  1. "Halt, please."
  2.
  3. It seems that she doesn't recognize the figure. Either way, she would end up making this quick. "I see that you're coming from Bhaldraithe…" She pauses briefly, her gaze flashing in morbid curiosity. "...Mind tellin' me what you were doing at the place that vampires have taken over?" Honestly, she was terribly, terribly curious. Especially, since they are in the middle of a heated war with these....
  4.
  5. creatures.
  6. (Bei Rowan)
  7.
  8. While Adjudicator follows suit, he stays silent for this occasion.
  9.
  10. Donning a mask over his face, with a hood covering the red locks that everyone is used to, he merely observes the figure- there's something familiar about those body features, but alas, he cannot pinpoint it. As much of a good memory and sight he had, these clothes kept whoever hidden.
  11.
  12. The rubies under mask's shade flashed towards Bei, and then towards individual, waiting.
  13. (Arthur Rowan)
  14.
  15. There is movement from the shadow of a tree. In the darkness the jagged spires of wooden teeth can be seen, flashing with jubilation. It is as if a predator had found their prey after many hours. Time speeds up his body, bare feet crunching through the snow. He is near thrown towards Rea, arms open and intent on wrapping around her.
  16.
  17. "Valentine!"
  18.
  19. It is all too friendly for the rest of the looks the Dryad garners. In fact, the question nearly goes over his head.
  20.
  21. "Is of looking for Blacksmiths. Vampires are of leaving Reveler alone after had defeated old Baron. Is of little value Reveler has in hunting them."
  22.
  23. He looks fully towards Rea.
  24.
  25. "Khiii, is of impossible to be of sending letters to Valmasia. Is of never seeing people even of leaving city."
  26. (Reveler)
  27.
  28. .
  29. (Reveler)
  30.
  31. Leave it to the most quiet of them all to attract the most attention, the initial inquiry of Rea seeming to fly over the dryad's head when she's nearby. Yet, it's without even a means to react that she's suddenly engulfed in Conall's embrace, a cold breath of air escaping her in the moment her brows furrow, and her features contort to the typical show of agitation whenever dealing with this being in particular.
  32.
  33. "Reveler. Focus."
  34.
  35. How many years does he spend roaming aimlessly about lands that provide little purpose, and especially about one that harbors not but a bad memory.
  36.
  37. "That does not explain your presence. One should know how things proceed with us, and them. Now pay attention. The Rowans are suspicious of you, as am I."
  38.
  39. She murmurs, reaching up to brush a thumb over the revelers cheek, the energies of another felt nearby, so much that she instinctually seeks to grip upon their person through the ethereal energies at her disposal, another breath escaping her person.
  40.
  41. "Greetings, you."
  42. (Rea Valenta)
  43.
  44. There's no doubt that Arthur would recognize the line once Reveler speaks it.
  45.
  46. But he has no interest in the conversation between Rea and him either; as much as he's concerned, it's a personal matter that Rea had, and he had no involvement in that, other than her safety if such would ever be threatened. Other than that? The man is a wanderer, and is loosely useful to Valmasia.
  47.
  48. His mere statement as to the fact they were only sat at home only further proves he had no idea. Though, that's not a bad thing, really.
  49.
  50. Instead, the scarlets beneath mask's shade turn towards the Kitsune. Under his breath, he mutters something- though thanks to the mask, it's impossible to tell he's saying anything to those that cannot hear it.
  51. (Arthur Rowan)
  52.
  53. Arthur Rowan whispers: Didn't Lucien have a Kitsune wife?
  54.
  55. Arthur Rowan whispers: I recall Tessa told me about Kitsune thrall.
  56.
  57.
  58. And what is there to say at this particular moment? The woman finds her head beginning to tilt in what seemed to be idle curiosity...Fingertips lightly clasping behind her back as she watches the Reveler converse with Rea. A mild, gentle frown appears upon her features as she begins to speak. "I would prefer it if you were not going to go over there at all....We've blacksmiths in Valmasia." She adds, beginning to pause. "We're at war with the vampires-....Times are sensitive when wandering to and from Bhaldraithe. In any case, we could have easily mistaken you for an enemy." She adds while beginning to pause...
  59.
  60. Upon sensing yet another person enter their vicinity, the girl's frame would suddenly become a blur of cosmic glitz. One minute, she stands next to the Rowan...And the next, she appears infront of Myfi- her gaze beginning to narrow steadily- her hand resting upon the pommel of her blade.
  61.
  62. "I see you were going to Bhaldraithe. State your business."
