  34. IMPORTANT PLOT POINTS
  35.
  36.
  37. 「INTRO」
  38.
  39. Before he puts on The Mask, Hank needs to try to sell Eustace propane.
  40.
  41. Annoyed with Courage's antics, and having lost/broken his previous mask, Eustace finds a mysterious new mask from a travelling gypsy merchant. She warns him of its power and refuses to sell it to him. He steals it anyway and runs back home to scare Courage.
  42.
  43. >We actually start with the intro to the Courage the Cowardly Dog show drawn out in a few panels.
  44. >Except at the end where Eustace goes "OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!", Muriel sees him and whacks him with her rolling pin midway, causing the mask of his to split in two.
  45. >Of course, Eustace is pissed, blames Courage for no reason, and stomps out.
  46. >"Where are you going, Eustace?"
  47. >"Ta get me a new mask!"
  48. >Eustace drives along until he sees The Mask on a gypsy caravan, stops the truck, and goes in.
  49. >Close-up on the Mask (Menacing...)
  50. >Eustace tries to by it, but Shirley won't sell it, saying it's cursed or whatever.
  51. >Eustace has none of it and keeps trying until he gets too frustrated leaves.
  52. >As he's walking out, he looks around, sees no one else around and snatches the mask and quickly peels out of there, heading home...
  53.
  54. When Eustace comes home, Courage is incoherently babbling about a scary monster inside the house. Eustace puts on the mask to frighten him, but awakens a horrifying power within himself, and unleashes a power onto the entire world.
  55. Now that I think about it, isn't what Eustace has a bit different from Melodies? Or is it just that the Mask gives him a Melody so strong that he can do OP stuff plus activate it even when it's more malicious than funny?
  56. >Eustace carries around a weapon 24/7 that's literally a flat piece of board.
  57. >He discovered it enhances his powers tenfold.
  58. >Eustace carries a literal slap-stick
  59. Muriel is killed in the awakening, leaving Courage to fight off Eustace with his own newly awakened Stand which allows him to shapeshift his body into any form for a few seconds at a time.
  60. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. In his fight with 「MELODY EUSTACE」, Courage is able to use his newfound powers with 「THRILLER」 to avoid Eustace's attacks, but is too frightened to play offensively.
  63. With his unstable powers, he takes the form of a small pink fire that begins to spread around the house. He uses the power of comedic effect against Eustace here, the fire burns Eustace and propels him into the sky, giving Courage a chance to escape.
  64.
  65. >Muriel survives at first, is kidnapped by Eustace
  66. >Courage's initial drive is to save Muriel from Eustace gone nuts
  67. >During their first fight Eustace unlocks another level of power which ends up killing Muriel
  68. We can use it to show both how far Eustace has fallen and to have character growth for Courage, who has to find a new reason to be brave once Muriel is gone.
  69.
  70. Maybe half of the reason he wants MORE power is because in private, he really believes that if he gets enough power, he'll be able to bring Muriel back. But in his desperation and worst moments as a human, he sees Courage as a stepping stone in his rise to power.
  71. Courage runs for days through the harsh deserts of Nowhere, until he comes across a propane store run by Hank Hill. Courage explains what happened to Hank who sympathizes because a similar mask claimed his friend, Dale.
  72.
  73. >Courage runs off into the night after the fight with Eustace.
  74. >the pitch blackness seems scarier than usual, something terrible has happened tonight and Courage can feel it
  75. > Courage runs for what seems like hours, then sees a faint light in the distance
  76. >It’s Jon Bon’s diner
  77. >Inside is Hank Hill, successfully selling propane to the diner
  78. >Courage runs in, just looking for some shelter from the dark
  79. >Hank takes a liking to Courage, as he reminds him of Lady Bird (maybe lady Bird could be dead, Hank is looking for a new dog??)
