cold glass window behind her. Aiden, never hid his past activities from her, never once held from her sight the 'playboy' that he had evolved into. A thing he became which merely was protection and sanctuary to keep him from moments very much like this. Falling in love, was for Mortals, or so he had conditioned himself to believe. Because every time his heart found a reason to 'beat' it +

  92.
  93. Āıden Aberdene : was torn away from him, Now, now things were different. Margot could see the end of things, and knowing that she had come to terms with the pain, and the suffering it would cause. He felt a sense of contentedness, a sense of comfort unlike any he'd known before. Of course this came coupled with the desire to touch, and hold, and to feel her form against his own. To drink in the warmth of her skin, just as he drank the warmth of her blood. His fingers moved from their previous perches. Came upward to slide the straps of her bra across her shoulders to dangle over her arms. Then trailed downward to her wrists which were lifted upward to be gently pinned against the wooden window frame. His body pressing firmly to her own so that only fabric separated them, leaving her hopefully with little need to ever think back to her no doubt more riske visions. He wanted her, and he wanted her to know it. He wanted her to feel just how beautiful she was to him. She could see the future -c-

  107. Āıden Aberdene : but could she live in the moment? Soon her wrists would be crossed over her head, and held by a single hand. His fingers moved along her shoulder, to her hips, along her sides as if he was intent to unclasp the flimsy metal that held that flimsy fabric free of her chest. His lips finding the crown of her ear, and teeth teasingly grazing the flesh. If she thought him evil before, then she would surely think him worse now. His fingers slipped down reversing direction, thumb hooking the straps of her designer britches, and then, with a snap of elastic they'd be left where they hung so that his hand could drop the handle of the door and push it open. " But if we're going to make love, it might as well be in the hot tub " he said finally pressing his lips along the line of her jaw. " After all, less mess to clean up " -end-

  122.
  123. Ŕŷdėŕ : Might be a tad quiet at the moment. Everyone is slowly coming around and posting))
  124.
  125. Ŕŷdėŕ : |Ryder decided it was time to explore. See what had changed. Head into the forest, maybe see if that spot where the gates to hell had opened was in better shape. Definitely head into town, see what was new. There was always something happening around here. Just a matter of finding it. If he could get himself in some trouble and actually amuse himself for a while? So much the better.| I wonder if those debts in town for the destroyed buildings were ever forgiven... |Some conflicts in town during the time Eva had vanished wound up breaking buildings, and it wasn't long after that before Ryder vanished as well. Oh well, save that for later. For now, he wandered as far into the forest as he could remember. Hoping to find the spot the gates had opened and everything... well pretty much literally went to hell. Where was it? Not that he would open the gates or even had the ability to do so, but he wanted to take that little stroll down memory lane. He'd done enough of that inside, and this?<
  126.
  127. Ŕŷdėŕ : This was one of the last few stops on his little trip. An important one, to be sure.| What direction was that damn thing in...? It's been so long.. |Ryder began just sort of.. wandering aimlessly. Hoping that his instincts would take him to the place he couldn't bring to the front of his mind. It was a long shot, but worth trying. Maybe he would come across something else interesting. Hopefully nothing so interesting that it might get him killed, but interesting enough to keep him engaged for a little while, anyway. It was so quiet around here, and it was getting boring not running into anyone in the manor. He might have to resort to making his own fun somehow. Which... might end badly. Oh well. Maybe he should get some practice drafting quickly. Trees were good targets... just maybe avoid sub-red. No need to start a fire.| Might as well, give me something to do. |Green was first. A thick ball of it, smelling vaguely of pine and resin. He threw it with all his might at a nearby tree<
  128.
  129. Ŕŷdėŕ : and watched it impact with enough force to ricochet back in his direction at full speed. Oh shit. He had to duck to avoid it, and watched it impact another tree at an angle and take off. Well. That was probably going to be going for a while. Blue was next, formed in a thin blade like shape, thrown at the same tree as the green. The small, blue, blade-like object stuck itself deep in the bark. No point in a few colours. He had no interest in starting a forest fire that he couldn't put out. He'd almost burned down a chunk of the forest before, and boy had Eva been mad about that. Superviolet, set up a few invisible trp wires behind him. Might make for some amusement if someone fell over and had no idea why. Not bad, he wasn't as fast as he used to be. Needed to work on that. But, for now, it would do. Off to town. It seemed he wasn't going to find that spot. Which might be for the better. No need to go and accidentally open the gates to hell.| Now... which direction was town from here...

