  1. Pie Crust

  3. 2 1/2 cups plain flour
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. 1 tsp sugar
  6. 250g butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
  7. 1/4 to 1/2 cup iced water
  8.  
  9. * In the bowl of a food processor, combine flour, salt and sugar. Add butter and process until it looks like course meal or bread crumbs (maybe 10 seconds)

  11. *With the processor running slowly add water in a slow and steady stream until the mix starts to hold together. You can pulse the machine as well. Do not over process. Squeeze a small amount and if it sticks together it is done, if not add more water 1 Tblsp at a time.

  13. * Divide dough into two, form into disks and refrigerate or freeze. If using the same day, chill for at least an hour.
