  1. [12:37] As she had lead them to an appropriate place in Osrona where they could hold their battle, thoughts circled his head. He had never fought a poison user before so it made him a little anxious. They stepped out into the paved arena both taking their sides.
  2.
  3. "Alright Dee! I'm not going to hurt you, but that doesn't mean I'm going to take it easy on you!" He nodded shaking his head. After all his magic was water, and it just depended on weather or not he would make the water sharp. So with this in mind as the battle commenced she would rush at him, seeming to be almost as quick as the people he fought yesterday in the tournament.
  4.
  5. Within seconds she would close within inches of him punch him and disappear again, on top of this she would turn into a poison cloud to dodge his strongest move, he coughed on the poisoned air waving it away from his face as he watched her plummet towards him, a field of cosmic magic appeared beneath his feet. It was hot to the touch and he quickly danced his way out of the area.
  6.
  7. With this in mind, he'd wait for her next charge. When he'd seen her coming he launched a Tsunami heading straight towards her, it would engulf her and carry her back feet away from him. As she got up and attempted to fire back a beam of her own, the two's beams would collide and sizzle the water inside. Although water seeming to be the more powerful magic in this case, her beam would dissipate forcing the water beam to hit her chest sending her back.
  8.
  9. Before she'd hit the ground, pull up the water at her location allowing her to fall into a pool of water rather than the hard pavement. Sure it was wet and cold, but it had to be better than landing on that pavement!
  10.
  11. "You did really great! I don't doubt that will you be able to beat me one day, in fact I look forward too it!" He said giving her a big smile and a thumbs up, before he'd offer to help her up.
  12. (August)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14.
  15. [13:03] While thoughts of what it'd be like to fight someone with a toxic nature like yours truly. Well, Dee was just pondering if they'd get fat flying around everywhere! She didn't think so after all it was almost like swimming through the air really. Still tiring but not in the same way. The fact she'd gotten a feel for the city and lead him straight into a sparring arena utilized by the city-states defenders didn't cross her mind.
  16.
  17. She spun around in place and looked back to August, well he looked nervous. Wonder what was on his mind? Oh, right the fight! No doubt he was worried about getting poisoned or something like that. While all she had to worry about was getting a little wet. "Nor should you August. I certainly won't take it easy on you. A few bruises are healthy after-all." Her lips curled into a smirk at that thought.
  18.
  19. Inhaled deeply as she peered across the stones at August. However, rather than immediately start topoison the environment around herself she did something different. A soft gagging sound was all the warning that August had of what was to come! With a great "PTEW!" The lapine rapidly spit a thick viscous slime on the ground and leapt on it! Almost as an ice skater would skate she used the fluid to close the gap in the blink of an eye!
  20.
  21. It was a twist and a kick to the stones that erupted the field in a blazing hot patch of celestial fire! The Tsunami was a nice touch and her fear of getting wet had the fear of getting whiplash added onto it as she was hurtled backwards! From the puddle she was left in the Hare spun around on her back and rolled upwards into a crouch!
  22.
  23. Her right arm shot forwards, a single finger extended towards August. "Comet Shot!" She yelled the name of her signature beam with gusto! Though, when it struck a wall of water? Well it evaporated in a hiss of steam a real shame the water kept coming. Knocking her backwards in yet another tumble, she was going to have to get used to that!
  24.
  25. A mud puddle caught her and she knew it wasn't chance. Well, he was honest about not hurting her at the very least! With a flutter of cosmic magic she propelled herself out of the mud and back onto her feet. Ignoring the hand up she quickly snatched the hand! Shaking it on an equal footing! "I told you when we met Auggie, I was going to be the BEST and I ment it! Now, get your rear back over to the starting point. We've got to whip you into shape so you don't lose at YOUR graduation tournament next year."
  26. (Dee )
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [13:11] He gave a slight smirk at her response, he liked the confidence she showed she always believed in herself and knew where she would end up one day. It was something he definitely admired her for, the battle was well fought and lasted quite a minute. The unique play style that was shown by Dee allowed her to come in quick do some good damage and then flee again.
  30.
  31. This worked against August's current moves, because he needed them to come to him and stay there if he wanted to do some damage. He stood up after the fight, giving a slight cough looking towards Dee's way. She without a doubt possesses the power, to be where she wanted to be. At least she was on his side right!
  32.
  33. He'd honestly be jealous she was jumping around the arena calling out her moves, looking like a superhero! He was just scurrying to defend himself.. He shook this thought off as he approached Dee, looking down at the hand shake. "This is incredible awkward. Who does handshakes?" He spoke giving cheerful smile turning his chin looking up towards her. "You want to go again?" He asked.
  34. (August)
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  36.
  37. [13:17] "Be thankful you get to touch my hand at all idiot." She really didn't miss a chance to lash out at all. Still, her lips had maintained a whistfull smile so there was that! Letting go of her handshake, she shifted her hand to his chest and simply pushed backwards. Now, she wasn't anything resembling a strong physical specimen. So, it was almost more like SHE moved backwards but still.
  38.
  39. "Of course, I want to beat you after-all and don't you worry I will." She then paused, rubbing the back of her neck. "Just, uh, careful with the wash-cycles there buddy." She didn't say why he should be careful but knowing Dee's own experiences with her poison magic in the past?
  40.
  41. Yea.
  42. (Dee )
  43.
