steamcmd counter-strike: source css

# The following guide is perfectly safe and legal. It uses Valve's own official tool (SteamCMD) to download the game files directly from Steam. You do not need to own Counter-Strike: Source to do this.

# Create a folder somewhere and extract https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/client/installer/steamcmd.zip to it. Open Command Prompt and cd to the folder you created, then run the following commands in it.
# NOTE: If your steamapps folder is in a different spot than usual, you will need to change the directory below. If you do, keep in mind the spaces around the directory are required!

	login anonymous
	force_install_dir "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Source"
	app_update 232330

# After doing this, re-launch Garry's Mod, click the game controller in the bottom right, and make sure "Counter-Strike Source" is checked and not greyed out.
