Hello everyone. The old links don't seem to work, but here is one I found that worked for me on Windows 10:

Note: the site is Russian, but the game itself is in English. I haven't detected any viruses from these downloads.

1. In the list of files, find the bottom-most entry "Образ диска" and click on the "Скачать файл" link. This will take you to a new window. This is the game's CD image file.

2. In the new window, click on the link at the bottom that says "[http ссылка]". This will start your download.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the penultimate file in the list on the main page, titled "Обновление". This is the game's WinXP patch and is supposed to allow you to play without a CD (without the image mounted), but I haven't tested it for lack of a need.

4. Upon downloading, extract both folders.

5. Mount the ISO through your preferred client ("SAGA_EV148" CUE file to do so).

6. You should now have an additional drive titled "X:\SAGA_EV159", where X is the letter of the drive.

7. Right-click on "Cryo.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 98/ME -> Run as administrator.

8. Run "Cryo.exe," this will install the game.

9. After installation, go back to the second folder you extracted, "SAG115". Inside you should find another zip file, also "SAG115". Extract that.

10. Therein you should find "Saga". Copy + paste that into the game directory.

11. You will be asked if you want to replace the existing "Saga" file. Select the option to replace the file.

12. Now, right-click on "Saga.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP SP2 -> Run as administrator.

13. You can now launch the game by double-clicking on "Saga.exe".

I played the first learner mission to test it out and to get the feel for the game again. First of all, the default speed is so fast! I remember having to slow it down as a kid. Should note that the speed bar is fluid, giving so much more versatility than in other RTS of the era (StarCraft, AoE, etc.). However, the lack of keyboard shortcuts, such as "b" for "build," became painfully apparent very quickly as I had gotten used to using shortcuts through playing StarCraft and AoE2 competitively. However, I feel like this may be a good game for me to unwind with and play on a slower speed with no keyboard shortcuts against some PCs, so perhaps it is for the best.

Anyway, upon completing the first mission, it brought me directly to the next mission without fault. At this point I quit the game and headed over to GOG to write this guide for the next person who may be looking to relive some nostalgic memories. I hope someone finds this helpful, cheers!

PS: If you are new to the game, you can also check the first and/or link on the Russian site and download what is listed as a manual of sorts, which explains units/buildings/commands/etc. The name to the left of the file is "Документация".