  44. [13:56] Straight into the room they went! Dee didn't waste anytime rushing to her alchemical station. Hands deftly flicking on a few burners, tossing a pinch of ground fire crystal into the flames to bring them up to a proper heat for what she needed. Starting up what looked to be a type of distillation machine!
  45.
  46. "See the trick I've found is to just get right into it. Keep the burners going HOT and they'll distill the crystal powder faster. Then you've got to grind up the Poppy and..." As she spoke her hands reached up to a jar on the cabinet pulling out some ground air crystals. Almost like a salt shaker as she turned them up and started to sprinkle the green crystals into the largest beaker. Quickly the boiling water took on a greenish hue as it started to whirl its way through a long upwards toop that dripped a concentrated green mixture into the next beaker.
  47.
  48. "Well, then you've got to sprinkle it into the mixture." As she spoke she slid a poppy leaf into a mortar and pestle. Quickly crushing it before sliding the mush into the now cooling green mixture. "The nasty part is the rabitts foot. Like, really gross but that's Alchemy for you." As she spoke she pulled out a pickle drabbits foot from the shelf. Popping the lid off she'd quickly skin the fur off the foot and set it in a cup. Then, the cup went under the final beaker and a thick bluish liquid poured into the jar.
  49.
  50. Turning back she offered the potion to August. "Don't worry, I've got three more brewing as we speak. Here, oh and ignore the rabbit foot. Its doing its part you know."
  51. (Dee )
  52. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  53.
  54. [14:04] He followed closely behind Dee, as they got in her room and she begun working on her potions he took a seat on the bed and watched her do her work. It was fascinating to see and she seemed to be very educated in it as she knew what to do and where everything was, in short words she was prepared.
  55.
  56. He listened to her give him some tips and tricks, before he'd nod his head and attempt to keep that in the back of his mind. He watched as air crystals would sprinkle into the breaker, and the water started to changes its color. Everything was working the way she intended on it going. He looked back towards her, as she quickly moved around pouring the ingredients into the concoction.
  57.
  58. He tried to erase the rabbits from his mind, although he helped slaughter and collect the rabbits feet anyways. He could smell the pickled feet from where he was sitting, he'd want to gag but he tried all his best to not. He looked up at her smiling, surely he was completely thankful that she would brew these up for him, however he wasn't excited to drink it!
  59.
  60. He pinched his nose, looking at her "Thank you Dee, bottoms up!" he spoke raising the bottle and than chugging it until the last drop would come out. He'd shake his head and let out a groan.. he quickly grabbed a empty cup beside him and filled it with water to chase it down. Once he finished that glass, he'd look at her with a smile, "That was great!" He nodded reassuringly!
  61. (August)
  62.
  63. [14:14] She giggled softly as she watched him force himself to drink the potion. "Not as eager about it now that you know how its made huh? You should hear how they cook hotdogs." Her arms crossed, watching August gulp his water. She just made a soft tsk sound and shook her head. "I told you August, you're really bad at lying."
  64.
  65. Though, not like it mattered! Sometimes you had to take some DRUGS to get your body to be the best it could be. Which reminded her, turning away from the boy she walked back to her table, opening a small drawer on it she pulled out a wooden case. Picking away at it she retrieved a handful of pills.
  66.
  67. Quickly she brought the handful to her lips, dry swallowing the concoction quickly! Then with a flourish she closed the wooden box and shoved it back into its Drawer. Shutting it quickly as she turned back to August. "So, what were you doing in Osrona?"
  68. (Dee )
  69. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  70.
  71. [14:14] * You have been awarded 3 Roleplay Points! *
  72. [14:24] He shook his head agreeing with Dee, "I'm not even going to ask.." He spoke in regard about the hotdogs.. his stomach was already feeling pretty queasy he gave her a soft smile, "I mean.. for a potion with a rabbits foot and all the other ingredients. I will admit it tasted better than I thought it would."
  73.
  74. He watched as she would retrieve some pills out of a wooden case, he awaited until they would be swallowed to ask his question, "Is that like the vitamins you were telling me to take?" He asked giving a quick laugh. "Maybe that's how you were able to best me today! It's your secret trick?" He nodded.
  75.
  76. He looked back up to her before he'd answer her last question, "I was.. you know shopping and stuff." He said scratching the back of his head, "I was thinking about some stuff and than you appeared! Like a genie, you sure you're not hiding another magic from me?" His eyes would squint as he'd give her a look trying not to break his act.
  77. (August)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [14:36] Dee brought a finger up to her lips, shushing August quickly as he started asking questions of her secret routine! "Sssh! Its a seeecret for a reason!" Ignore the fact she was yelling about it. "But, yes they're my vitamins. Among other things... Its how I keep healthy even while utilizing poison magic. As you well know being a water magi doesn't suddenly make you immune to water or drowning."
  81.
  82. She leaned against her table, lazily reaching out and turning down the beakers heat sources. "I use my stomach as a cauldron of sorts, Athanor Corpis, is what I call it. See if I have the right mixtures of materials, uh, at hand lets say. All I have to do is flush mana through my system and bam. Magical effects." Her gaze trailed towards the far wall. "Its experimental techniques."
  83.
  84. Glancing back to August she listened quietly for a moment. Then she brought a hand up to cup her chin, glancing upwards and to the left. "No, I would never. Though, I do have a good penchant for timing I've been told." Shifting her gaze back to August she'd flash a smirk. "Well in that case, what do you want to do now?"
  85. (Dee )
