Today they upload the article with my link. The problema is that it has the attribute rel=alternate

What is that? I was searching but i really dont understand at all.
What would you recommend me doing? To ask the seller to retire the attribute or its fine with it?

This is what the publisher reported:

Some major brands create websites that are standalone blogs and communities designed to reach out to potential customers. But creating a site for the purpose of outranking competitors and saying bad things about those competitors have some people upset at Google for ranking those sites.