  80. >Courage, trusting Hank using his [Thriller] to pantomime what has happened
  81. >Hank is shocked claims that courage “ain’t right” just like Bobby
  82. >Hank decides to drive Courage to a vet, seeing as it looks like courage has some problems
  83. >Hank and courage, while driving towards civilization, are intercepted by Eustace, who is looking to finish the “stupid dog”
  84.
  85.
  86.
  87. Meanwhile, Eustace gathers a group of followers in order to get rid of that stupid shitting dog once and for all.
  88. Hank and Courage must fight their way through a wave of Eustace's cronies in order to reach the gypsy whom Eustace stole from. During this period, Courage further harnesses his Melody and Hank works on his propane tech.
  89. When they reach Eustace, Hank takes him on as he has better offensive capability. The fight begins with Hank releasing propane gas around Eustace, but by cartoonishly sniffing around with a giant comedic nose, Eustace is able to detect the smell of the propane fumes and avoids them accordingly. Hank is on the ropes as Eustace mercilessly bashes him with mallets, but he turns things around with a trump card.
  90. A massive gas explosion swallows Eustace. He cannot understand how Hank was able to set up a gas explosion, as he could not smell the gas. Hank explains that propane is naturally odorless, and the smell is artificially put by man for safety purposes. Hank used this to trick Eustace into letting his guard down and surround him with the gas.
  91. Unfortunately, this only leaves Eustace as a tiny pile of black ash, which, thanks to 「MELODY」, he recovers from quickly, and prepares to put Hank out of commission.
  92. Suddenly a pink anvil falls from the sky and hits Eustace in the head, once again using the power of 「MELODY」 against him.
  93. Courage had been positioning himself on a nearby cliff, preparing to attack Eustace at the proper moment, and jumping down when the time was right. The two prepare to finish off Eustace.
  94.
  95. Hank vs Eustace commences, Hank seeing Courage use his powers (however weak) decides to find the gypsy (maybe he tried to pitch propane to her for some magical purpose?)
  96.
  97. Maybe Eustace could drop a hint about Shirley during the fight? Courage knows who she is, and it makes sense that after seeing that crazy shit Hank would listen to what Courage was saying. That or Bobby had a gypsy relic phase, and that's how Hank knows her, either one.
  98.
  99.
  100. >Hank and Eustace fight, Courage is a bit nervous of Hank after seeing his ProPAIN fighting style
  101. >Hank drives to a small company building, Strickland Propane
  102. >Hank stocks up on propane, gets ready for a sale in the morning, has courage spend the night and cooks him a great burger while talking up the clean fuel of propane.
  103. >Next scene in is the early morning, the crack of dawn: Eustace is sitting in the rubble of his home after regenerating from Hank’s attack. Dark figures surround him, being drawn to the power of the mask
  104. >”Lousy good fer nothing… well what are you standing around her fer? Go find that stupid dog and squash him! Oh… uhh and the older feller too!”
  105. >The shadow figures spread out, on the hunt for Courage and Hank
  106. >Another cut to morning, Hank fills up his truck and gets ready to head out with Courage, maybe he could tell Courage a bit of his back story- Peggy could be dead via her trying to upstage Hank and learn the ProPAIN technique and getting killed in the process, aka /co/’s dream
  107. >Outside of Strickland, Hank and Courage are met by Dale, brainwashed by the mask’s power, and turning against Hank to finish him off with his fighting style- a melody based technique that focuses on projecting sand as an attack
  108.
  109. >the Mask convinces Dale that Hank was sleeping with his wife
  110. >Dale bursts in, tossing sand and yelling about how Hank stole his woman
  111. >"Godammit Dale, it wasn't me, it was Redcorn! Everybody knew except you!"
  112. >Dale pauses, reflects on this, ultimately goes back into a battle stance
  113. >"The mind altering powers of propane are ineffective against my steel trap mind, Hank!"
  114. >"Dammit Dale..."
  115. >Relatively weak, Hank tries to encourage Courage to kick Dale’s ass.
  116. >Courage is totally afraid, falls victim to Dale’s sand attacks.
  117. >Hank takes the fight to himself, kicks Dale’s ass, but still shows some signs of remorse considering he was once his friend.
