Covet: Felix was out back grilling the shrimps and making sure the veggies in their foil packet things were cooking away as well. // Kelsey was driving her car still kind of being cold towards Brad, not that he'd noticed much between being tired and then being busy with classes today. She pulled into the drive way and looked in the mirror at Connor, "We're here, you can get yourself unbuckled now." // Okay Momma, Can I play with the puppies before we eat?" He asked excited because animals and all that.
Alexithymiaa: -Steph was in the process of pulling the tray of homemade mac and cheese out of the oven, setting it down on the stovetop to cool and moving her oven mitts aside. She'd had a pretty eventful day so she was still tired from the weekend. "No no, go eat your own dinner." She scolded Nugget who haad been circling the kitchen like a shaark. // Brad was sitting in the passenger seat of Kelsey's car, his legs all bunched up in her tiny car with his shoulder leaned against the door when she pulled in. "Oh thank god." He said, pushing the door open and instantly stretching his lanky legs out of the car.-
Covet: Felix started putting everything on the tray he'd brought out with him and shut off the heat and gas on the grill before bringing it into the house. "Any word from them yet?" He asked Steph as he came in and closed the door. // Kelsey shook her head, "You know you didn't have to come, I wouldnt' want you feeling obligated to come over for her or anything." Kelsey said as she put her car in park and climbed out to flip her seat forward to let Connor out, "Yes you can, but you need to make sure to wash your hands before we eat." // Connor climbed out and ran up to the door to knock loudly on it since he couldnt' reach the doorbell yet.
Alexithymiaa: "Not yet. Is everything ready?" She asked him before shooing Nugget out of the kitchen again. "Strangers are going to think we don't feed him." Hearing the knocking on the door, she headed across the dining area to the front door, sticking her foot out to stop Penny from continuing forward before she opened the door for Connor. "Hi Connor. Did you drive here all by yourself?" She asked, opening the door wider for him so he could come in.// "I was invited though." He said as he stood to his feet, closing the car door behind him and starting to head up to the house behind Connor. "Hey. Long time no see." He said to Steph, stepping inside.-
Covet: Felix looked down at the tray, "It is on my end at least. It smells good in here though." He said then looked over at the door as Steph went to go answer the knock. // Kelsey gave a shrugh. "I don't want to hear any bitching." She told him then waved at Steph giving her a more genuine smile then she'd given Bradley in days. "Hi Steph." // "No, I can't reach the pedals even in Momma's mini car. Excuse me, can I play with the doggies?" He asked as he walked inside past Steph.
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled at everyone as they came in, shutting the door behind them all. "You can, but we're sitting down to eat in a minute so why don't you play with them after dinner? Or how about if you give them a treat and then we sit down?" She asked him, turning to look over at Felix. "Can you give him a couple of milkbones for the dogs?" // "Oh, is dinner ready?" Brad asked, immediately heading over to the table to linger there. "What aare we eating?"-
Covet: "Shrimp, Some grilled and seasoned veggies, and Mac n cheese. Hope that's up to everyone's standards?" Felix asked the group as he started to get things put onto serving dishes and brought to the table to help themselves. Once he did that he grabbed a couple of milk bones to hand them to Connor as he came over.// Kelsey looked around and shook her head a little because he wasn't even trying to hide why he was here. "It smells delicious, and I'm sure it tastes just as good."// Connor frowned a little then nodded his head, "Okay, After dinner, but I want to give them a treat yes."
Alexithymiaa: "Bradley, beer? Connor, juice? Kelsey?" She asked, heaading over to the fridge to begin taking out some beverages so she could get everyone served before they sat down. // "Yeah, that sounds good. Beer, yes." He said as he took a seat down at the table, positioning himself next to the extra fold out chair that had been added for Connor because he intended to help him if he needed.-
Covet: "Juice for me too please." Felix said, having made his way over to the table to help get people dished up and all that. // Kelsey looked at Steph, "Oh just a water please." She told her as she went to sit down. "Thank you for inviting us over." // Connor took the bones and made his way to the dogs, making them both sit before he gave them their bones, and wiped his hands off on his pants before climbing up to his chair. " I want all of that." He said pointing to pan of Mac n Cheese.
Alexithymiaa: "I know juice for you." She said, waving Felix off and beginning to carry the beverages over to the table, setting them down in front of each seat before taking a seat herself. "Of course. It's been a while, it was definitely time." She said, reaching out for Felix's arm. "Sit down. Everythings fine." // Brad took his beer and took a quick sip, looking over the nice helping of food on his plate. "This really does look good. Better than the crafty we had over the weekend."-
Covet: "Thank you." He said not needing to be told twice to sit down after he helped get everyone dished up. " I slaved over a grill all evening, I'd hope it's good." // Kelsey smiled, "Thank you and yeah it has been. And you picked a good time, being between projects and such too. SO how did the shoot go?" She asked Steph. // Connor started digging into his food dancing about because it tasted good and all that.