  157. Margot : ••• The lingering thoughts in the back of mind fluttered, distantly calling her attention until they were promptly shooed to the shelf by the focus Aiden pulled into her. Her senses bristled, small hairs on the nape of her neck standing as every nerve ending left in the wake of his touch tingled with an electric hum. His hands guided her thoughts, scrying with practiced hands outward from the center of her chest to slip the barely-present straps of lace off of her shoulders. As the vampire collected her hands to lift them overhead, she realized she had forgotten to breathe, head swimming in an ardent haze as a result. The seer drew in a conscious, slow breath as he pinned her wrists to the frame of the door, fingers curled limply. Her back arched with the length of her stretched out between he and the door. Their figures closed the space between them in time with one another, meeting in the middle before she caved to the pressure of his body against hers. What little was between-c

  159. Margot : them -- a few slips of lace for Margot and the thin boxers left on Aiden-- might as well not have been. Feeling like each of her senses were piquing simultaneously, the withy clairvoyant struggled with where to shift her attention next. The cool, graze of his chest through the textured trappings of lace and the resulting friction (both physically and mentally) was mirrored down the length of her, where flesh and bone met in near choreographed motion. A frisson crawled down her spine, echoing after the forward calling card desire that he left on her skin with hands and mouth. With his lips (and for fuck’s sake, his -teeth-) grazing her ear, and his hands threatening to whisk the underpinnings straight off of her in one sure motion, Margot felt her knees weaken. Her heart fluttered in palpitating, fleeting murmurs. Her breaths came uneven, breathing air in gulps. Her pupils dilated, her skin on fire as she internally trembled. He spoke, her head tilted toward him to encourage the-c

  161. Margot : mouth at her jaw, pressing into his lips with nubile, graceless desire. ‘I don’t know what I’m doing’ half of her brain reminded her in a small, wispy voice, while the other encouraged her with a stronger tenor ‘But it feels right.’ And it was true-- no foresight could have prepared her for the strong sense of home and solace that Aiden provided. Every part of her reached out for him, body shifting without her conscious consent, meeting and falling apart in perfect time. Visions paled in comparison to reality, and even those distant, fragile reminders had been enough to get her here. And now that they were here together, it was clear that every fiber of her being wanted nothing more in the world than to be his. Everything else fell out of focus, and she basked in the very real (-finally- real) comfort of being in his grasp. Margot followed his guide without protest, weight vacillating between his arms as she floated on the high of their shared ardor until his words grounded her-c
  162.
  163. Margot : again. She was anxious. Not wanting to collapse in on what was happening with sudden, complex self-conscious thoughts, she forced herself to breathe as they slipped outside the open door, drawing a cold, sobering breath. Assuming (in reality, knowing) where they were headed, Margot walked in backward paces toward the hot tub, one hand catching his to beckon him toward her. Stopping only once she felt the chilly exterior of the tub, toes curling in the freshly fallen snow. Fuck, it was so cold. With her coquette demeanor momentarily aside, she glanced up at him from under heavy, snow-laden lashes. “Be gentle” she warned, biting the inside of her lip.•••