  118. >Hank realizes he needs to begin to train Courage to find his own 「Courage」
  119.
  120. >Dale and Hank’s fight is over, Courage is satisfied he didn’t have to fight, but Hank is a little peeved
  121. >Hank drives out, gives courage some scolding stares, maybe tells a story related to football at how important an offensive line is
  122. >Hank makes a pit stop at a local cemetery, determine to drop off some flowers
  123. >Courage gets out of the car, but is obviously too scared to go further into the cemetery
  124. >a gag could happen here that Hank walks past Peggy’s grave and places the flowers at Lad Bird’s
  125. >meanwhile, Courage is approached by a girl in red, who comments on how cute Courage looks, and asks him why he’s shaking so much at a cemetery on a warm afternoon
  126. >She starts chatting with Courage, calls him a good dog and tries to play fetch with him
  127. >Hank sneaks up, assumes she is an enemy
  128. >Lydia sense Hank coming
  129. >Hank gets ready to strike from behind, gets positioned for the perfect ass kicking
  130. >Lydia mutters something under her breathe, slowly but getting increasingly louder
  131. >beetle..juice… Beetlejuice….. BEETLEJUICE
  132. >”eh hahahahaha, AH HAHAHAHA- IT’S SHOW TIIME!!!”
  133.
  134.
  135. I think we should keep Beetlejuice's powers as weak as possible until he's revealed as a master of Melody. Like, have the Lonesome Ghosts appear attacking Lydia and Beetlejuice for some reason, but Beetlejuice is doing as little as possible to stop them since they aren't that big a threat.
  136.
  137. >"Courage, being courageous is a lot like propane. A lot of people will try to talk you out of using it, but dammit, it's the best thing you got."
  138.
  139. >Courage, the Melody is already inside of you. It's inside all of us.
  140. >I like to think of it like a big ol' tank of propane, sitting in your soul, letting out little puffs of gas without you having to think about it.
  141. >But if you wanna kick Eustace's ass, that won't be enough. Think of Eustace's power as charcoal.
  142. >It's dirty, dark, and leads to only suffering.
  143. >The worst part is that, naturally, it's better than propane-but only propane in the hands of most people, not experts in the field of propane and propane accessories.
  144. >You have to learn to control it, to apply it everyday life, to be able to sell it to others.
  145.
  146. >Hank lets out a big “BWAH” to Beetlejuice’s appearance
  147. >Beetlejuice shoots a sly grin back “c’mon old geezer, come and get a piece of Beetlejuice before you get arthritis!”
  148. >Hank shoots back, “well I don’t care what in the hell you think this haunted house crap is- but you’ve already fallen into my ProPAIN trap! With just a snap of these here fingers you’ll be cooked to a fine medium rare!”
  149. >”Oh how cute- I need to sit back and breathe this one though”
  150. >Beetlejuice takes a deep breath and sucks up the surrounding air and ProPAIN into his cheeks
  151. >Beetlejuice then pulls a balloon out from his sleeve, and exhales all the gas into it, ties it off, and bounces it up into the air
  152. >These physics shock Hank, who snaps his fingers a little too late, and blows up the ProPAIN in the balloon
  153. >BWAH, Hank yells again “I’ve had enough of this magic 「Who Ha」 crap. I’m just about ready to kick your ass bottle-juice, whatever the got-dang hell your name is!”
  154. >”Uh, clean your glasses there old timer- you’re little fart gas shtick is old news…”
  155. >Hank rushes towards Beetlejuice
  156. >Suddenly slips on a banana peel
  157. >”Oldest trick in the book there oldie- figured you’d catch on since you’re y’know…. I think experienced is the word I’m looking for?... Nah I’m thinkin maybe pruned??”
  158. >Hanks falls down, and slides into a trash can, dumping trash over Hank
  159. >Courage lets out a yell and shivers in sight of Beetlejuice’s attack
  160.
  161.