  63. (Bei Rowan)
  64.
  65. Bei Rowan whispers: We'll capture this one.
  66.
  67. Rea Valenta whispers: Does it matter? Ruin her.
  68.
  69. "Your not quite so bright if you think the only place high up in the mountains is that city." Myfi quips back at the assuming woman, a light tone pouring out from under her mask, amber hues shining out from the slits, beyond the veil.
  70.
  71. "Out of all these years ive passed by you in your city now is the time you choose to harass me? Or is this just a hobby?
  72.
  73. …. or let me guess
  74.
  75. You're a bully, and now that your bully friends are awake too, you are brave enough to bully others." Myfi smiles crossing her arms.
  76.
  77. "I do business everywhere, my primary client being crafthold, that's MY business."
  78.
  79.
  80. (Myfi)
  81.
  82. The bark covered hands become softer, the wood-like feeling fading as he clung to her, hands gently moving up to cup Rea's cheeks. His mouth is a smile, cruel as usual and thick malice hangs in the air, but not aimed at anything in particular. The world is a slight red hue, but only a little, the tang of bloodlust ever present.
  83.
  84. "Can be of suspicious if is of wanting to be. And can be of asking questions if having them, Valentine. But would be of preferring to be questioned by you then others."
  85.
  86. He leans, a slight peck placed forwards towards the lips of the cherub curled woman. Then he looks towards Bei, still hugging onto Rea.
  87.
  88. "Of which blacksmiths is Dawn of having? And is of seeing. Was of hearing something of battling in caves? Is not of too focused on it; Has been of hunting mainly near Huangzhou and Deseti. Is of little disappointing. Of no response to challenge yet."
  89.
  90. He quiets, watching another soon arrive.
  91. (Reveler)
  92.
  93. Arthur decides to step in and speak at last.
  94.
  95. His voice is muffled, rough and toned- it's clear that the mask gives him a new voice, one that does not sound like his usual self; there's no expression, naturally, and yet the painting and visual on the mask gives it naught but unnerving, judging look that demands to unravel the very soul.
  96.
  97. Fitting, for someone who dabbles with those.
  98.
  99. "I assure you, if she wished to have you harmed, you'd be already slain. Now--"
  100.
  101. The man pauses, and the scarlets flash under new, brighter light towards the Kitsune. He steps in her sight, and while he's masked and his face is unrecognizable, there are other features that may give a clue- the white-blue heavy cloak, donned with fur and themes of the Morninglord all over. Though, unlike Rea's or Bei's, it's somewhat different.
  102.
  103. "We know that a Vampire has Kitsune wife. We know that people up north closely cooperate with the Vampires."
  104.
  105. "We have no reason to believe you do not. In fact, we have all the reasons to believe that you, in fact, work with our enemy."
  106.
  107. His gloved hand extends. The elbow pushed up against his torso, spoken and graced with clear eloquence, he adds more.
  108.
  109. "I'll give you a single offer."
  110.
  111. "Come peacefully, and you shall not be harmed. Resist... and I give no promises."
  112. (Arthur Rowan)
  113.
  114.
  115.
  116. "Ha-..."
  117.
  118. The idle laugh would have been reduced to nothing more than gentle chuckles, stifled by the very tips of her fingers. Steadily, would she find herself beginning to move forward- her head tilting briefly. "Now is the time that I've become this 'bully' that you so speak." She adds, shrugging her shoulders. "We weren't at war with the vampires then-...And now, things are different. So." She says while beginning to move forward.
  119.
  120. "I suggest that you listen to Arthur. While I normally don't tolerate disrespect...Seeing that he's giving you a chance, I won't resort to physical harm." She adds, her gaze narrowing considerably. "These caves belong to us now...And anyone who is not aligned with Valmasia at this particular moment and are seen within the North will be assumed to be an enemy at first sight until further inspection." She seems somewhat professional, but it is very clear that she's hoping.
  121.
  122. And praying.
  123.
  124. That the Kitsune says no to following her husband. "Take the hand." Her knuckles whiten over the pommel...The grip beginning to tighten considerably. It seems that Myfi's mouth has caused her attention to peel from Conall to her own form. Mhm.
  125. (Bei Rowan)
  126.
  127. A brief touch of the lips, and ever apparent is it that the Valenta isn't too pleased with how this conversation proceeds. Bullies? The term makes her scoff, as it hardly holds a candle to the conflict that's spurned with their needless claiming.
  128.
  129. "Why give her the option to come peacefully when she speaks any way she pleases Arthur? Be reasonable. At least relieve her of the opportunity to voice her baseless opinions to us bullies."