  179. Niko : -=Snow. It was soft, and hard, and sometimes it was wet, but sometimes it was also dry. It was fun to play with as well, but mostly it was just cold. Niko liked snow. Des loathed it. The two argued over going out to make a snow man as they had laid in bed that morning, but finally Niko had managed to convince his darker half that they probably wouldn't have another chance while they were here, and Des had relented. Clad in two pairs of thick socks, hiking boots, thermal -c-
  180.
  181. Āıden Aberdene : Aiden's senses the senses of a hunter crafted beautifully a kindle of passion that was set ablaze by the movements of Margot's body. The way she shifted, pushing herself into him like a cat craven for the attentions of its person, the sound of her heart beat within the confines of those lovely breasts which now pressed firmly to his chest. The scraps of fabric that made up their underclothing seemed to only create further friction between them. His body, wanted, and craved the rapture of hers. He made no assumption to her but could suffice in knowing that when she made those little noises of desire were notations of approval in his mind. Made only that much more evident by the way she moved when given the freedom to run from him. For so long Aiden had used these actions as a form of hunting, like an Incubus to get his prey where he wanted. Wanting, waiting, and lustful. Perhaps because he so often chose the more scrumpitious of woman to bring to his lair, would explain why -c-
  182.
  183. Niko : undies and a thick pair of jogging bottoms, Niko had chosen a long sleeved shirt that sported the words "If found, return to nearest pub", the slogan hidden by a tightly zipped up brown winter coat. His hair had been covered for a while by a hat but Des hated hats, and so it had been stuffed into a coat pocket and left there with a warning for the kid. Having spent most of the morning building snowmen, Niko had managed to get by with only a few comments to passing people. -c-
  184.
  185. Niko : -c- Nikomedes had kept his distance, having retreated into the depths of their joined, but split psyche. Freedom was not something that Niko got lots of and considering the chance to take a walk through the town, he'd taken it. Here and there he had paused along the way, once to buy a cup of hot chocolate and another to use the loo. Time was not something that Niko took notice of. He didn't really have much of a concept of it now anyway thanks to the serious trauma -c-
  186.
  187. Āıden Aberdene : Aiden suddenly found the look, and those words from Margot all the more endearing. ~Be Gentle~ It was a cruel fact that he could be gentle and tender even amid bringing a life to an end. For whatever reason he found himself compelled to raise his hand upward from her own and bringing his fingers along the length of her neck. His form coming towards her own in a graceful glide his fingers delicately framing her jaw as he let his eyes capture her own. " Margot " He brought his fingers softly across her cheek and leaned forward as if intending to press his lips to her own " I will be as silk to your skin. " his other hand moved sweetly along her hips and came to the lower back drawing her close. It would be here, that a idea was fashioned and crafted into a game of sorts. The name would be long but effectively explain itself. How close, could he come to kissing her, without actually kissing her, and how long until she broke and did the stealing herself? She might have known the +

  189. Niko : -c- he had endured for years at Valentine Asylum. His awareness of time was that bad, in fact, that he didn't realise how long he had been walking for. By the time Des surfaced, the pair in one found themselves deep in a wooded area, in all directions they could see, trees met with their vision. Des swore verbally, the sound forcing its way from Niko's mouth and out into the area. "Damnit kid." Des mentally clipped Niko over the back of his head, the way a big brother -c-
  190.
  191. Āıden Aberdene : answer but nonetheless he was there hovering over her lips as if intent to kiss her, but instead when he leaned it was to the side, so his cheek brushed against her own, and his fingers guided by site could flip the switch on the jets, and lights then with vulpine grace he raised himself into the warm waters of the tub. (Which at this point were a god sent to his aching bones, and other aching parts of his body. He held his hand outward to her. His eyes coming to rest upon her own. " I won't force you, I won't take anything you're not willing to give. So..." he smiled lovingly in her direction." It's cold as hell, But it's warm in here, and warm in the house..." He offered this as her chance to step back, to collect herself and decide if she actually wanted this. After all, this moment only happened once. Aiden would not steal it, nor would he force it from her by whims and dark allure. -end-
  192.
  193. Niko : -c- would to a smaller sibling. It wasn't intended to do harm, but to rather increase awareness. ...not that there was much point. Niko was beyond help. With a small grunt, Niko retaliated with, ~Apple cherryblossom PIKACHU!~ Of course, he said it mentally, and intentionally to wind up Des. He knew exactly what he was saying considering they always started the day with their meds. Nikomedes' reaction was the same as always. He slipped into control, pushing Niko aside -c-
  194.
  195. Niko : -c- without warning. Outwardly his appearance shifted a little. He stood taller, but not by much. His face darkened, head tilted forward a little and his hands rose to push his hair from his face. ~"Great. Now it's raining. Little shit'll pay for this later."~ Des narrowed his eyes as his hair began to stick to his head. With one last glance skyward to silently curse the rain, he took a moment to try and orientate himself. Nothing was familiar. Of course it wasn't. They -c-