  162. >Beetlejuice laughs at Hank’s misfortune- “Man now that’s what I call a stinker!”
  163. >Courage then reflects on the speech Hank gave him about owning his own inner 「Courage」as well as the 「Offensive Line」
  164. >Courage turns to look at the panel- “The things I do for love….”
  165. >Courage runs up to Beetlejuice while he’s laughing at Hank and takes a big bite out of his butt
  166. >Beetlejuice yelps out into the air, and then crashes down into the ground
  167. >Beetlejuice and Lydia both look back at Courage
  168. >”now now poochie, I admit it was a funny gag- a bite to my behind, but you forgot one thing…
  169. >Ya gotta make it 「FUNNY!」
  170.
  171.
  172. >Beetlejuice's eyes flash into snake eyes, the first hint that Melody may go deeper than just comedy
  173. >the battle is interrupted by the arrival of the Lonesome Ghosts, bursting out of the tombstones
  174. >they've come on Eustace's orders to kill Courage, three of them surround him
  175. >Courage is petrified by fear
  176. >the fourth ghost stops the other three, points to Lydia
  177. >"It's that chick with the Dead Man's Party!"
  178. >Hank and Courage are confused, Lydia explains that the Dead Man's Party is (correct me if I get this wrong) an organization that is attempting to bring ghosts and humans together so they can live in peace
  179. >the Lonesome Ghosts are firmly against it, believe ghosts should scare humans, not coexist
  180. >they turn away from Courage and begin to converge on Lydia
  181. >Lydia cries out for help. Beetlejuice says some bullshit about not being able to stop another ghost, but it's really a test to gauge Courage's true power
  182. >Courage sees Lydia in danger. His mind connects it to Muriel
  183. >just as the ghosts are about to attack Lydia, they are hit with pies in the face
  184. >"Get away from Muriel!" Courage yells, pie in hand and ready for a fight
  185. >the ghosts bum rush Courage
  186. >Courage tosses his pie, blinding one, and kicks another one in the face with a giant boot, Anakaris style
  187. >that one goes flying into a tombstone, banishing him
  188. >Hank sees this, realizes that the ghosts can be defeated by knocking them into their graves
  189. >Courage hits another ghost in the face with a hilariously large boxing glove. Beetlejuice and Lydia watch, amazed at Courage's latent power
  190. >the other two grab hold of Courage and pin him down. The third gets back up.
  191. >"Alright wise guy, I've had about enough of you!"
  192. >he pulls out a large paddle and steps towards Courage ominously
  193. >Courage's strength disappears, he becomes overwhelmed by fear again
  194. >thinking quickly, Hank turns to Beetlejuice
  195. >"Got any more of those balloons?"
  196.
  197. >just as the ghosts are about to smack the shit out of Courage, a balloon floats by
  198. >then another. And another
  199. >"What the...?"
  200. >Hank snaps his fingers and the balloons explode in a proPAIN explosion
  201. >Courage runs and hides, without Lydia in danger his motivation to be courageous is gone
  202. >the explosions push one of the other ghosts into a grave, the other two stand back up and face Hank directly
  203. >one of the ghosts goes into a spiel about how ghosts will overpower the living and you can't kill a ghost and blah blah blah, Hank just literally kicks his ass into a grave
  204. >the last ghost, terrified by the group's power, just books it into a gravestone
  205. >Beetlejuice pulls Courage out of his hiding spot
  206. >"Not bad dog... maybe you ain't such a bore after all..."
  207. >Lydia tells Beetlejuice to cut it out, grabs Courage and starts comforting him
  208. >Hank and Beetlejuice start discussing the weird shit that's been going down
  209. >Beetlejuice says it sounds like Melody, explains the COMEDY aspects of it
  210. >Courage mentions that this all started when Eustace brought home a strange mask
  211. >Beetlejuice and Lydia ask what mask Courage is talking about. Beetlejuice seems to know more than he lets on
  212. >Courage offers to take Beetlejuice and Lydia to Shirley, since she's the one who supposedly sold it to Eustace
  213. >Hank, having the only transportation and for one reason or another wanting to go after Eustace (be it Dale's death or "he's got Bobbeh"), agrees to drive them there
  214. >Lydia, Beetlejuice, Courage, and Hank all pile into Hank's truck and drive to Shirley's tent
  215.