  130.
  131. Where as she examples impatience, it seems the other two are fine with allowing her to speak as she pleased. The brief glimpse of a scowl, and soon enough she's quiet while pressing a single digit into the Dryad's cheek.
  132.
  133. "We have one of the best Blacksmiths, and for some reason... I'm so disappointed."
  134. (Rea Valenta)
  135.
  136. Myfi slaps her palm on her chest plate, a metallic ClAng! reverberating through the air, a squeaky laugh erupting from her lips.
  137.
  138. "Oh dear, oh my! come with me and you wont be harmed~ look at me~ That's rich, I have as much reason to trust you as I do a breeze in a storm."
  139.
  140. Nearly doubled over at this point, small hands move to wipe away non-existent tears at the bottom of the slits on her mithril mask, her eyes returning back to the duo.
  141.
  142. "OH. you're serious! that's GRAND, NO adorable. Using my species as any indicator of proof is like pointing out- This person also eats bread, so he must be the thief~"
  143.
  144. Myfi was clearly agitated.. you could even say was a bit miffed!
  145.
  146.
  147. (Myfi)
  148.
  149. "Vampires are of getting married?" His voice is confused. "Is strange. Is not of knowing they had of such emotions." Reveler pursues his lips, quieting at the only outburst he had towards Arthur's and Bei's talk with Myfi.
  150.
  151. His attention remained mostly diverted. His hand moves down, moving to Rea's own to take. His other remains upon Rea's own cheek, deep hazel focused on olive.
  152.
  153. "What is of name of Blacksmith? May be of coming and seeing if is true. Is mainly of needing to get blade repaired. Is of needing to slice better. It is of very hungry weapon
  154.
  155. Of why is of disappointed? Is everything of alright with Valentine? Or has something been of wrong?"
  156. (Reveler)
  157.
  158. The Adjudicator had no time for such things.
  159.
  160. While it's quite the pity his tact was refused, Arthur could not be shaken off so easily- as a matter of fact, none deny him something without paying for that, either now or sometime later. And this Kitsune? She was no exception.
  161.
  162. "A shame. Don't complain if you get a disfiguring scar."
  163.
  164. The moment such word was spoken, the air itself became condensed around them, and reality started to shift and twist. A single pull, and the blast of Telekinesis, alongside with the arcs of lightning had sought to take her down - within a moment's notice, this quickly turned into forceful apprehension, one that she'd have to try and evade--
  165.
  166. -- or meet face on with all of the consequences.
  167. (Arthur Rowan)
  168.
  169. To be quite frank, she was actually pretty Myfi'd as well- get it? Unfortunately, if things weren't already so stressful, then perhaps, she would have laughed at the thought. Nevertheless, as the woman seemed to talk....The Drakaness would steadily shift infront of her, amethyst scales beginning to loiter her lithe frame....Even now, she just sigh's silently. "How foolish."
  170.
  171. Honestly, she wouldn't outright attack her...If they weren't at war with vampires, but, annoyances are always dealt with within the harshest ways. The moment that the Kitsune was done speaking, the flash of amethyst would pierce through the ivory winds...The hilt of the blade is suddenly launched right towards the woman's head...
  172.
  173. Clearly, not aiming to kill- but most certainly, sending a message.
  174. (Bei Rowan)
  175.
  176. "I dislike conversations akin to this. Especially with people that have yet to get the point. But I digress... You won't be disappointed, though one should take it that you will not be playing friends with that one, and what she considers her kin?"
  177.
  178. The Valenta will always be one to hold onto her suspicions, whether it be friend or foe, she has learned that there is always a time where she feels as if though she is being deceived. As if though all she hoped for would begin to feel as another, out of body experience.
  179.
  180. A shallow breath is taken, and she readily keeps her distance from the conflict that arises with the woman's rebuttal.
  181.
  182. "His name is Dylerun, I'm sure you've seen the man. Did you always have so many questions?" She huffs.
  183. (Rea Valenta)
  184.
  185. Bei Rowan is now observing Myfi

  234.
  235. Your body begins heating up painfully!
  236.
  237. Your body begins heating up painfully!
  238.
  239. Myfi has rolled 3 or over: they may escape capture attempts (unless otherwise specified)!
  240.
  241. The smile lessens.
  242.
  243. "Is of always of having many questions. Is not of able to stand feeling of being surrounded by rotting ones. Is of making it very hard to talk to, and can barely even be of sending letters. Is of painful. And misses."
  244.