  197. Niko : -c- hadn't been on the Isle of Skye long. Des had brought them there seeking refuge for Niko, a place where the kid could be himself and people wouldn't stare. There were most likely other reasons for Des wanting to be there, but they were unknown to the other side of the man. As he walked the snow crunched underfoot, the rain making it turn to semi-frozen sludge. There had to be a road near by. Niko never usually wondered that far off track. The fact that it had also now -c-

  199. Niko : -c- grown dark did not help. Another small curse came from him as he stepped over a fallen log and sank knee deep in a snow drift. He stayed still for a moment before pulling himself out, snow and ice falling from his trousers. ~You got us wet, silly.~ Des growled at Niko and the kid instantly fell silent. For a moment he let himself listen to his surroundings. The usual things could be heard, like owls, birds, foxes and the like.. but what more interested him was the sound -c

Usually there was blue mixed in to make it a little more on the stiff side. But this was just springy, flexible, solid green. Getting hit by that thing, moving at that speed? Would suck. But there was very little Ryder could do at this point. He had to wait for it to fade on its own. But the least he could do was make sure the person he heard nearby hadn't been hit by the damn thing. He didn't want anyone getting injured by it, but that wasn't really up to him. Dark, slightly longer hair left messy, wound up clinging to his forehead a bit. It took a fair amount of effort to move through snow that was deep like this. Easy to break a sweat, despite it being cold outside. Snowbanks were... prevalent. And were the enemy. Which.. around here could be taken quite literally on occasion.Any number of things had been brought to life by random short-term denizens of the manor. 283. Margot : ••• God, there was nothing (ahem, almost nothing) better than hearing her name on his mouth. Her cheek fell into his hand, resting there with a gentle, cold tremor. Punctuating his words, Aiden’s hands were just as promised: encouraging, but gentle. Under the guide of his hand, Margot’s eyes closed, lips parting briefly in anticipation as he leaned in and…turned the jets on to the hot tub. He disappeared from in front of her by the time her eyes had opened and she blinked into the open air with a small, surprised breath out. When she turned, he was holding a hand out toward her from the warm sanctuary of the hot tub, offering up options. Margot didn’t even consider the second option, nimbly climbing over the edge of the hot tub with a dancer’s grace. She sat on the edge of the hot tub, legs dipped in the water as the cold air grasped her open skin, prickling under the light rain-showers that she hadn’t noticed until now-- when there was just a bit of space between them. Steam rose off of the water, curling around her knees as she captured the mental image in front of her to file away forever: Aiden sitting in the hot tub in front of her, surrounded by the tenebrous wisps of mist and stark white snow as it rained, the cabin just close enough to the hot-tub to offer partial shelter. Water collected in his hair and dripped down the length of his face, crawling down his neck and rolling down his chest into the water. Warm and inviting, his eyes held her with equal anemoia-- a pang of nostalgia for something she had never known seized her by the stomach. Finally, the painful truth of their short time together struck her. On what might have seemed like impulse, she acted. With appetence, she moved through the swirling water between them. ‘No more empty space,’ she thought to herself, -c

She wouldn’t live much longer-- perhaps until Spring, if the slowly budding trees had been any indication in her visions. Her hands clasped his shoulders, knees parting to either side of him where he sat as her slender figure collided with his-- made of stone. The tension in the muscles there, waiting to spring for her made her crave him more on impulse alone-- she wasn’t really thinking anymore. It wasn’t the beginning of their cimmerian relationship, but it was a notable part of it, and the weight of that pulled her deep into dark waters. Her hips pressed into his before the rest of her, body soft in the warm pool as it followed. Once against him, she paused to search his expression, waiting for some indication of inclination. Yes? It sent a warning as it melted, a dollop of snow no bigger than her fist falling onto her head and tumbling over her shoulders to interrupt her sudden ardent haze. “…” she blinked, leaned back, and glanced up. The snow fell off of her head, plopping into the water to melt before she turned her glance back down to him, laughter bubbling out of her. “I want you.” she said between calming laughter, verdant hues settling on his after a quiet pause. All he had to do was say it out loud--he did too-- and they would begin their march toward the end.•••