  216.
  217. >The gang is riding in Hank's truck on the way to Shirley's
  218. >Beetlejuice has to ride in the back, but sometimes tries to sneak up front to scare Courage
  219. >it works, but Lydia scolds him
  220. >suddenly, the truck tries to slow down
  221. >"Got dangit, why aren't we moving?"
  222. >Lydia looks around and notices the group looks different
  223. >She points to the side of the road
  224. >"Hey, there's an crate over there."
  225. >it reads "Acme Truck Stopping Tar™"
  226. >a loud crashing noise comes from the back
  227. >everyone looks in the back, where Beetlejuice is sitting on top of an Acme Anvil™
  228. >"Good thing I'mma ghost, huh?"
  229.
  230. >Hey gramps! What gives? You takin’ in the scenery or somethin’- lets just get goin!”
  231. >Hank stomps his gas pedal some more, then turns to Beetlejuice
  232. >”Got dang it, she’s stuck!”
  233. >Hank looks around outside, notices a decaying tree off to the side of the road
  234. >”Maybe If I can hitch her to that there tree I can pull her out”
  235. >Hank opens his door and takes a look at the tar bellow
  236. >”God dang it! I’ll get stuck in this here tar if I get out”
  237. >Hank turns to Lydia and looks at Courage
  238. >”Hey courage, if ya use that toon do hicky stuff to get over this tar and hook the winch on the truck bed, maybe we can get pulled out!”
  239. >”Yeah poochie- get us out a here, and find the wise guy who dropped the anvil while you’re at it!”
  240. >Courage lets off a nervous vibe, too which Hank gives him a stern glare. Lydia however, pets Courage
  241. >Come on Courage, use your 「Melody」to get over the tar. Don’t worry about who attacked us, I’m sure this way a long ranged attack…
  242. >The passenger door opens, Courage grabs the winch from Beetlejuice, looks down at the tar and shivers, thinking about the assailant
  243.
  244. >Beetlejuice looks over towards Courage, begins his rant
  245. >”Now pooch, you’re ready for the first step… the first sticky step” Beetlejuice takes a look at the tar then back to Courage
  246. >”Doggie, if you’re gonna get over the tar, you’re gonna have ta have 「BELIEF」that you can do it”
  247. >”Now, we’re gonna make this short and sweet- because honestly, Lydia’s a sweetheart- but not that sweet in she’s sending you out here.
  248. >”Whoever tried to get the drop- literally- on one of us is a 「Melody」user. He might not be hanging around but we shouldn’t take it too lightly.
  249. >”Just do it little doggie, oh and try to make it funny too, it what gives the 「Melody」life.
  250. >Courage again looks towards the tar, he turns to face the panel “I hate getting my paws sticky…”
  251. >Courage puts a paw down towards the tar. He backs it away at first, but then sticks his entire paw in
  252. >It sinks at first, but suddenly becomes a giant oversized galosh
  253. >Courage turns his other paw into a galosh, about half way through the tar the galosh begin to fade
  254. >Courage gets nervous once again, and takes a look back to the truck at Beetlejuice
  255. >Beetlejuice yawns in response, pretends to read a magazine
  256. >Courage then looks at his galosh and transforms it into a an oversized bunny slipper, with the same properties as the goulashes
  257. >”Niccccce doggy, cute and 「FUNNY」”
  258. >Courage makes it over to the tree, and ties the winch around the tree
  259. >Beetlejuice pops out from behind Courage
  260. >”GREAT, NOW LET ME DO THE HARD WORK!”
