Okay, so I haven't gotten any closer to squashing this unfortunately, but I actually doubt that it's that line you sent me, line 74 in hi.pm... since the sub school_emails never even gets called in editdb.pl.

The query looks to be fine, though, since as far as I can tell SQL should interpret the number returned by the bitwise operation as true as long as the number isn't 0...

If in fact school_emails does affect editdb.pl then nowhere in the files I have is the relationship made clear.

Is there a repo somewhere or another way I can get the full codebase? Especially for the future this would be really convenient for me to contribute as much as I can.
