Snatch 1.2

“Digging though trash… yay!” She chided herself even as she worked her way through the ‘wonderful’ smells and sights of the dump. “Mama would be real damned proud of her little girl, digging through a ton of trash.” She frowned, wrinkling her nose lightly at the scent. She sighed, not like she hadn’t smelled far worse, or even slept in it really. Life of late had been all kinds of peachy keen and gumdrops. But she kept at it. There was work to be done if she wanted to get something together that would serve her purposes. First things first was to get on the lookout for some usable items, things that her power would be able to use, things that would give her the protection she needed to survive in this fucked up world.

She needed to feel safe again.

It didn’t take long to get to digging deep into the guts of garbage, searching for things that would be useful, grabbing and stuffing those that could be carried into her deep pockets, disenchanting those which she felt that she could apply right away to herself and wouldn’t be able to just walk off with as she did.