  261. >This scares Courage, who jumps back and watches Beetlejuice
  262. >”Lemme show you just how 「FUNNY」you can be…
  263. >Beetlejuice forms a table in front of him just like at a restaurant, he then sticks the winch in his mouth and slurps it in, while pulling the car out of the tar. Beetlejuice then pats his stomach and lets out a large belch. “Welp, still better than Neitherworld spaghetti!”
  264.
  265.
  266. >once the truck gets out of the mud, Courage and his team drive towards a tunnel in a cliff side
  267. >Beetlejuice leans forward and stares. "Something funny about that tunnel...
  268. >at the last second he tells Hank to put on the breaks
  269. >Hank stops just in time to avoid crashing into the painting of a tunnel on the cliff
  270. >"Got dang it, could've sworn that was real!"
  271. >Lydia points out the window
  272. >"Look there!"
  273. >it's Wile E. reading the Acme Ghostbusting Guide
  274. >Hank gets out and starts yelling at Wile E. to shoo
  275. >Wile E. realizes he's been spotted, throws dynamite at Hank's truck
  276. Then we can go into Shirley explaining the mask has terrible powers and Samurai Jack refusing to divulge the mask's weakness because Courage is too scared to fight it and so on and so forth. Also, quick suggestion.
  277. >Hank starts out dressed like >>80518518 but the more successful the Strickland Propane Goodwill Foundation becomes the less gaudy his outfit gets until he's just in his normal clothing from the show
  278.
  279. >this part on's a bit vague, for now let's go with Samurai Jack scares off Wile E. as a badass intro to his character
  280. >Shirley hired Jack as a bodyguard, Jack knows how to stop Eustace but is too weak to do it himself and refuses to aid Courage because he's too cowardly
  281. >Beetlejuice leads Courage to Skellington so he can conquer his fears
  282.
  283.
  284. >Jack (the samurai one) refuses to give Courage the sword that can kill Eustace unless he regains his courage, lost after Muriel's death
  285. >Dead Man's Party and Lydia suggest that to regain his lost bravery, he should face the king of fear
  286. >Courage finds Jack thanks to Dead Man's Party guiding him to Jack's (skeleton) lair
  287. >Jack detects Courage's fear because Pumpkin King rules or whatever, attacks him
  288. >they fight, Hank refuses to step in and help, saying Courage has to face Jack on his own
  289. >midway through the fight Courage regains his will to be brave, defeats Jack
  290. >Jack explains Melody and gives Courage his seal of approval
  291. >Samurai Jack was watching the whole time, deems Courage worthy of the sword and gives it to him
  292.
  293. Samurai Jack: "I think I have someone who can help you, friend Courage. They call him... Jack."
  294.
  295. Jack is probably able to create perfect illusions (on top of being all quick and nimble as always), making whatever it is you fear. he shows it off on his friends or maybe random people, and when he looks into Courage's mind for his fear... he just smiles and summons an entire army of things he's afraid of (good place for cameos of Courage monsters ala the giant foot and the cockroach man and such)
  296.
  297. >Courage runs around screaming while Skellington laughs in jovial amusement
  298. >Beetlejuice wisecracks about Courage being too soft for The King
  299. >others wait patiently
  300. >Courage then sees behind all the fears Murial in danger, his greatest of all his many fears
  301. >bursts through all the other fear illusions to tackle the last monster and save her
  302.
  303.
  304. As I said before, comedy and horror are two sides of the same coin, since they're both based on the concept of timing and playing off the unexpected. If we tie Jack's powers to Melody it can give Eustace a power boost in the final battle, when he realizes he can use toon powers in a legitimately horrifying way (flattened cartoon is funny, flattened person is not kind of idea, maybe?).
  305. I'm down with limiting his powers to fire and whatever magic he had in canon, though, to keep him from being more powerful than Eustace.
  306.
  307. I like a mix of your ideas. He KNOWS that there's more to terror melody than what he can do. Like he KNEW that there was more to christmas.
  308.
  309. It just takes someone who could mix toon force and horror together. Courage.
  310.
  311. Thats also what makes Eustace so strong. He can tap into that same power. But not as much as Courage has the potential to.