He saw everything, the momentary hesitation, that turned to determination and was thus clouded by her own desires into a face of both desire and adoration, and while he was in the moment. Stop the thing now before it really does damage that you can't fix. Snowbanks were still the enemy, and impeded his progress on a regular basis. Though it didn't help that he was trying to move as quick as possible. What did he hit, and what was it going to cost him? That shattering glass sound happened again, and the green ball whizzed by his head another time. This was bad... But it could be worse. As long as it didn't kill, maim, or seriously injure anybody? Margot, because each passing moment wasn’t coming back-- Aiden, because he’d seen the spark of consent in her. The feeling of release was unreal, walls falling apart around her as he grabbed her by the hips and curled his hands up the length of her back. She sighed in automatic response, with withy lief escaping her in a moment she had pined for her entire adult life. Everything felt so fast. One hand was in her hair as he murmured her words back to her. His tongue canvassed his lips, his eyes skimmed the length of her neck. Following his words, the celerity of his movement made her gasp. One moment, his mouth was nearly on hers, and the next she was under water. Heat flooded her head, shoulders and neck. A brief glimpse of those lissome legs in all of their pale glory was offered above-water. Her head emerged quickly after, hand holding up the balled-up lace in front of herself to inspect--oh. -Oh-. She grinned a little to herself, dropping it back in the water. Though she wasn’t so modest as to shield her chest with a hand, her breasts remained comfortably under water-- not that it mattered, because whatever the hell Aiden was doing was of more pressing importance. She remained still, most of her submerged in warm water, the rest covered by a small mount of slowly-melting snow. A human ice-berg. When she started to laugh, realizing what had happened, it was warm and hysterical. “Aiden!” she cried gleefully, “Aiden!” again, this time with a hand reaching out from under the snow in a blind grasping motion. She shook her head and waved her arm in the snow, trying to break it up without standing or exposing too much of her skin to the snow as it parted around her. Though that did not mean that they vanished with one another at the expense of good friends and fun with them. No, no. Briefly separated by their jovial greetings with the beamish Jolene and her tempestuous toxicologist, Margot and Aiden folded themselves into the scene as if they were a completely normal pairing, amidst other entirely normal pairings. The seer had already swept thoughts of the pawing Maddie under the rug, practically preening after Aiden’s wordless response, fully realizing its rarity up until these days. With flushed cheeks and a bit more pep in her step, the sybil greeted her friends with matched excitement-- for Margot. Usually a bit more…tipsy? Definitely -normally- a lot more of a mess. Also, usually a bit more aloof. Was it the season? Others excited about the upcoming holidays might have thought so. And then tipped it back with distinct ease-- given the contents of the glass. Straight Rye. Good man. Of course, Jolene would not leave anyone out of the merriment. Just as soon as Margot was about to poke fun at the boys’ impending duet, the juvenescent Jolie turned her attentions on Margot. Shit. “A …good o-one?” she stammered as she held her hands up in front of herself. “I don’t really sing in front of people…” she could already feel herself being baited in by the bonhomie of her friend, though. It had all the aroma of the best parts of the holiday, she felt. “Cheers,” she offered before imbibing through a grin. Selfie set, with genuine mirth lighting them women’s faces, the two set their brainstorming plots into motion. “Oh no, not my saintly mouth!” Jolene lamented at Margot suggesting that the proposed song would see her swearing, laughing with her friend by the end. Her phone buzzed as the picture arrived, but she left it put away for now, knowing what it was. At the name of the song, Jolene stared in surprise. “Well, *that’s* one I haven’t heard before! Still, this didn't mean that she couldn't see him as he moved in a blur and set upon her. This broke the angel's concentration, still, she stood her ground, planting her feet. She handled his strength well enough, should he actually be throwing himself towards her, which in that case they were already an arms length from each other. There was only a cry from the seraph, for a moment she was stunned, by both that and the price of tampering with the curse, either way, she was sure that she was doing something to it, rather that means it becomes warped or some other thing. But inwardly, he was falling off the precipice once again. Seeing Margot, smiling, laughing, and being herself, being the woman he'd come to know and love was better than anything he had done in those long seven hundred and fifty odd years, and it brought him a human like warmth within the cockles of his heart. 1339. Ðamoп : and he took a quick look around the shop.- ".....well shit." -Merlyn's question finally sank through his fogged brain and he looked back over to her, fangs still glistening in what light there was coming in from the street.- "I'm ..not sure.." was his reply to her question.