  245. The fingers curl more around Rea's hand, holding onto her. Reveler's gaze breaks from olive instead to look at the snow.
  246.
  247. "If is of disliking speaking like this, may be of asking less questions this time.
  248.
  249. Has not seen of Dylerun. Is not of knowing what he looks like. Maybe if was more in Dawn then was. And will be of visiting Bhaldrathie less if is having weapon repaired in Dawn. Is just of needing to find way to spend three months and get weapon before is of hunting again.."
  250.
  251. He moves closer, arm brushing against hers.
  252.
  253. "Did not say if has been of good. Is Valentine of ok?"
  254.
  255. The battle is almost ignored by the Dryad, looking back occasionally to watch the display of power. But he remains focused on his own conversing.
  256. (Reveler)
  257.
  258. There's no chance that this Kitsune ever stood against him.
  259.
  260. Relentless and unstoppable with his attacks, there was no denying that he would easily overpower her. The strikes of lightning, the razor-sharp wind that blew against her, the sheer power of Telekinesis that blasted her away, and the terrifying power of blood that gripped her. There are so many things that he had on the table against her. And she?
  261.
  262. She had almost nothing.
  263.
  264. "You shouldn't be so disrespectful to your superiors."
  265.
  266. A surge of lightning, and another, and another... steadily but surely, he was wearing her down, with each punishment offered by the power he wielded, she was no longer capable of pushing back against him. But perhaps, just perhaps, the chance of spilling blood and ravaging her has gotten in his head too much and--
  267.
  268. -- he lost his focus.
  269.
  270. Filling the blast he'd offerto her next with all of the pent up bloodlust over these years, it was not a mere push that she was torn away from this battlefield with, but an otherworldly force that ravaged her body- bruises, cuts and other ailments, it's almost a miracle as to how she didn't become a cripple.
  271.
  272. Maybe the magi resilience. Maybe his aim was off.
  273.
  274. But he realized too late the opportunity wasted. It would be futile to chase her down at such distance, and so he adds.
  275.
  276. "Or it may end much, much worse next time."
  277. (Arthur Rowan)
  278.
  279. "I do not hide, Reveler. Send your letters, or simply have one relay a message. I did not mistake you for someone..."
  280.
  281. She trails off, a sigh pushed forth beyond slightly parted lips.
  282.
  283. "That incompetent. Ask me what you please, I was moreso referring to the conversation with the fox."
  284.
  285. Otherwise, this wasn't too difficult. Simply venturing out into the wilderness to find, and assess the decisions being made in regard to this conflict. Perhaps, to a Gehennen this was unrewarding, but to her? She could at least find closure when finally capable of encountering a few, familiar faces.
  286.
  287. "And even then, I'm doing fine. I'm still here, alive, and able to act as I please. Such, is the definition of good, Reveler." She leans against him for the time being, and quirks a brow.
  288.
  289. "The Huangzhou and Deseti, though? Do you enjoy hunting ghosts and nonames?"
  290. (Rea Valenta)
  291.
  292. Did she stand a chance? No? would that change her attitude also no.
  293.
  294. Even as seas of flame and waves of fire erupt from the painfully immobile woman a faint laughter fills the air. Shimmering sparks shining in the darkness of night as the nyeshk plates that girdled her body shunt away deadly blows.
  295.
  296. What the tiny woman lacked in power she had in creativity, and her crafts would save her again, this day once more.
  297.
  298. Flung through the air by unknown forces, Myfi tumbles through the air, crashing back into the snow once more, the woman landing ass first as she skids across the snow ass first still giggling. Albeit in much off worse shape- but it wouldn't be something the rune smith couldn't recover from after a few days of good rest.
  299.
  300. Snapping her fingers, high above in the sky, one of the magics she never used in her battle with the man manifests.
  301.
  302. A massive hammer clashing into an anvil.
  303.
  304. "Through fire we are born, through light we live and through the fading light we die. Its a shame when those with power are shaped into people like you."
  305.
  306. and with that- the kitsune ran off.
  307. (Myfi)
  308.
  309. The Adjudicator had no other words to say.
  310.
  311. Instead, the looming mask turned to the group, the scarlets hidden in its shade merely observing the people before him, until a small sigh escapes from under his breath. Sure, he's gotten his fill of violence, but... there's still regret that she did not end up in his hands. A pity.
  312.
  313. "I do not think it's wise to remain here."
  314.
  315. "If she's truly affiliated with Vampires, I imagine she's going to call backup and we're fairly close to their place. Let's get moving."
  316. (Arthur Rowan)