  312.
  313.
  314. A FIGHT WITH BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD HAPPENS SOMEWHERE HERE I THINK
  315.
  316. Beavis and Butthead are pretty much Tarkus and Bruford except less "Undead badass knights" and more, well, Beavis and Butthead.
  317.
  318. >they try and fail horribly to use comedic Melody
  319. >"Dude...like...boobies...huhuhuhu"
  320. >"I AM CORNHOLIO"
  321. >they're so idiotic it's tragic
  322. You know how in cartoons sometimes a rain cloud will form over people's heads? It's like that. Comedic tragedy Melody. It's already a theme in part 1 so I figured why not.
  323.
  324. >Hehehe, hehe, dude like, holy shit, did you see that. That Japanese samurai guy like, almost cut me in half, hehe.
  325. >Huhuhu, yeah totally. It was so sick, huhuhu.
  326. >Aw dude, do think if we beat him, we can get his sword, hehe, hehehe.
  327. >Huhuhu, Then we could be samurais, huhu.
  328.
  329.
  330. THIS IS THE PART WHERE COURAGE ENTERS THE BARN AND FIGHTS THE CEREAL TRIO
  331.
  332. They'd be hyped up as a terrifying final encounter before Eustace, turn out to be completely milquetoast, and then scare Courage anyway.
  333.
  334.
  335. FINAL BATTLE
  336.
  337. >Courage rushes for Eustace
  338. >rest of the party fighting off his generals/minions/whatever in their mini-boss fights
  339. >Hank goes down wounded
  340. >Bettlejuice flies in to the rescue, his ghost buddies/powers just giving the bad guy[s] shit but not landing any hits
  341. >"Is this all you've got? Jumping out of shadows and spooking me? Stand still and fight!"
  342. >"Oh, I'm not the fighting type. That's his style."
  343. >steps aside to show he's been hiding Hank and Propane Nightmare, who has been spending the whole time Beetlejuice has been running distractions to leak a visibly rippling cloud of propane
  344. >"It's how time!"
  345. >titanic explosion propelling Hank and his stand through all enemies in a remotely straight line ahead of him
  346.
  347. Eustace regains his humanity with his defeat. He pats Courage's head and mutters "stupid dog" before dying. And the ghosts can tell Courage that they'll pull some strings and help Eustace find Muriel again.
  348.
  349. >Eustace is defeated
  350. >the Mask is broken
  351. >Jack keeps staring sternly at it and starts shouting
  352. >"I KNOW YOU ARE IN THERE! YOU CANNOT FOOL ME!"
  353. >burns it for good measure
  354.
  355. >Hank driving
  356. >Lydia riding shotgun
  357. >Courage in her lap
  358. >Jack, Beetlejuice and whoever else they pick up in the back
  359. This or Hank cooking everyone dinner on his grill are ideas I'd want to give to a drawfag.
  360. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  361.
  362. EPILOGUE
  363. >Courage is resting peacefully on Lydia's lap in his old age
  364. >as he fades into sleep, he has something akin to a dream, but he can tell this is different
  365. >it's a vision
  366. >he sees Pillar Men slaughtering each other
  367. >the Earth has become a wartorn wasteland
  368. >atop a mountain of bodies, he sees Kuzco
  369. >Courage's field of vision seems to close in on him
  370. >Kuzco turns directly towards him
  371. >gives him a piercing stare as everything else but the two of them seem to fade away
  372. >his features become deformed and hideous
  373. >he lowers his head and, nearly under his breath, utters
  374. >"You're not perfect."
  375.
  376. >He has a nightmare or vision of the Pillarmen with their appearances heavily obscured.
  377. >Lydia comforts him and he puts away the worrying notion as they fade off into the sunset or whatever to start their new life.
  378. >Close up to an Aztec Temple
  379. >It slowly zooms into the temple with the MENACING kanji slowly coming into view
  380. >Some altar with Kuzco and his highest men fixed into the wall
  381. >An eye suddenly shines bright with life.