Alexithymiaa: "I wouldnt necessarily use the word slaved, but sure." She saaid, giving Felix a sarcastic pat. "Oh, it was good. Working with Bradley always is. Definitely exhausting though. By the time I got home last night I was about ready to start sawing off limbs." She said with a laugh, pulling her shrimp apart for smaller bites. "We have a lot of stuff going on with the album release coming up soon." // Brad started in on his mac and cheese, looking over at Connor to check on him before looking up at Steph. "Yeah... well... I'm a professional and I like to keep my sets professional. That's why everything runs so smoothly and all my projects turn out so well."-
Covet: "I said slaved woman!" Felix said loudly with a laugh. "It's okay I made sure she came home and was getting the good rubdown treatment." He said proud of himself. // "Aww that's so good though, I just know the release is going to be amazing." Kelsey said. " I've got a tour I'm going on this summer, the Diet Coke is sponsoring, and getting everything finalized for my next release this Novermber."
Alexithymiaa: -She couldn't help, but shove an elbow into Felix's side, narrowing her eyes on him as a warning because don't say rubdown in front of the child. "That's so cool. I imagine you're doing a lot of prep for it? I know ours is in December and they're trying to shove as many promos down our throats as possible between now and then." // Brad was busy shoving food in his face, glancing up to listen. "That's kind of how the business goes. It's harder on some people than on others."-
Covet: "Ouch.. what the he-...heck." He said looking over at Connor, then back at Steph with a glare. // "Yeah, I did a mall thing this last weekend. It was fun and There's been meetings and interviews. I've pretty much been busy and will be busy every single weekend from now until New Year's. " She said with a soft smile. // Connor was just digging into the food, occasionally giving the random scrap to the dogs that had found their way under the table where he was at.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh, we're handling it just fine, it's just a lot. We're not really used to it." She stabbed at some vegetables, putting them in her mouth to chew before speaking again. "That's insane. I don't know how you have time for everything. I've been passing out all day because of this weekend." // "It just comes with the level of success Kels is at." Brad said with a shrug, continuing to eat. "It's something you get used to."-
Covet: "I've been falling asleep too. My life has been super stressful." He said as if he had any say in this because he was probably the laziest of all five of them. // Kelsey shook her head, "Oh, I know tired. I've had those days like that too, I've just been doing it for long enough at this point that it feels normal." She said as she went about eating.

Alexithymiaa: "You fall asleep out of boredom." She said casually to Felix. "Man... I hope I get to that point. We've been working so hard and.." She paused, pursing her lips because she was trying to get to the point she'd asked them there tonight. "We were actually asked to be featured on the new Punk Goes Pop album." // "Cool." Brad said through a mouth full of food, looking across the table at Felix. "You don't even knoww stress until you need to find time for an extra music video between Nicki Minaji's shoot and The Weeknd's."-
Covet: "Shhhhh, don't give away my secrets." He said after swallowing. "If you get to that point I'm going to have to force you to have relaxation days." Felix added. // Kelsey looked at Steph, "Oh, wait.. what!? Steph that's amazing! I'm so excited for you!" She said completely overshadowing Brad's humble brag, because EVERYONE KNOWS BRAD....gosh.
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled, leaning into Felix gently. "I know. I have a feeling I'll be looking forrward to those relaxation days if it ever gets like that." She ducked her head just a little bit. "Thanks. We're really excited. It's a huge opportunity for us to get out their and gain more recognition." She paused, setting her fork down. "And we were actually curious if you would allow us to cover one of your songs." // Brad furrowed his brows, stopping eating for a minute. "Wait, what? You want to cover one of Kels' songs for Punk Goes Pop? Are you making money off of that?"-
Covet: "Good. That will make me forcing you to do them easier. I'm always game for easy." He said with a smirk looking at Steph, giving her a wink. // Kelsey grinned then clasped her hand over her mouth, "Really? Of course you can cover one of my songs. I'd be honored." She said then gave a glare at Brad, "Well I hope she would be making money off of that, that's kind of the whole point of our carreers afterall."
Alexithymiaa: -She smirked, nudging Felix. "Shhhhhhh." She tried to silence him, but he was distracting her from the discussion at hand with easiness. "Well yeah... each band gets paid to work on the album, and they get a three percent royalty of sales. It's not a huge amount, but it's really not the point of working on the project." She answered Brad, not picking up on his attitude quite yet. "Really? That's so cool. I know you're insanely busy, but maybe if you have a free moment when we're recording you'd make a cameo on your own song or something. Regardless, I can let them know you're into it and send you some paperwork to sign giving us permission." // "Woah woah woah... slow down." Brad said, trying to be cavalier, but he just sounds like a douche right now. "If you guys are making three percent on all sales of the album, it's only fair you agree that one percent of that belongs to Kelsey. Since it's her song and she's the only reason you'd be making that money in the first place."-
Covet: "Wait... huh?" Felix asked wondering what the heck Brad was on about. // Kelsey was all sorts of happy but when Brad spoke up and started chiming in about her one percent, she turned around with slight flames in her eyes. "Um... Excuse me... What are you doing?" // Connor had finished his plate and slid down so that he could go play with the dogs, because the grown up talk was over his head.

