When you look up into the morning sky and see the
 bright light shining down upon you, know you are being
 blessed by the light of the Luminous One,
 the creator of this world and worlds beyond

 Eons ago the Luminous One birthed an countless worlds
 and bestowed upon each Gods of Creation to populate
 and rule over them.

 The one we know as "The One Above" is one such god.

The Gods breathed life into the Spirits, who lived in
harmony with nature. But they all were ill-equipped
to oppose the primordial Darkness, which sought to
engulf the All Father's divine radiance.

 This all-consuming Darkness feeds off the pain of the
 denizens of light, no matter how small or trivial.
 As long as light exists, life exists. And as long as life
 exists, Darkness can feed and grow.

 The Darkness spawned monsters who pained the spirits
 even more, strengthening the Darkness further.
 As the power of Dark Magic grew, worlds were torn
 asunder and eventually devoured.

 One by one, worlds were consumed by the void,
 until only six remained.

 There was panic amongst the remaining gods.
 Their options were finite.
 In a final gambit, they brought us, Humanity,
 into existence.

 Humans are special in that we can form a connection
 with our world's god to reach power unattainable by
 anyone else.
 As such it is our duty to defend our worlds from monsters.

 Understanding the origin of our power and the
 responsibility of mankind is the first step to furthering
 your development of magic.
