- ----------------------------------
- {Are you the lord here?}
- Lord? You flatter me. Those above like to use the term Jarl, and I should be aghast that any yokel can barge in unannounced to demand answers for their queries.
- A testament to how little the name of Jehanna holds sway over this province, only when all the other kingdoms have crumbled may ours finally have prominence.
- {Jehanna?}
- You haven't heard of it? I'm not sure whether to laugh or grit my teeth in anger - this hinterland kingdom of the North has seen better days.
- Now our best defense in these troubling times is not in arms or walls, but our obscurity - despite how denigrating that sounds, I enjoy the peace such shortcomings bring.
- {I've noticed a lot of Nords around instead of Bretons.}
- You've soon the main stock of Jehanna's blood, Nords. As stubborn as they are fierce, the only kind to hold their own up in these cold heights.
- {I've spent a while in Skyrim myself, I'm more than familiar with them.}
- You're a more tolerant soul than the rest then, Nords are hard to warm to for any outsider - Especially Jehannans.
- So what is it that you want? Any more questions?
- {What is the state of Jehanna?}
- Some term it the "Forgotten Kingdom", where ravaging blizzards rip through the heart of its land, cutting off the capital from its myriad lesser lords.
- Where the capital juts from its mountainous locale a silent juggernaut, with nary a peep from its walls. All human endeavors for naught because of Kyne's unending wrath.
- It's easy to forget that the capital exists, if not for the couriers who come round every season. We're as much a part of that Kingdom as we are to any other - that is to say, not nearly at all.
- {What is your relation to Evermore?}
- Barely existent save the odd merchant who may offer their wares, though there aren't many buyers here, as you've seen. We're not very keen on mingling any further with that hectic kingdom.
- Only reason they've enjoyed any relative peace is through their own employment of barbarous oppression, sometimes it's hard to tell who the real savage is down there.