Alexithymiaa: -Steph blinked at Brad, a little taken back by his remarks. "Oh, well... of course we can set that up. It's only fair that you-" She cut her words off when Kelsey rounded on Brad, pursing her lips and sort of just settling into silence. // "What?" Brad asked as he looked at Kelsey. "She doesn't even care, she was just agreeing to set up a fair deal so everyone benefits. What?" He repeated, confused.-
Covet: Felix just kind of sat there, trying to process what was going on, and wondering why there was a sudden attitude shift. // Kelsey crossed her arms over her chest and put a hand up at Brad. "Shut up. Now." She then looked at Steph, "Please ignore everything he's saying right now. You don't owe me a thing. I'll sign anything giving you full permission to use the song. I'm not going to take that from you. You guys have earned that. The exposure and consideration is payment enough for me. Despite what you think." She said turning on Brad. "I realize this is a partnership between us, but my songs are my business. So don't you dare start throwing your weight around with my songs." She was clearly pissed as she gave him another icy stare and took another bite of the food, smiling at Felix. "The shrimp is amzing."
Alexithymiaa: -She chewed on her tongue, kind of unsure what the fuck just happened. "Uhhhh... okay." She spoke awkwardly, rubbing her hands over the fabric of her skirt. "So.....there's cookies for dessert." // Brad leaned back in his chair, not appreciating that Kelsey had scolded him in front of everyone. "Well I can't have cookies so..." He said with a pout.-
Covet: "I'll take three." Felix said at the mention of cookies. // Kelsey looked at Steph, then looked over to Connor, "I'd love one, and I'm sure Connor would too." Giving Steph her attention again, she smiled, "If you want you and I can meet up for coffee or something to talk about it more."
Alexithymiaa: "Oh.... I thought you loved cookies..." She said to Brad, reaching for Felix's hand. I baked plenty of cookies. Just remember that the more cookies you eat, the more we really need to go to the gym on Wednesday." She couldn't help but laugh, nodding at Kelsey. "That would be awesome. I'll ask Kristen to meet up with us. She helps me write most of the music." // "Yeah well, if you ever had anything to do with us, you would know that I can't eat cookies anymore." He shot back, still pouting.-
Covet: "Can't eat cookies? Dude that's tragic." Felix said feeling slightly sorry for Brad, "Hey I'm good with more Gym time, I'm not the one who pushed to hard last time." // Kelsey rolled her eyes, "She knows that you're Diabetic Bradley. She's not out of the loop."
Alexithymiaa: "I did not. I won." She snickered at him because that's still the only thing that matters. She looked over at Brad and Kelsey. "I'm sorry, it just sort of slipped my mind. I do have grapes and apples though if you want some fruit?" // Brad shook his head, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms over his chest. "Usually when you invite someone over for dinner, their dietary restrictions don't slip your mind. Unless you don't care, which I wouldn't be surprised considering how self centered you've been lately."-
Covet: Felix raised an eyebrow, "I'm sorry.. dude, but did someone piss in your mac n cheese when I wasn't looking?" He asked in a confused and casual tone. // "It's okay, really. He's fine." Kelsey said looking at him, shaking her head, then scoffed loudly. "Well aren't you a steamy little kettle right now? It's hilarious that you are the one saying she's being self centered...backslash sarcasm." She said then got up from the table, " Is there any way we can get those cookies to go Steph? I'm afraid my manchild is getting crabby and acting up, I should get him home and put to bed. Connor, tell the puppies goodbye, we've got to get home so we can get in bed for school tomorrow."
Alexithymiaa: -She just sat there staring at Brad in disbelief, beginning to stammer. "Oh... sure... I'll... wrap some up." She said quietly, pushing up from the table and walking over into the kitchen. She grabbed the tray of cookies, sliding half a dozen into a ziplock bag and bringing it back over to Kelsey. "Get home safe..." // "Yeah, like you're not part of the problem of her thinking the Earth revolves around her." Brad scoffed at Felix, all irritated now. He pushed up to his feet, turning for the door.-
Covet: "Well fuck you too man." Felix glared at him. "She's kind of fucking earned it, but it has nothing to do with you so why don't you get the fuck over it." // "I'm so sorry Steph. I'll make this up to you. Dinner was very nice, thank you for the cookies, I'll text you tomorrow." She told her giving her a hug, then Connor got up and looked between the adults because he's not that young he can't pick up on people fighting. He stayed quiet and ran ahead to get into the car and get hi mself buckled into his carseat. Kelsey put her hand on Brad's back and was practically pushing him out the door, "I can't believe you. What the hell is your problem? Why would you say any of that. This was supposed to be a nice dinner, I really wish you would have just stayed home." She kept on with the nagging until they were in the car.
Alexithymiaa: "Arizona, don't..." She said, leaning in to hug Kelsey. "It's fine. Don't worry about it. He's in a mood." She forced a smile, walking them out and shutting the door behind them. She turned to look at Felix again. "Would you mind loading the dishwasher so I can run it in the morning? I want to change." She said quickly, walking toward the bedroom with intent to pajama. // "You know what my problem is." He growled back at her on his way out, making his way into the car so he could arggue with her some more.-
